The Tulin interaction is so cute, a kid looking up to a potential mentor. What's more is that Tulin wasn't all talk, he became a master of the wind and wields the great eagle bow.
If Revali was the last champion to die that means he likely heard all of the SOS signals of the other champions meaning that he’d know basically all the people he could have considered friends had died and that nobody could help him. That’s pretty dang sad.
@@ismyname443it’s likely the divine beasts had some kind of system to receive signals if they could send them. The beasts were all made by the same people, so it would make sense.
I don't if this has been said in the comments, but regarding the Ritos and their night-vision, there is a Rito Lady in Gerudo Town and she explicitly states that Ritos can't see well in the dark. This indicates that Revali had a very unfair disadvantage from the beginning.
I think it's worth noting how teba claims that the great eagle bow is too heavy for most rito to use without being slowed down, but revali's strength counteracts it's weight. While this is clearly true under most circumstances, since Revali did had to fly across almost the entire map to get to vah medoh, it's possible he left it behind because it started to weigh him down
The flatline only being heard in Vah Medoh's music could actually be another thing pointing to Revali being the last champion to die. Rather than just symbolizing Revali's death, it could instead mean that with the last one now dead, this flatline is the end of the champions as a whole.
In the part where you mentioned the SOS theme, I heard someone describe it in a way I can’t unsee. They said that since the SOS theme starts later and is more panicked it shows Ravoli was cocky at first and confident he could take it on alone until he received a reality check and realized “oh s@&$, this is real. I NEED HELP” and this lead to a frantic cry and desperate call for help only for none to come and lead to the sad fate of his death
Kinda funny coincidence knowing now that Revali is left-handed. He doesn't share this trait with *this* Link, as he's one of the few Links to be canonically right-handed. A subtle thing to continue their mirror.
May I add the fact that while revali was fighting it was raining and he uses bomb arrows so it wouldn’t have a affect on wind light ganon. That is in the botw timeline
I actually think a neat detail about King Roahm's and the music in the Divine Beasts is that Rudania is the first SOS to hear and is shown first, Rutas SOS comes in a couple seconds in, Naboris takes a couple more seconds for the SOS to come in and its seen next and Medoh takes a lot longer to hear the SOS and is the last beast shown. I think this is an indication of Daruk dying first and Mipha and Urbosa could have survived a bit longer and Revali was able to hide long enough to survive longer.
@@Anselma_That makes the most sense, based on his ego and how much he wants to be the best it’s probaly difficult for him to ask for help. I can relate even though I have no ego I just hate asking for help
I'd say equally that it could relate to the timing of who was attacked first, and their mindset. Daruk sent an SOS first, because he's a goron, to them, community is very important, so if he's concerned he isn't doing too hot, he'll see if anyone can help immediately, hoping he can hold the threat off long enough to do something with his protection ability, or that he could get under its guard and shut off the signal. Then Mipha, who is a healer, and who wouldn't want to burden others, but quickly realized she was overwhelmed. Then Urbosa, someone who could feasibly put up a good fight against her blight, and might have even won if she had the thunder helm at the time, so that all she would be dealing with was a fast swordsman, not fighting on a magical level as well. Lastly, Revali, proud, and mobile enough to keep himself safe for the longest, guessing that if everyone was being attacked, it was his duty to kill his blight, and failing that, to hold out long enough for the others to be rescued before he received aid. Each one fits who they are. Whether Mipha or Daruk went down first is hard to say. Mipha, while skilled, still seems more likely to have been downed first. Her blight could freeze her, outrange her, and she couldn't evade very well without sacrificing the divine beast. Depends on your opinion on the durability of Daruk's Protection on who went down first though.
@@theendersmirk5851I definitely think it was Mipha. In one of the extra pieces of dialogue we get from the Champions Ballad DLC after you take on Waterblight again, she says that it took her out quickly and it’s spear was through her chest faster than she realized or…. something. Actually I don’t remember the line like, at all, so that’s probably not even close to the original, but I know it’s out there.
mild totk spoils// tulin being the sage of the wind in totk with his own wind gust ability is the sweetest thing ever when in the context of the aoc cutscene with revali
revali has been my absolute favorite from the very beginning and i'm always so happy when more people appreciate him. the videos you've made on him have so much care put into them and really do him justice. knowing how likely it is that we won't get any more official champion content is a real tragedy so videos like these always lift my spirits
I agree with you on when he died. When you mentioned the cutscenes, the SOS signals line up with the order in which the divine beasts are taken over. Daruk first, because he knew he would need help. Mipha second, because she probably didn’t want to take attention away from Daruks but knew she was outmatched. Urbosas third, probably because she just didn’t have time to send it trying to fend off Thunderblight. And Revali last, not because he was too prideful, but because he knew no one could make it to Medoh to save him. So…yeah.
The fact that Revali was also probably a teenager further solidifies the parallels between him and Link, just like Mipha has with Zelda. Mipha was in love with Link, and was a princess blessed with divine abilities, and Revali was a champion of his race and naturally talented. The fact that they died and stayed in the background while Link and Zelda were kept alive due to prophecy is just a bad draw of the cards.
I miss Revali. If we dont get more content of him in totk ima cry ☹️☹️☹️ this video just makes me feel more bad for Revali STOP MAKING ME CRY WITH THESE VIDEOS I LOVE HIM TOO MUCH HE DESERVED TO LIVE I also wondered why the Morse signals changed I noticed that in game
i hope so. revali is my absolute favourite and my first divine best done ever, this will sound weird but i actually have good imagination so i can imagine being revali using his gle and archery watch his memory and you will see what he does,
I've recently been liking Revali more, then found this video All these facts made me like him even much more and feel very bad for him, normally I ignore the divine beasts music but when I heard of this I literally felt like tearing up- which is weird ig I'm feeling emotional today xD This is an underrated video ngl
Thanks for your kind words! If you want a better dive into Revali’s character, I’d recommend going and checking out the video I did before this one if you haven’t already. I think you’ll really enjoy that one! :)
I actually started appreciating Revali once I played the game a second time in English (I'm Italian). The tone of the character is so freaking different, and I love it deeply. Also, as you stated, I believe he's the only character in BOTW who truly has development. His ability is straight up broken, and that bow is AMAZING. I find the whole story to be pretty sad, even because I can't help but think that him and Link would have been great friends, as they have a lot in common. And yeah, I had actually noticed he was left-handed, and I was very happy about it, as I'm left-handed too. So yeah, one of my favorite characters, and if I'll ever get to own a thoroughbred or a PSA in my life, I'll sure as hell name it Revali's Gale.
I'm a Rivali bias, and will always protect hin. And just because your Rivali videos, I could find your Chanel. What a great day to be a revali fangirl.
From someone who was in archery! Revali is "left eyed" meaning your left eye is dominat over your right. This does not mean left handed! But he still could be (coming from someone who's left eyed and right handed)
There’s also a comment from Urbosa in her diary about Revali’s age. Or we’ll, indirectly anyways. She says that she hopes her and Daruk will be able to help guide the younger Champions, referring to Zelda, Link, Mipha and Revali. And I mean like, *obviously* Revali is younger than Daruk and Urbosa, but the way she phrases it, imo anyways, implies that Revali is in a similar age range to those three. Which, you already touched on in your video so there’s actually no point in me writing this comment, but I also just think it’s really interesting that Urbosa imposed that role on herself. And I just think that the idea of Urbosa and Daruk being Mom and Dad has a lot of silly potential, especially in the context of Revali most likely not having parents. The Champions could have been THE found family damn it. 😔
I wish instead of memorie they let us play the past as an introduction, so that we form bonds with them and get more motivation to defeat ganon after the calamity
I firmly believe that as revali was sending out his SOS, he was hiding from windblight (hence windblights “search and destroy,” as vah medoh doesn’t search nor destroy anything)
The Search and Destory signal can be heard in all of the divine beast songs, not just vah medohs. Search and destroy can also just mean that the blights need to look for the divine beasts and destroy the current pilots.
When you said the word "determination" I thought of "Revali's Gale is filled with determination!". Your video is sooo good! Well narrated and easy to grasp the info. I never thought of those design details before and this game just keeps on giving. This botw/totk saga is filled with details that you can fill up through looking at the ambient and small dialogues from npcs and diaries so its easy for a lot people (like me) to skip up those important yet interesting details. My fave champs are Urbosa and Revali (i love the four ngl) but this vid has given me a new light that he might just be my fave one of all.
Awesome video. Very refreshing to not only see Revali-negative videos in my feed. Super minor thing though, but Revali drawing with his left hand doesn’t confirm him being left handed, only that his left eye is dominant. When using a bow and arrow, you aim with your dominant eye and draw the bowstring with the same side hand, ignoring which hand is dominant. So a right handed but left eyed person would still draw with their left hand.
I know im late to the party but did you know that in Botw, Kass specifically tells Link about the rito not being able to see in the dark? I cannot remember how the exact conversation goes, but I think I heard him saying it in faron during the rain/night? I don’t know for sure where and when he said it but I definetly know he did say it, on top of that, in botw we can see that Ganon appears at dusk, and seeing Revali has the longest way to get to his beast it would make even more sense as to why its dark. Also, one thing people forget is that vah medoh has a barrier, and so during his fight with windblight Revali likely didn’t even have the proper space to fly around as he couldn’t really go anywhere……. Anyway great vids man! The editing is good and you deserve more subs! Keep going!
Replaying BOTW right now, Revali has always been a favorite of mine, and watched your two Revali videos... really loved the analysis of his character. Also, while playing and reaching Rito Village/Vah Medoh, I really took the time to listen to try and hear the SOS and SAD signals in the music... and man. Now that you've pointed out the flatline section too, I just can't unhear it. Just gotta think happy thoughts.... think about the AoC timeline instead... think about how cute the Tulin and Revali interaction is.... yeah............... (gosh I love this bird so much)
This one might be slight TotK spoilers but it's also got me thinking. Honestly, I wonder if the Champions might have been the Sages of their era. We know that Urbosa, Daruuk, and Mipha would all have a blood connection to their own Sages from the era of the Zonia, (since Sidon is Mipha's blood brother and the other two are direct decedents of the champions) and well... We know that the Rito's Sage passed on his line long enough for it to reach Teba and Tulin, but given it was effectively 9,900 years... I can see it having one or more branches. Like honestly, it'd be more surprising if Revali *wasn't* somehow related to that ancient Sage really. Add in that Revali is doing something that no one else has managed to replicated with powers over wind (which is also Tulin's Sage specialty)... He might have been a Sage who hadn't fully awakened to that role.
You are so underrated and your videos are amazing. Because of you I have realized that Revali isn’t such a bad champion, and that he had it harder than the other champions. Good job, you have earned another subscriber. 🔥🔥
I assumed that the reason for Revali’s late SOS was because the other champions needed backup when they were ambushed by the blights, but Revali was determined that he didn’t need help to kill windblight.
On the topic of the blights and who went down in what order, the fact that its *so* dark when Revali is fighting, despite him having the most direct route
I just discovered your Revali video yesterday and I'm so glad I did! Revali's my favourite Champion and character in BotW and AoC by far (hence the pfp) and favourite characyer in general, and you're doing him justice. Keep up the awesome work! 💪💕 Edit: I think the fact that Rito have poor night sight is canon in Creating a Champion, hence why people have mentioned it before! It's terrible, Revali probably never had a chance without help and it makes me sad thinking about it. Your videos nearly made me cry with how well you're presenting Revali 💞
Glad to see your channel grow like that, keep up the good work! Also I swear that I never noticed that the tracks had morse code in them until you pointed it out. That's a very neat detail that I wish I found out myself while playing, too bad that I probably got too focused on the puzzles to even hear them
I will never turn down a video about Revali! 🐦 Good work on both videos about the best Champion, they were well-put together and fun (well… not the relieving the dying part, but we’ll just ignore that :> )
Man i wish that the champions survived they all had their own personalities and history that we only barely see in botw(idk about AoC never played). And their dynamics with link and zelda were interesting. But from the stuff I seen they survive in AoC and ive heard thats canon in a way so maybe there can be a sequel or something in that timeline because Ganondorf still exists in that timeline as far as i know.
I never noticed the little red cheeks were only on the young Rito, and I love that Revali still has them. It reminds me of the yellow or red lining of real baby birds' mouths to help the parents feed them. It goes away sometime after they fledge and learn to feed themselves 🥰
I stumbled onto your Revali analysis video and it makes me so happy that they’re people who love him as much as I do ^^!! Makes it funnier since I don’t like cocky characters but he’s the exception lmao
aw wish i wouldve found you earlier :) you’re sucha nice dude, your editing is rlly good and the video content is rlly interesting and well told. keep up the great work!
This is the reason why Revali is my personal favorite character. He has layers, and he’s pretty interesting. I’m biased- wait what- He’s an arrogant jerk, no- more like a tsundere bird. Also, apperently the *ONLY* champion who wasn’t destined to actually become a champion. Ravioli all the way! I may be biased, but I don’t care! I absolutly love him!
Hi! Just wanted to say I've loved your videos (this one and the last one) on Revali. I found you just this morning when I saw a YT recommendation for your "Where's Teba?" video based on the final trailer. I've not gone too far back, but figured I'd check out a few more of your videos. Happy to say I'm now subscribed and look forward to more from you. You're doing great!
I would also like to point out that, in my opinion, Teba's design seems to be inspired by a mix of Barn Owl and Snow Owl. It would explain how easily, in WindBlight Ganon's fight during Age of Calamity, it was for the tides of fight to change. Like you said, birds of prey and other types of birds don’t have good eyesight during the night, with the experience of owls who are the master a night vision, but do not fo that well with daytime vision. The flight range is also a huge indicator as well. The area is literally a deep hole in a mountain and considering the Hebra's Mountain constate state of Snow/Blizzard, light and visibility are VERY restricted. Flight Range could not only be used for Archery training purposes, by also for eye vision exercises. By training in a more darker area, Ritos eyesight could become more sharper and by looking at the age difference between Teba and Revali, it seems that Revali hadn’t gotten close to sharpen his eyesight enough. But those are just my theories! :)
One thing you forgot to mention about revali being the last champion to die is that on the rito tower there’s malice and flying guardians while with every other champions tower it was just monsters or a challenge. This may mean that Ganon thought that the rito were more of a threat because of revali
As a half Japanese trying to master the language, I do play BOTW and AoC with the Japanese audio with the English subtitles. I noticed something with how Revail says "I" in Japanese in both games, he uses the word "boku" (僕) which is mostly used by younger males rather than the rougher sounding "ore" (俺) which Daruk uses, usually used by more mature males and males trying to sound gruff when they're among their friends say. It's a subtle detail but I think that points out the age of Revali and perhaps a lack of confidence on his part as he'd rather not sound too rough/brutish. Also great vids on Revali, I wasn't a big fan of him at first but now I appreciate him more after hearing what he's had to battle through
been a while since this video came out and I forgot to actually watch it but I regret to inform you that I knew every single thing in this video except for the order that the divine beasts were *shown* being taken over. that one's interesting- I would have expected the death order to be mipha-daruk-urbosa-revali so the fact that it's not is *interesting* and something I might have to look into myself. but yeah, us revali fans are a little nuts about him, y'know how it is. enjoyable watch, thank you :)
A rito lady in gerudo mentions something about not being able to see in the dark i don't remember the conversation exactly but if you talk to her at night she says something about rito village not being very bright so rito cant really go out. She pretty much confirms that rito are pretty close to being blind in the dark
Also to mention that all the other blights have attacks that fit each of the champions weaknesses EXCEPT Windblight, his attacks are simple and easy to dodge for Revali, and most people would joke about how he was just 'too stupid' to survive, but I never thought about the time of day or climate. It all makes sense now... Also thanks for making me cry 😂 I actually liked Revali.... The Divine beast soundtracks are so mmeeaann I can't even listen to them anymore.
Regarding the age thing. Zelda's ~117 when you wake up from the shrine of resurrection too, not sure you can read too much into the other characters ages based on appearance.
Well, Impa is also over 100 and is the same race with Zelda and Link and she looks like an old lady, I assume Zelda’s body was preserved the same age as when she first sealed the calamity.
@@Code_Lune the only 100+ hylian characters in botw are link, zelda, impa, purah and robbie link was kept in stasis in the shrine of resurrection, and zelda was kept in stasis while sealing ganon in hyrule castle we know purah used sheikah tech to make herself younger impa and robbie actually look old
Kek, I should have found this video before I left a comment on the first video- I also want to add that rain is terrible weather to be flying in, so not only is Revali half blind, he's also struggling to fly and fighting an enemy that can control wind and repell any light weaponry, and we all know arrows are pretty darn light. Ah, pain- Also, am I the only one who finds Revali's music on Vah Medoh really lonely sounding? It just broke my heart the first time I heard it, in a way none of the other music in the game had. And that was before I read his diary or finished getting the memories.
If the theory about him losing the great eagle bow is true, then him saying “but only because I was winging it.” When telling you that windblight beat him makes that statement less arrogance and more truth lol
Insert clip of Zelda crying in links lap. I have been crying for the past THREE DAYS because I can’t have my chicken nugget back. He’s my favorite out of all the characters! Also, here’s some more depressing facts! Wherever the champions spirits appear, are where they died. So I think Revali was shot out of the air, and then the killing blow was delivered while he was flightless on the ground. Or it was a one and done hit. Also, Mipha dies against the wall. She was either impaled, or maybe worse, bled out. I cry whenever a beat the divine beasts. I can’t help it (it’s my 15 year old ass’s hormones).
**Tears of the Kingdom spoilers so** Watching this a year after this was posted, I can’t help but wonder if Teba and Tulin, and Revali were distantly related in some way after all after Tears of the Kingdom. Riju and Urbosa are descendants of the Sage of Lightning, Daruk and Yunobo are descendants of the Fire Sage, Mipha and Sidon are descendants of the Water Sage, but what about Tulin and Revali? We know Teba and Tulin are descendants of the Wind Sage, but what about Revali? Wouldn’t that explain how he was able to utilize Revali’s Gale as well as he did? Based on Age of Calamity, Tulin was able to make “Tulin’s Tornado,” so chances are that the wind power came from the Sage bloodline. But if any Rito can do it, maybe the Sage power made it more possible to unlock the power of Wind or boost what was already there. Maybe Revali’s power was dormant and he had to work extra hard like Tulin to unlock it. The possibility of Revali being the odd one out made me feel kinda bad for him, but also appreciate him more for being not only gifted, but also very hardworking and determined in pushing his limits to get where he is, despite being a Rito warrior like his peers. Speaking age, I’m willing to assume Revali is either he’s a special case or like you said, a teen approaching adulthood (17-18). Most of the adult Rito we see are most likely ones already past young adulthood of that age range. I haven’t noticed a point where there is a middle ground between fledglings and full adults. The fledgling/chicks in TotK are just older, but not in the middle of their teen years yet, I assume. Revali seems to be the only Rito that represents the young adults of the Rito tribe and those approaching adulthood, which personally kinda sucks imo. I initially thought his height was not associated with his age, but more of the possibility that it’s just his height he happened to have. I’m an adult, yet I’m shorter than my peers. I still look like I could be a young adult (20 or younger) despite my age, so I can relate to Revali with that perspective. I know he most likely been based on a falcon and/or eagle, who could say his height couldn’t also reference how some birds tend to be smaller than others like other species of what he’s based on.
When i was first playing botw i could confidently say, out of the champions revail was my least favourite. However now i honestly have to say i ADORE HIM!!!!! HE HAS FLAWS BUT HES SO REAL! I ACT LIKE HIM FR HE WORKED SO HARD FOR HIS POSITION i respect him so much!!
I recon Ravali hid from windblight to recover but by the time he came out of hiding he realised he and the rest of the champions were going to Fall to the blight Ganons
And FINALLY, SOMEONE sees that! All Ritos have those blushing: Kids, then the 12 year olds like shown in Tears of the Kingdom and then Revali. I think Revali in Botw is about 21 years old. And now, where everyone of my so called "Discord Friends" are hating me, i know for sure that the Sages of TotK are the Champions from Botw. I don't know how this is possible and i don't even care. My Heart tells me, that i'm right. They all have the same Voice Actor. Revali as a Sage is now fully grown up. Daruk has more beard, Urbosa has a different Hair style and then Mipha. She is also grown up, because she was like Revali, in adulthood or a young teenager in Botw. ALL the Zora have darker skin and are bigger than Mipha in Botw and AoC. I hate it, that no one believes me when i am saying, that the Sages ARE those Champions. It's just logical. And like i said, they have the same voice actor.
I love the video, but since you use Age of Calamity and point out how it was dark, you can also point out how Revali also has the Great Eagle Bow to fight Windblight Ganon
another point is that Revali's cockiness is far from mis-placed, considering the fight between him and Link in AoC, frankly, Revali won, don't get me wrong, he had every advantage, but the fact is that Revali had the tactical and combat ability to have won there. also Revali's SOS signal coming in late is probably because he was the only champion capable of going on the offensive against their blight, if only briefly, so he didn't believe that he would lose until well after the start of the fight *even with* the sheer number of disadvantages he was facing
I have a theory that Revali has the red cheeks because he has something in is past he is unable to let go of, could be related to the identity theory but could also be other things. The desire he has to prove himself, especially to Link does seem a bit childish.
The Tulin interaction is so cute, a kid looking up to a potential mentor. What's more is that Tulin wasn't all talk, he became a master of the wind and wields the great eagle bow.
Even better after you complete the Rito quest line in Tears of the Kingdom

Please also remember that Revali is a certified pun master
Well, I'll be plucked!
If we dont get more content of him in totk ima cry ☹️☹️☹️ this video just makes me feel more bad for Revali
STOP MAKING ME CRY WITH THESE VIDEOS I LOVE HIM TOO MUCH HE DESERVED TO LIVE
I also wondered why the Morse signals changed I noticed that in game
I dont think there will be the og champions in totk but i think there will be mentions of them and that they will be remembered as legends
i hope so. revali is my absolute favourite and my first divine best done ever, this will sound weird but i actually have good imagination so i can imagine being revali using his gle and archery watch his memory and you will see what he does,
well,
im sorry lmao
I've recently been liking Revali more, then found this video
All these facts made me like him even much more and feel very bad for him, normally I ignore the divine beasts music but when I heard of this I literally felt like tearing up- which is weird ig I'm feeling emotional today xD
This is an underrated video ngl
Thanks for your kind words! If you want a better dive into Revali’s character, I’d recommend going and checking out the video I did before this one if you haven’t already. I think you’ll really enjoy that one! :)
Same, knowing that Revali was coky to the end was kind of funny not gonna lie.
Oh hey, same, left eyed right hander here too! =D
If you keep up this level of quality in the videos you're gonna blow up when TotK releases trust me
I felt so emotional when you spoke about his SOS, it's heartbreaking
I always knew Revali wasn’t that much of a jerk, and now that I saw these two videos I love him even more, in my eyes he’s the best champion 💕
Revali always was my favourite champion, even if almost the whole internet hates him. And these informations all made me like him even more!
I wish instead of memorie they let us play the past as an introduction, so that we form bonds with them and get more motivation to defeat ganon after the calamity
Love how all the Revali stans are uniting here lmao
Seeking an identity for himself, and an orphan?
Recall is naruto but not the main character 😱
Revali being a kid makes him so much cooler
You missing the joke got a hearty chuckle outta me. But thank you for confirming he’s left-handed! It’s an interesting tidbit. :)
The good news, I got a lot of ideas for my story from this
The bad news, I’m now suitably depressed
Keep going!
analyzing the morse code in the divine beast music always messed up my emotions so bad
*Totk spoilers*
“Maybe it won’t be long until you’re master of the wind like me.” Talk about foreshadowing
2:57 I will forever call him short and spicy now.
Probably not because some powers that the champions held were too different to the ones of their descendants
You are so underrated and your videos are amazing. Because of you I have realized that Revali isn’t such a bad champion, and that he had it harder than the other champions. Good job, you have earned another subscriber. 🔥🔥
Now I feel bad for calling him a glorified air-fryer chicken drumstick.
(TotK spoilers)
“Someday I’ll even master the Great Eagle Bow!”
You will Tulin. [sniff] You will.
Edit: I think the fact that Rito have poor night sight is canon in Creating a Champion, hence why people have mentioned it before!
🐦 Good work on both videos about the best Champion, they were well-put together and fun (well… not the relieving the dying part, but we’ll just ignore that :> )
you have really turned me into a revali fan! can’t really say i have a favorite champion, but i appreciate him a lot more
Also to support revali being last to die would be that his fight takes place in the night
I love your videos. Your voice is so confident sounding, and I really hope my animations can reach the level of your edits someday. I love birb boi.
Can we all just admit that Tulin is adorable and the scene that was shown in the age kf calamity is foreshadowing him being the wind sage in totk
Could you not have put a spoiler warning
I never noticed the little red cheeks were only on the young Rito, and I love that Revali still has them. It reminds me of the yellow or red lining of real baby birds' mouths to help the parents feed them. It goes away sometime after they fledge and learn to feed themselves 🥰
Thank u for showing us the real Ravioli
I stumbled onto your Revali analysis video and it makes me so happy that they’re people who love him as much as I do ^^!! Makes it funnier since I don’t like cocky characters but he’s the exception lmao
aw wish i wouldve found you earlier :) you’re sucha nice dude, your editing is rlly good and the video content is rlly interesting and well told. keep up the great work!
This is the reason why Revali is my personal favorite character.
He has layers, and he’s pretty interesting.
I’m biased- wait what-
He’s an arrogant jerk, no- more like a tsundere bird.
POV: You find another underrated botw youtuber
this video makes me love revali so much more. thank you for this another amazing video!
13:16 because I haven't seen this elsewhere, this: . . . / .- / - . . SAD in Morse Code
I knew about the SOS but not the SAD or the freaking flatline.
I’m just gonna go cry now
One thing you forgot to mention about revali being the last champion to die is that on the rito tower there’s malice and flying guardians while with every other champions tower it was just monsters or a challenge. This may mean that Ganon thought that the rito were more of a threat because of revali
This video was on my feed! You make good good content.
U just made me love Revali even more, I cried
These videos have such good quality thank you for making them! :)
Also great vids on Revali, I wasn't a big fan of him at first but now I appreciate him more after hearing what he's had to battle through
been a while since this video came out and I forgot to actually watch it but I regret to inform you that I knew every single thing in this video except for the order that the divine beasts were *shown* being taken over. that one's interesting- I would have expected the death order to be mipha-daruk-urbosa-revali so the fact that it's not is *interesting* and something I might have to look into myself.
but yeah, us revali fans are a little nuts about him, y'know how it is. enjoyable watch, thank you :)
i always interpreted the "flatline" as the SAD message becoming just D saying the champions were destroyed but i might be mishearing :D
Honestly Revali is somewhat relatable bc he uses a mask to hide his insecurities like I used to and he has layers instead of being rude
2:57 's "Short King" killed me
A rito lady in gerudo mentions something about not being able to see in the dark i don't remember the conversation exactly but if you talk to her at night she says something about rito village not being very bright so rito cant really go out. She pretty much confirms that rito are pretty close to being blind in the dark
This is very well explained, great video !
@@Code_Lune the only 100+ hylian characters in botw are link, zelda, impa, purah and robbie
link was kept in stasis in the shrine of resurrection, and zelda was kept in stasis while sealing ganon in hyrule castle
we know purah used sheikah tech to make herself younger
impa and robbie actually look old
Kek, I should have found this video before I left a comment on the first video-
I also want to add that rain is terrible weather to be flying in, so not only is Revali half blind, he's also struggling to fly and fighting an enemy that can control wind and repell any light weaponry, and we all know arrows are pretty darn light. Ah, pain-
Also, am I the only one who finds Revali's music on Vah Medoh really lonely sounding? It just broke my heart the first time I heard it, in a way none of the other music in the game had. And that was before I read his diary or finished getting the memories.
If the theory about him losing the great eagle bow is true, then him saying “but only because I was winging it.” When telling you that windblight beat him makes that statement less arrogance and more truth lol
About your theory of the falcon bow, not possible since he used great eagle bow in the some payback is in order cutscean
**Tears of the Kingdom spoilers so**
Watching this a year after this was posted, I can’t help but wonder if Teba and Tulin, and Revali were distantly related in some way after all after Tears of the Kingdom.
I ACT LIKE HIM FR
HE WORKED SO HARD FOR HIS POSITION
i respect him so much!!
I though Bow dominance was determined by what eye you lead with, and not your dominant hand
I’ve been told that a few times after posting the video initially. I guess I made a mistake lol
@@LinkedWolf23 well a left side dominant bird is still worth noting so it's not that big of a mistake I guess I'm just pedantic
this makes me want to cry
How is kass not your favorite Zelda character!!???
ÆÆÆÆÆ THIS IS GONNA MAKE ME CRY AGAIN AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
Revalis story is just plain DEPRESSING. like i feel likw crying when i think Abt it
I went from being one Rivali disliker to a Rivali fan. Well done!
another point is that Revali's cockiness is far from mis-placed, considering the fight between him and Link in AoC, frankly, Revali won, don't get me wrong, he had every advantage, but the fact is that Revali had the tactical and combat ability to have won there.
also Revali's SOS signal coming in late is probably because he was the only champion capable of going on the offensive against their blight, if only briefly, so he didn't believe that he would lose until well after the start of the fight *even with* the sheer number of disadvantages he was facing
I have a theory that Revali has the red cheeks because he has something in is past he is unable to let go of, could be related to the identity theory but could also be other things. The desire he has to prove himself, especially to Link does seem a bit childish.
In the memory before the champions leave reveali doesnt have a bow so im guessing he had a backup bow in vah medoh
It's funny he's name is pronounced as rivali and he is Link's rival.
I do archery we don’t shoot like that we shoot depending on our dominant eye not wing/arm
