I will endeavour to do more on the game :) I have already thought about a showcase of my minis (or at least some of them) and a better look into the rulebook
Great video Ben. You should show some of your minis off. I'd love to see them. Really excited for the new edition. I hadn't realised the Sarissa terrain range was as large as it is. Another one for the shopping list.
Will get on showcasing some of the miniatures and diving into the rulebook as soon as I can! I deffo need to get my Sarissa terrain out of the bag it's in (somewhere) soon! Thanks for watching :)
havent managed to play the game yet, but have been collecting minis for a while. Easily my absolute favourite miniatures range. Loved the theme of the game since i first discovered it, and being a Redwall fan growing up i knew this was a game i had to get into. Miniatures are an absolute blast to paint, and incredibly "easy" as well. It doesnt take a lot of effort or skill to get these minis looking exactly how you want them too. They are great for "palette cleansing" as well, if youve just been powering through a large project, pick up a couple of these and just enjoy yourself. Alternatively if youre in a bit of a slump and struggling to pick up a brush, i also find these minis are fantastic for getting you back into the swing of things as, like i said, theyre easy to get looking fantastic, and painting a fantastic looking mini and being proud of yourself is a great way to get motivated again
Another source of models is the Woodland Warriors range from Splintered Light miniatures. I have a small collection of them - lovely sculpts by Bob Olley.
I see they are now calling these Hedgerows and Heroes. They are available in Europe from The Little Corporal. I think scaled a bit smaller than the Oathsworn miniatures, so not really compatible, but definitely worth a look.
I’ve never heard you mention this game before 😂 B&B is an excellent game and the minis are easily my favourite model range for painting. Just a dream to work on. Really looking forward to the new edition. Also worth adding in to anyone who is looking at the game for the first time, there are a bunch of fun community made scenarios on the Facebook group too.
@@BecauseOfDragons I'm always creating new warbands. I think it's good fun for players to regularly field a brand new warband, say every three games. They can always go back to an older warband in the subsequent game. Keeps things fresh!
I love the look of the minis! Really cool! Just bought the rulebook as a pdf, so I‘ll give it a read and maybe pick up the new edition in paper form when it is released. Feel free to put up more B&B videos! :)
I always thought Black Friday was a uniquely American consumerism thing. But, I also live in America. Is that wrong? I wouldn’t expect such a sale, and that’s fine by me. The minis are great. My main caveat is I wait until I can hit a good balance so the overseas shipping doesn’t feel so bad.
This is my favourite skirmish game at the moment. The models are awesome, with a good game to back it up. More videos on this gem please.

@@BecauseOfDragons A better look into the rule book would be fantastic!

Totally agree!

They are great yeah - solid option for those looking for other miniatures.

I read every single Redwall book growing up. It would be super fun building a short campaign from one of the books ;)
You could easily do that using Burrows & Badgers and have some fun :)

Deffo a good shout - lots of awesome bits and pieces in the Facebook Group and a genuinely friendly community there too
NIce! I've just realised I've been playing B&B since 2019. Very much looking forward to the new edition 🙂
Awesome - that's a long time burrowing and badgering! It's a fantastic game :) Do you think you'll start a new warband for the new edition?

Thanks for the reminder that a new edition is out next year
Will have to keep an eye out for new previews from Oathsworn in the coming months :)

Excellent - hope you have some fun with the game. Will have to let me know what kind of warband you go for!
Still on a project to do as iv two warband but not got round to painting yet.great vid and started me thinking oooh new shiny stuff.
Awesome - hope you get some time to paint the new minis! The shiny new edition isn't that far off either!
I have my eye on 5 or so, minis. Mostly, pirate themed, i am hoping they put on a Black Friday sale, but it doesn't look like it so far.
Ah a pirate-themed warband would be a great idea. Yeah I don't think they go in for Black Friday but the miniatures are reasonable enough I think :)

❤️🤘🔥👍
I never got a model with my rulebook 😢
You might have ordered it a while back before they started doing the deal? I know the mini is still available separately I think!
What is this game you speak of? And why did it take you so long to make this video? Also: is this game MAW yet?
It is always MAW in my heart haha
@@BecauseOfDragons Let's push it at UKGE 2025! From MAWM to MAWBB!
Lol what? Those models looks 30 years old
...and look absolutely amazing, yep!
