Your group of friends look so fun and like you had just the best time! I love the home cooking over the fire. So camping legit. This video makes me wish we had more friends who camped and more close by! Frank and I want to go camping so bad this summer! It's been years for us, though... I think our first excursion will be in our backyard, haha!
We had so much fun. It was actually our first time ever camping together, and we may go again in September! You guys should totally do a backyard camp sesh!! That'd be fun to make it all pretty and done up and vlog it :)
My visits to China Camp are the exact opposite of yours. About twice a week I do solo runs on the trails for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. I run from one end, to the top and across to the other end, back down and all the way back to the end I started at (the campground end). I eat nothing until I get home.
In 15 years I have never seen a bear or a mountain lion. But I can add snakes, lizards, bunnies and newts to your list.

Haha "China inspired" I love it. The whole camp was weirdly China inspired, and we totally saw a huge camping set up with a big Chinese family. I'm starting to realize that China will always be part of my life :)

Good God I'm from Marin County and I wouldn't even swim in that dirty water I know it's nice to get away and go camping but not there there's the story back in the 70s I knew the young lady just thought you should be aware if you ever go camping out there again Marlene Olive killed her parents I took their bodies out there they had humongous fire pits at one time they just started the bodies out there and trying to camp the Rangers stumbled upon it thinking that it was somebody who was poaching deer but it wasn't it was human remains there is a book about it called bad blood in Marin County new the young lady personally she was crazy not a lot of people go camping there anymore just thought I'd let you know
