Tbh the summer of '19 Liquid line-up was something special. It seemed like they were one big group of friends with pure raw talent in what they specialized in. And the pieces of the puzzle all fitted perfectly. - Stewie as one of the very best with getting opening kills with aggro peeks and pushes - Twistzz with insane crisp headshots when needed - Elige with incredible multi-kill spraydowns - NAF with a lot of round winning clutches and being very consistent on the scoreboard - Nitro as a lowkey brilliant diverse AWPer. Include this with the hype of winning majorly big tournaments, they were a force to be reckoned with. No, an almost unstoppable force for whoever was unlucky enough to fall in the same bracket. Man, I enjoyed their streak in that year.

Calling the IGS run pf Liquid a fluke is just wrong imo. You don't win 4 of the most prestigeous tournaments in a row based off of a fluke ^^ I see why people might think that way considering TLs performance in 2020 and late 2019, but a fluke is the wrong term. The addition of stewie just gave them the last piece they needed to succeed at that point of time, but it just wasn't enough for a longterm succession. I still hope (and think) Liquid can be a top5, if not better, team in the world again. Let's see what the comeback of LANs might add to the table :)
