I’ve made so many mistakes, but through it all, God has demonstrated His love and faithfulness to me by continuing to give me the good that I don’t deserve. God, you are indeed a good Father. I reflect now on the handful of times when I thought that you had given up on me and that there would be no good thing for me… oh how you’ve proven me wrong by using the very suffering that I’ve endured to give me your greatest gift: a closer relationship with yourself, and now, you’ve given me all the desires of my heart as well. I will cherish Jonathan forever.
But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Dear Anh - I was so moved when I first found out that you had found love. Love in a friend that blossomed into the special love shared between two people as partners. When I saw that you had both taken the step towards marriage I was even more moved and felt so happy for you both! The Father hears us. He proved that to me today through a non-romantic incident but from reading your perspective in the description box I can clearly see that He heard you. You know often times we tend to think or feel that God isnt there. And trust me those Feelings are legit as in it genuienly feels that way but is it the Truth? It is written that He will always be with us and this incident of you and me sometimes feeling like God maybe wasnt paying attention and then Boom He comes through just shows me that He is Always there: Listening.

I am happy for both of you. I never really thought that people could really find 'the one' until I realized that God can truly write our love stories. I have heard how people found each other by praying to God and how they eventually got married in the 6 months they have met each other. Crazy right? Now, two beautiful people who love the Lord are now engaged.
It's an awesome thing to know that if you only trust God wholeheartedly that He will definitely be with you throughout your entire life journey, even carry you through pain and struggle when life gets rough.

I had a very simple 'asking for marriage' happening with my husband.
Also cannot really remember 'when' or 'how' it happened.
But we have a very happy marriage for 17 years with no quarrel but lots of love and acceptance in Christ.
