Marvel: Crisis Protocol is a tabletop hobby miniatures game set in the Marvel Universe. Players assemble, paint, and collect an ever expanding line of highly detailed plastic miniatures representing iconic Marvel characters. Players choose characters from their collections to form their own Marvel inspired dream team and then pit their chosen forces against each other on an interactive tabletop where the very terrain itself can be thrown, crashed into, and destroyed during the super powered showdown!
Xceptional healing feels bad being removed, as so many characters are diminished. The best healing factor characters like x-23, etc, are still good, but already weak characters like honeybadger or people like strucker who are a bit squishy... oh, well, they now feel even worse.
But they may rotate back in as they said, so if all of this is a mistake, hopefully, we will see them correct it next year.
I will say that Instant recovery is worse than x-ceptional but, instant recovery still has use and i think it will still see play. The change of after the effect is resolved means that the damage the character takes will be able to pay for the healing so you can be more aggressive with your power usage and instead of negating a big attack or saving your character it is negating a small or mid damaging attack. I also think that Stolen Identity is so much worse that it won't see play where as just the number of healing factor characters will still see use of instant recovery
Really looking forward to the new meta. The first set of 10 cards you showed were real newbie traps. So often I would see new players take them to a tourney and you'd have to tell them to strip them out for things like advanced r&d or eyes on the prize.
My group doesn't play tournaments and doesn't particularly chase the meta [latest characters]. We observe Banned and Updated Cards [sulks in XForce]. Otherwise, we'll probably ignore this rotation although understand why its probably good for the game overall.
These changes will have a huge impact! I am reworking my foes roster now it is going to be interesting.
I hope sentinels mk4's get a rework so that the cost reduction of online and operational actually matters 😁.
Robbery doubling in cost means it is likely turn 2+ card. My concern is they didn't restrict it to foes/criminals so hellfire will just be able to play it easier and without having to interact whereas the others will. Hopefully hellfire gets a roster restriction soon and then it won't be as bad 😂

Most of the rotations seem fair except for smash. It was a crutch propping up dormammu and sentinels affiliations, I reckon they'll head to sub 40% win rates now...
