Hi guys! If you're reading this, first of all, thank you for being here ❤ second of all, I'd love to get your feedback on this video. It seems to have garnered a lot of attention and I'm curious to know what you thought was done well/what attracted you to the video, and which aspects of it provided you with the most value. This will really help me to improve the videos I make for you guys in future! Much love 💕
Hi and thank YOU for the content, glad to be on this side of UA-cam! I really enjoyed how concise your points are and specifically how they make me feel more in control of things. Each of the topics can be broken down into a lot, but at their core they are fundamental for health, to the point that if you look at it a certain way it's really just what humans have been doing forever, and only recently ("recently", last 100 or so years) have we lost touch with them. Aside from actual content the rest of what makes the video so good is your cadence in speech, editing, organization....book choices. lol.
Hii, I loved the length of the video, I was watching it in the morning during breakfast. Besides that I think you touched upon a topic that almost everyone can relate with and your hook at the start was also very nice!
You nailed the thumbnail and title. Economy of words, nothing distracting, and then you meet expectations right away in the video. Side note - you should make a video on your skincare routine 🙃
@@RyanJuliano thanks so much for this! really appreciate the feedback 😇 omg haha I'm shocked that people keep asking me about my routine 😂 I've struggled with my skin for ages and tbh the only thing that ever helped me was cleaning up my diet 😩 so there you have it 🥹 (how's that for "economy of words" 😂?)
@@Lizzy_Huys thank you so much for your feedback! i forget that even though YT vids are considered "long form" media, people nowadays gravitate towards shorter/snappier media, esp in this age of reels/tik toks etc. Super glad to hear you enjoyed the video 😇✨
I’ve done all of these. She’s right, and not just for energy but just feeling better. Eat healthy, drink enough water, work out, diet sun exposure, also enough sleep
Another thing a lot of people don’t realise (or maybe know but don’t fully think about) is that eating more food will give you more energy. If you’re not eating enough, on a diet, limiting your intake, you will feel tired.
in brief: The video provides evidence-based strategies to combat chronic tiredness. I really appreciate the amount of minimalized and effecient knowledge that you've provided in this video, which is not overwhelming but instead reaches us in a righteous way. ❤ . Thank you for your research!
what most people don’t realise is the energy level plays a major role. From what we consume as fuel to the quality of our body to process and generate the energy efficiently. Just by being aware of this existence just enough to make us feel better. ❤ great topic, relatable, informative and educational 💯👌🏻🤓
It would be really helpful to include the actual study PMIDs if you're going to say your tips are evidence based. I'm a registered dietitian, so I'm particularly interested to see the PMIDs for Tip #1.
They probably don't exist, she just mention a Netflix documentary, I mean she is right in some things but you can't affirm that a only plant based diet will give you more energy than a Paleo diet or a diet that focuses on fattening glucose spikes for example
As exvegan I am convinced that all the positive outcomes from that diet come from eating way healthier in comparison to whatever people ate before the change. Eggs and meat are super nutritious! Just stopping consumption of sodas/juices, fast / processed food, adding whole grains and lots of veggies will give the same positive results
This is facts. A lot of health benefits derived from a vegan diet leading to a subjective increase in energy levels can actually be attributed to the vegans being more health-conscious as opposed to the meat eating crowd (usually the general public). If you compare a health-conscious vegan and a health-conscious meat eater you'd probably find that none of the two is more healthy than the other.
100%. I think whether or not you chose to eat animal proteins doesn't matter as much as cutting processed foods and added sugars. Since I cut these things I feel 80% more energetic and I definitely LOVE a nice grass-fed steak once a week! Whole food is the key :)
Eggs and meat also make you OLD. :) Just google "meat inflammatory" or "eggs blood pressure". Or watch Dr. Greger's videos . They are the most evidence based infos you can get, and he talks a lot about the cons of meat, eggs and dairy. (NutritionFacts, here on YT) As for "super nutritious“: yet, all the so-called "super foods" are plants, right? ;) I am almost 50, and vegan for 11 years. I run marathons, and play (and win) basketball games against 25 year olds. All my meat and egg loving friends look at least 5 years older than me.
Hi guys! Sources/articles have been added to the video's description if you'd like to do some further reading :) Really appreciate all the in-depth discussions being had in the comments. Although I'd highly encourage the tips that I've outlined in this video, equally, I'm also a firm believer in not taking everything you see/hear/read at face value, and to ensure that you investigate further into things before ultimately making an informed decision for yourself, especially when it comes to your diet/lifestyle. These tips have worked really well for me so far which is why I wanted to share them with the UA-cam community! :) I do acknowledge, however, that they may not be as effective for some people, especially those with specific health conditions/impairments associated with chronic tiredness. Anyhow, if you're reading this, thank you for being here and for supporting the channel. Hope you have a great day ahead! ❤
I really appreciate the way you present yourself in front of the camera. Your informative content is also very helpful. Thank you for sharing your knowledge with us.
When I don’t eat a lot, eating smaller portions really helped me feel more energized. It’s only when I eat a lot, like you said, bad foods, I feel terrible and lazy.
Me too , I used to eat things like spaghetti and garlic toast for lunch , needless to say my entire body did not have any interest in going back to work I Just wanted to sleep.
Sleeping a simulator amount like you do naturally like on vacation is also very important. I thought 7h is enough but with 8-9 h I feel more relaxed and focused
its less about time and more about where you are in your sleep cycle. Thats why sometimes you can wake up after a really long nap/sleep like 9-10 hours and still feel tired because you woke up in the middle of your sleep cycle. But other times you can sleep 6 hours and wake up with energy.
As a 35+ years old, with chronic illness , 3 surgeries ( with 2 hip replaced) , inflammations etc , basically anything y' all can think of, I HAVE MORE energy than the younger ones ( music festivals completely sober, i destroy them in energy level LMAOOO ) , I couldn't take advice from my rheumatologist so I TURN To youtube and Andrew Huberman, but here are my TOP TIPS that work for ME and I had to go through trial and errors man, : 1.LESS ALCOHOL (noticed I i didn't say no alcohol. we're human come on, I need that buzz lol ) , which turn to 2. BETTER SLEEP ( YOu do need good mattress and pillow and good temperature , which turn to 3. WAKING UP in a good fkn mood - ( while youre in a good mood, push up or whatever, but move that body baby), 4. no caffeine only until after 1h30 - 2 hours of waking up , 5. Do try Keto- carnivore , keto-vore just to see how you feel, it's a tool, not the BEST THING EVER ( sorry vegan Tika ), it reduces inflammation and produce ketones etc etc , 5. eat bettterr food ( tied to number 1 less alcohol so less junkfood binge! ) , KEEPS me SATIATE FOR SO LONG SO IM NOT ALWAYS EATING - DIGESTING! and burn VISERAL FAT MAN without doing ANYTHING. 6. change your routine , say you work all day, you come home, don't just go straight to your computa and watch a movie bruvvvv, you'll probably get tired supa fast LMAOOOO , I can go on and on but this has kept me away from PILLS AND INJECTIONS, ( OFF MEDS NOW ) and back to driving my manual car ,!!!!!!! 7. Kinda tied to #1 - but try not to DOPAMINE-DROP-STACK + Decision Fatigue! aka mindless scrolling for HOURS + junkfood + sugary drinks, alcohol in hands + ovethinking and making tons of decisions at the same time ( exemple, you eat shyte food and you're thinkin at the same time what you gon wear tomorrow + why you're so bad at being a leader + comparing yourself aka self-sabotage WHILE munching on the DOMINOES PIZZA BRUVV ) 8. DO SUBCRIBE TO this lovely lady TIKA GHAFAR if you found value in HER videos!! she inspired me to actually write this, i never write sh!t on the Internet cause enghrish iznt my f1st language. -.-
You Sir, should start your own UA-cam channel! 😂🤗💪 thank you for taking the time to share your personal experiences! And super glad that this video prompted you to do so 😇 hope you enjoy the rest of the content! Take care and wishing for your continued good health ✨
eating low carb / canivore + fruit or even keto is definitely a game changer. Be careful though about carb / sugar withdrawals (my anxiety went through the roof)
@@evindrews did you perhaps cut out highly processed foods when you made that change, so that could be the actual key? - carbs both fuel the muscles and make them stay around for longer without training and make strength increases come a lot easier if you exercise.
@@Mudkipz123I did a dirty low carb diet and had similar positive results. The lowest I ever pushed my carb intake was 50 net. My diet was so carb rich tho, just eliminating one or two carby foods did wonders for me.
Hey, loved the video. Rice or other foods with ''fast glucose'' can be actually made healthier by adding veggies or health fats, because they slow down the absorption of glucose, thus there is not a high glucose spike and crash.
Thank you so much for making this video, Tika. You gave some wonderful, sound tips and this video is a great reminder of how just covering the basics like diet, hydration and exercise can make a huge difference in how we feel. We so often eat junk and don't drink enough, etc. and are left wondering why our energy is so low. I wanted to also point out though, that if someone is suffering from chronic low energy which doesn't seem to go away, then it's probably a good idea to speak to a healthcare practitioner and get a blood test done to rule out possible anemia, thyroid issues or other problems that could be at the root of the fatigue. Again, thank you for the well-researched content, and looking forward to seeing more videos of yours in the future!
Listen to this while working, this video is so nourished with so many informations. The video is so rich and flawless as same as your skin. Drop your skincare and makeup secrets as well ✨
Interestingly, I had to give up being vegan because it caused a lot of fatigue for me. So, I think it is important to note that it really depends on your body and blood composition. Some people need those nutrients from meat and dairy, others do not.
"Vegan" can mean a lot of things. In my 11 years of living plant based, I had sluggish times because of a lot of vegan junk food - and I felt like a 20 year old, in my mid 40s (including playing basketball on a high level, and running a marathon), when I was an (almost) raw food vegan. There is no "body" who is not "made" for a vegan lifestyle. …no offense, but: what magical nutrients are there in meat and dairy, that you can‘t get (enough) as a vegan? :)
Its true that people's bodies are different but there are no magical specific nutrients in meat and dairy that you can't get from elsewhere. Some people know how to effectively get them, others do not.
You are exactly right , I have always been anaemic and rarely consume any form of junk food.Whenever i have to be vegetarian for religious reasons, I always felt exhausted so for me being vegan is a big no2 so it does depend on everyone's body.
Great tips! Simple so it’s making some older people mad, but honestly these same simple things have always made the biggest difference in my energy when I prioritize them ❤❤
Tips:- 1. Eat better foods. 1. Studies shown that : ‘ packaged and processed food tend to make people feel heavy and sluggish. ‘ 2. Eat less processed food eat whole food 2. Hydrate yourself properly 3. Move your body 1. More sleep == more energy 4. Sunlight = serotonin
I'm glad to see that I actually put all the tips in practice. I have depression, it all really helps. But I think my level of depression is too high, I needed to take medicine so all the natural good practices could work!
so true, I work night shifts and oh boy I am tired physically and mentally. Used to work 18 hours a day at a hospital, had crazy shifts, came home really TIRED.
I mean obviously. It’s impossible to not be tired with that lifestyle. But even there the nutrition can make a huge difference. But everyone would be tired to some level, we physically can’t change that.
i really need to eat healthier foods ... im taking it step by step, i recently finally fixed my sleep schedule and i consistently wake up at 8 am now and i've also started running my day-to-fay life based on a calendar (greatly improved my productivity!) ... but now i want to exercise more and eat healthier... so thank you for this video!
All people are different. Some of the people I know can live off of grains and porrige and feel energized through the day, you say you felt more full of energy without meat just eating more vegetables etc I personally and not only me need meat to live. I had enough parts of my life where I couldn't afford meat in any form and have eaten only whole foods as you said - whole potatoes, veggies all natural as it's cheap where I'm from and I had no money at the time and I was alwayds tired, energyless and depressed. A little piece of meat with bread or/and salad can make me feel energized for half a day and the difference is fantastic. And if I eat porrige for breakfast I feel acidic and am instantly hungry. So yeah, we all are built individually. The commonplace is just to eat less processed foods.
I'm 42 and I always have a ton of energy no matter what I eat. My mindset and positive affirmations give me all of the energy that I need and more. I've always had a ton of energy as a vegan and also as a carnivore. Diet means nothing to me. I have a ton of energy no matter what since thats what I program my mind to attract with the law of attraction. Be blessed!
Talk about toxic unrealistic expectations lmao. Being tired is a normal and natural phenomenon within humans after a long day of physically strenuous or cognitive work, hell even hard workouts will make you massively tired afterwards (possibly for days). The tips in this video are decent, but to set the premise that it is possible to never feel tired by specifically naming that the title of this video is pretty wild. You can perfectly regulate your hydration levels, meet your caloric and nutrient needs, sleep the perfect amount, workout and get fit and STILL get (chronically) tired for any unforeseen reason. Yes, even you, the content creator. Sidenote: If you make a video claiming evidence-based tips it might be a reasonable idea to at least cite some sources
The sunlight exposure part is so true, I live in a place with lots of chicks and when the sun is not out they never move or make noise as much as when it is. It's the same with insects such as butterflies which inspired the solar panel. If you think about it, the sunlight is literally a form of energy(solar energy)
So all this lifehacks about how to feel more energized during the day and while mentioning the dehydration you didn't even say a word about it causing temporarily lowered blood pressure (to the point of hypotensia) and lowered blood perfusion in your tissues including the brain. Other tips are pretty solid, though I'm a bit sceptical about the vegan diet, there are so many contradictory informations about which diet is the healthiest. Also totally agree about the sunlight influence. I would also add that supplementation of vitamin D during time of the year when there's much less natural sunlight (like winter or fall) helps a ton, since without sunlight your body can't synthetize vitamin D sufficiently, and its influence on our energy levels is HUGE and can't be overlooked.
It's great, you gain your energy and share with us the tipps. But remember, you are young. I could write "thats it", but it is not all, it is the base, but it is a huge base. The older we get, the more tired we get. And it is OK. We cannot compete the time. Just embrace it.
I’ve implemented all of these tips into my life over the last 3 years and I can 100% confirm that it makes a huge difference. Specially the vegan nutrition.
Thanks for the video, Tika. I'd recommend showing a picture of the sources being sited in the video as well as a corner pop up with the source itself. Would be a great addition!
Kind of the most basic information I have ever heard... The thing is, most people know this but either have obstacles (aka they lack the privilege to do these things) or do not want to. Still, good to have these points reiterated!
Great video! The youtube algorithm is boosting this on related content. I just noticed this channel is super new and just getting started. :O Great stuff, and good luck growing the channel with all the helpful advice.
Congrats on the strong start to your channel Tika! I was surprised to see that you've only been posting for a month. Keep up the good work! Great video and thanks for the tips 😎
When I was a teenager training martial arts a lot I discovered if I ate meat I felt heavy and sluggish, so I turned vegetarian and then later vegan. I definitely had more time and energy to train after changing my eating. I don't think most people realize how much energy and time it takes to digest a chunk of meat. This is aside from the other benefits....
"More sleep equals more energy" @5:48. Sleep is the number one rejuvenator for energy and mood; I probably would've started off with this one. I definitely support anyone wanting to treat themselves and the planet better. I'm just concerned the margin of error for vegans to consistently get all their essential proteins seems low or unforgiving.
Personally, I tried the healthy vegan diet a few years ago. I felt really healthy, my skin got super glowy, but I got really bad brain fog. That was unacceptable for me siince I study a lot, but if I didnt require that high level of focus, it would have been great.
You might have needed to supplement omega 3 fatty acids veg + vegans unless they’re getting it from diet(walnuts, cashews, nuts ), will need to supplement.
It whas the same for me. 4 years ago I went vegan, after 9 months I quit, because of brain fog and hair loss. I ate healthy, also lots of nuts and seeds . Also took vitamins and supplements, I think every body is different.
In one of your videos you said that humans were born athletes and that we walked marathons to get food, the food before were generally meat based, so I doubt very much that study that being vegetarian better in feeling slower.
How are you falling asleep when you do not feel tired? In my case, I have a hard time falling asleep if i am not feeling tired. Later I found the cold bath is good to help getting to sleep. So I now have better sleep throughout the night.
I’m not sure if it will help you but I found that effectively treating my brain like a toddler helped me to go to sleep on time. By this is mean implementing a strict bed time routine that started an hour to hour and half before I go to bed. And the steps stay the same each night. I’m the type of person who before the routine would only sleep when I’m as complete exhausted and couldn’t keep my eyes open any longer. But I started being more intentional about my night routine. Each night at about 8ish I eat dinner. Then I put my phone in a phone lock box I bought on Amazon and set it on a timer to lock for 8 hours. Then I have a shower. Then I brush my teeth and wash my face. Then I change into my night clothes. Then I do a quick 5 minute tidy up of my bedroom with a timer. Then I read in my bed for 30-45 minutes and then I do a sleep meditation that I have on a cd player. Then I put my eye mask on to block all light. Then try to tense all the muscles in my body one at a time starting from my toes and going to my neck. Then I attempt to drift off and just let my mind wander. Usually at this point I fall asleep without realising.
Different things work for different people, I feel my best and have higher energy levels when i don’t deprived myself of any food ☺️ But def helps too for me to drink water and get moving 🔥😀
i have two hours a day to myself after college, work and all the commute and i barely have the energy after all this... in those two hours i have to ft my LDR boyfriend and i almost drop dead in bed everyday without having dinner because i have to wakeup early the next day.. i wish i had limitless energy atp imma try these
The Game Changer documentary is not really a documentary. It’s a movie designed to make you vegan/vegetarian. So they cherry pick weak studies or flat out lie. To be honest, the reason you probably felt better is because you simultaneously cut out processed foods. If you were being vegetarian/vegan with those same processed food, you would’ve definitely not noticed a big difference cutting out meat. Unfortunately, the vegan diet change glow wears off after a while because of the long term average nutritional deficits. You have to work very hard to eat a balanced meal and supplement what is missing. The food sources you’re using for certain nutrients are not as easy to digest/absorb from the food product.
Sis, im tryin to be vegan but it feels different when i eat egg n chicken a bit almost every day, could you help us with this... it feels im lacking something if im not eating some eggs n chicken or fish or meat a little on my diet 🙏🙏 Thanks for the video Sis, i just recently been watching a lot about glucose spike n it syncs a lot with your video and it does give lots of benefits to me.. 🙏🙏
@@soulgarden1111 ok, thanks, i am going there slowly, maybe fish, egg, milk, but no meat, just started trying the last few weeks after watching some videos on the animals, planning to go slowly n gradually, wish all the best 4 U n Family, friend 🙏😊😊🙏
@@jasonjason1196 Yeah i didnt mean to but i went really slowly...cut out everything but fish for some years, then slowly cut out dairy and eggs...then watched some videos for motivation to go vegan ("why i dont support the dairy industry") by gary y. Now Ive been fully vegan for 5y...going slow like this dosnt shock the body at all. Since alot of it is mental start with vegan subs to the foods you love and only then go fully whole foods if you desire but dont be so strict with health foods especially at first or it wont be easy. Watching vids for motivation is key if you hope to be truely vegan for the animals-i feel this is the only way to stick to it in this society as well. Plant based is proven better for longterm health-alot of fear and myths surrounding it is based off incorrect assumptions and the mental notions we try so hard to hold onto as well as pure food addiction lol. Also "placebo effect" is actually very powerful. If its seared into your head that veganism does this or that then you find it will. Watching inspiring vegan content like game changers. It's not the easiest thing at first but once you get use to it and learn about all the benefits, it becomes natural and you just need to get into a routine that feels good for you and be strong enough to say no to greed and corruption for those without good intentions. Thank you, all the best to you as well! 🌞
@soulgarden1111 absolutely agree! You can absolutely get all the nutrients you need from a fully plant-based diet and there's been loads of studies to support that it's more beneficial to your health (given you stick to whole foods, unprocessed, ensure appropriate balance etc). Thanks for sharing some inspirational resources to look at to! My go-to would have to be "Vegan Propaganda" by Ed Winters. Amazing resource. He also has a UA-cam channel which is great! All the best to you both on your vegan diet journeys! 🥰💞😇 @jasonjason1196
@@soulgarden1111 yup, totally agree with all you said, it's definitely mental and habit, also agree that if i do it too fast i might fail it totally after a week or so.. but i think i can do it slowly like u did. if you eat white rice with rice vinegar the spikes wouldn't be so big, they would be more stable, especially if you eat some greens and proteins before hand.
I work 35 hours a week and I stupidly developed a habit of not eating at work, (it was covid then Invisalign then not finding a place to sit in the cafeteria… ik stupid reasons) but I would go home exhausted, drained, with zero energy. And the rest of my day goes by without me doing anything, and it was horrible. And then I started eating at work and now I get home and I do a workout immediately, whereas, in the past I only worked out on the weekends, that is if I actually did work out which was rare. So yeah I learned that if you don’t eat and starve yourself and then eat later you’re gonna walk around like a zombie. Plus I would go home too drained to even cook so I would just order food and it was just a messy journey.
I was a vegetarian for 19 years, and after I started eating meat and fish again I feel so much better and way less tired. I realized my body was doing poorly because it wasn’t getting enough protein, I was eating both egg and milk products and lots of other protein rich foods like beans and lentils as a vegetarian, but my body just wasn’t really getting enough anyway and I also became infertile and couldn’t get pregnant. Now I’m eating fish and meat and my body loves it! I also got my fertility back! I otherwise like healthy foods so whole grain breads and vegetables, my energy levels are really good. So you definitely don’t need to be vegan or vegetarian to be getting more energy in your life, just cut down on sugar and bad types of fat and fine wheat products and you’ll be golden ✨
yes exactly! i did not eat meat, fish and a few dairy products for a few months and i was always feeling tired plus a few vitamin levels like iron, biotin and b12 decreased. If you go vegan you should definetly research and eat stuff that contains the amount of vitamins equivalent to those in meat, dairy etc.
You'd also be surprised how many people are totally out of tune with their own sleep needs. The (persistent) ads for the sleep tracker Rise go something like "I thought 6 hours of sleep every day was enough, but with Rise I learned I had 25 hours of sleep debt" and I'm baffled that this is their marketing strategy... like, duh, even if it's good quality, most adults need 7-8 hours, some even more, so if you're tired most days and you only sleep 6 hours, maybe your first step should be trying to get a little more sleep...?
great video! i follow the same diet as you, i wanted to cut out all the processed foods, i was just wondering do you still have plant milks? as i know they can be filled with additives
You are never 'tired' because you don't work a stressful or difficult job, are on your feet all day for 10 -12 hours, and you are very young. I bet you don't have kids either. Parenthood is a very different life. Being tired IS normal. You are going to get tired - that is how your body works. It is a sign you need to rest. Being fatigued is a different thing entirely. The two terms are NOT interchangeable.
Nah, there are so many teens and twenty-somethings that feel terrible, have no energy, and are en route to chronic physical issues from zero exercise, awful diets, gaming all nighters, sugary energy drinks etc. Some of my peers are struggling more than healthy people in their 40s and it’s kind of scary.
Never would have thought if I put down the potato chips and foods with an ingredients list full of unpronounceable items that I would actually start to feel a change for the better in my body :O (coming from an intensely sarcastic vegan)

Thanks! Was looking for exactly this
Thank you. Now I can turn the sound off. I only wanted to watch this pretty girl anyway.

Agree! I'm also studying nutrition, and would like to have the studies/books where she learned the tips from :)
I’d also love sources/links! I love reading nutrition literature
Just google it
Yesss!
Thank you, that is so true!
100%. I think whether or not you chose to eat animal proteins doesn't matter as much as cutting processed foods and added sugars. Since I cut these things I feel 80% more energetic and I definitely LOVE a nice grass-fed steak once a week! Whole food is the key :)
huh, why'd you stop being vegan if u don't mind me asking?
Eggs and meat also make you OLD. :)
Just google "meat inflammatory" or "eggs blood pressure".
Or watch Dr. Greger's videos . They are the most evidence based infos you can get, and he talks a lot about the cons of meat, eggs and dairy.
(NutritionFacts, here on YT)
As for "super nutritious“: yet, all the so-called "super foods" are plants, right? ;)
I am almost 50, and vegan for 11 years. I run marathons, and play (and win) basketball games against 25 year olds.
All my meat and egg loving friends look at least 5 years older than me.
Hi guys! Sources/articles have been added to the video's description if you'd like to do some further reading :)
Really appreciate all the in-depth discussions being had in the comments.

Yes!!! Glad I'm not the only one who felt this way. Eating less made me feel more full and energized!!!
Same. But as a woman with natural menstrual cycle, I feel the natural need to eat a little more in my luteal phase
I loved finding your channel, Tika! Thank you and hug from Brazil 🥰
As a 35+ years old, with chronic illness , 3 surgeries ( with 2 hip replaced) , inflammations etc , basically anything y' all can think of, I HAVE MORE energy than the younger ones ( music festivals completely sober, i destroy them in energy level LMAOOO ) ,
I couldn't take advice from my rheumatologist so I TURN To youtube and Andrew Huberman, but here are my TOP TIPS that work for ME and I had to go through trial and errors man, :
1.LESS ALCOHOL (noticed I i didn't say no alcohol. we're human come on, I need that buzz lol ) , which turn to
2. BETTER SLEEP ( YOu do need good mattress and pillow and good temperature , which turn to
3. WAKING UP in a good fkn mood - ( while youre in a good mood, push up or whatever, but move that body baby),
4. no caffeine only until after 1h30 - 2 hours of waking up ,
7. Kinda tied to #1 - but try not to DOPAMINE-DROP-STACK + Decision Fatigue! aka mindless scrolling for HOURS + junkfood + sugary drinks, alcohol in hands + ovethinking and making tons of decisions at the same time ( exemple, you eat shyte food and you're thinkin at the same time what you gon wear tomorrow + why you're so bad at being a leader + comparing yourself aka self-sabotage WHILE munching on the DOMINOES PIZZA BRUVV )
8. DO SUBCRIBE TO this lovely lady TIKA GHAFAR if you found value in HER videos!! she inspired me to actually write this, i never write sh!t on the Internet cause enghrish iznt my f1st language. -.-

eating low carb / canivore + fruit or even keto is definitely a game changer.

Usually when I say I am tired, I don’t mean sleep-tired. I just have enough of what is currently going on in my life.
@@teagami very well said. :)
@@teagamiexactly!!
You are exactly right , I have always been anaemic and rarely consume any form of junk food.Whenever i have to be vegetarian for religious reasons, I always felt exhausted so for me being vegan is a big no2 so it does depend on everyone's body.
Great tips! Simple so it’s making some older people mad, but honestly these same simple things have always made the biggest difference in my energy when I prioritize them ❤❤
Tips:-
1. Eat better foods.
1. Studies shown that : ‘ packaged and processed food tend to make people feel heavy and sluggish. ‘
2. Eat less processed food eat whole food
2. Hydrate yourself properly
3. Move your body
1. More sleep == more energy
4. Sunlight = serotonin
When I first found you, I thought you were underrated.slowly you're getting the recognition you deserve ❤
I'm glad to see that I actually put all the tips in practice. I have depression, it all really helps. But I think my level of depression is too high, I needed to take medicine so all the natural good practices could work!
You’re never tired because you don’t work a job that requires you to be on your feet for 8+ hours everyday adding minimum to no breaks.
so true, I work night shifts and oh boy I am tired physically and mentally. Used to work 18 hours a day at a hospital, had crazy shifts, came home really TIRED.
I mean obviously. It’s impossible to not be tired with that lifestyle. But even there the nutrition can make a huge difference. But everyone would be tired to some level, we physically can’t change that.
Not to mention 'tired' and 'fatigued' are tow entirely different things.
true lmfaooo
not to mention she's twenty-something ;)
this video is so underrated! thank you bestie!
i really need to eat healthier foods ... im taking it step by step, i recently finally fixed my sleep schedule and i consistently wake up at 8 am now and i've also started running my day-to-fay life based on a calendar (greatly improved my productivity!) ... but now i want to exercise more and eat healthier... so thank you for this video!
You started a month ago... Aww... This is so heartwarming. I'm rooting for you.
I'm happy to see "Something Deeply Hidden" among the selection of books, in the background (:
I love how she clearly speaks
I went vegan 8 years ago and this was a huge game changer for me! Also moving 💯💯
Be blessed!
I’m happy for you! One’s perspective can certainly play a big role in their energy levels from my experience!
How do you do that?
Loved this, Tika! Keep going :D
I would also add that supplementation of vitamin D during time of the year when there's much less natural sunlight (like winter or fall) helps a ton, since without sunlight your body can't synthetize vitamin D sufficiently, and its influence on our energy levels is HUGE and can't be overlooked.
thankyou, i have seen that i have become alot more energetic after i set up a morning routine, that is, yoga and no phone until i complete it.
Lol, vegan is terrible

Quitting dairy products changed my life and my health in so many levels too.
Wow! That's really amazing. I have a lot of tips taken from this video. Nice!

Tika love you ❤
Personally, I tried the healthy vegan diet a few years ago.
@@Christina.N. personally I wouldn't opt for a diet which doesn't give me all the essential nutrients.
@@Christina.N. eating a tbsp or so of flaxseed, hempseed, or a quarter cup of walnuts is easy everyday
@@sugarasha it's easy to meet nutrients with a vegan diet; people just make excuses to opt for convenience
It whas the same for me. 4 years ago I went vegan, after 9 months I quit, because of brain fog and hair loss. I ate healthy, also lots of nuts and seeds . Also took vitamins and supplements, I think every body is different.
In one of your videos you said that humans were born athletes and that we walked marathons to get food, the food before were generally meat based, so I doubt very much that study that being vegetarian better in feeling slower.
hell yeah let's see why mitski is never tired
How are you falling asleep when you do not feel tired? In my case, I have a hard time falling asleep if i am not feeling tired. Later I found the cold bath is good to help getting to sleep. So I now have better sleep throughout the night.
Because she doesn’t have an 8+hour job that requires her to be on her feet everyday.
Next: How to eat healthy vegan meals when grocery inflation is SO fierce, (vs. less prep/cook time bc working more hours to keep up) 😴👏🏽👽

Can I know info about the mic you are using?
That’s great I met you❤
Thank you mam for this very informative and "simple to do/follow steps" video😊

Probablly a mental thing; vegan diet can provide all the nutrients you need.

@soulgarden1111 absolutely agree! if you eat white rice with rice vinegar the spikes wouldn't be so big, they would be more stable, especially if you eat some greens and proteins before hand.
I had so many fertility issues for 10 years, switched to carnivore and within a year am now pregnant
so what are you saying there is no way and we just have to get used to being tired
amazing content!
thank you
Yes. Mitochondria is the powerhouse of the cell.
So what do we eat then everything is processed 😭
not me watching this at 3am while eating instant noodles 🙃
great video! i follow the same diet as you, i wanted to cut out all the processed foods, i was just wondering do you still have plant milks? as i know they can be filled with additives

aw thank you so much! this absolutely made my day. glad you enjoyed the content 😊 more videos to come!
The two terms are NOT interchangeable.
you are making a lot of assumptions and invalidating others' struggles
to be honest i think sleep is a comfort but tired wares people out. i want to be tired at times it seems
You forgot tip #5: be in your 20's
Nah, there are so many teens and twenty-somethings that feel terrible, have no energy, and are en route to chronic physical issues from zero exercise, awful diets, gaming all nighters, sugary energy drinks etc.
