I was born in Macon. Lived on Ayers Blvd when I was little. My dad still lives there, in Bellvue. I have dreams about that corner store all the time. I haven’t lived there in years though. It’s pretty rough out there.
What shame, Macon could be so beautiful and I have grown to love the historic parts of town. Mercer is trying to put some money into the area, but it’s going to take a little more than money.
