I can not relate to either the Tyranid nor the alien statements but your second favorite hobby being "irresponsibly start projects that I don't have the time nor the means to finish" is relatable af ♥ Started 5 different things last month and only one is done as we start a new month
Anglegrinding metal without safety glasses??? Dangit you're making me manifest my inner high school shop class teacher /smacks your hand with a wooden ruler
It’s inspirational to see you just start a project and finish it eventhough life gets in the way. So many of my projects never even start because I’m not sure if I’ll be able to pull through. You show that it’s possible when you set your mind to it.
The angle grinder on metal with no safety glasses nearly made my drop my coffee. But seriously dude, safety glasses ffs. That thing could have fired metal into your eyeball at warp 10. You've made me turn into my dad. 😂
Trent this was so good. Thank you for letting us in on these past projects. I wanted to tell you that your videos specifically have helped me through such a tough time in my life. I was raised to believe that letting out my creativity wasn't valuable or worth investing in, and I've been on a journey to rekindle that flame in myself. You have played such a major role in inspiring me and giving me practical ways to "take the plunge" and try letting out my creativity. Thank you for your kindness and your work. Cheers!
As a former architecture student I remember getting into projects and working through the night to dawn deadlines. Seems all creatives have that experience. Keep up the great work.
From a lore perspective it amazes me that the Hive Mind had never encountered another civilisation or species that was as colossal as 40k’s Titans in a previous galaxy - the Imperium forcing the Hive Mind the dream up something massive to directly fight the Titans
You are my spirit brother. I don't know how many times I have been just sitting and staring into space when inspiration strikes because something isn't where it should be lol. Amazing project!
Biotitan Skittery Robbo is clearly based on the least terrifying Australian insect, the Lesser Gribbling Skullrobber -- which subsists entirely on a diet of cigarette ends and stolen Bunnings snags, and nests in the craniums of those unfortunate souls killed in the seasonal drop bear spree attacks -- and not on anything from the utterly dreadful _Alien 4: The Moistening_
The clunks and thunks the parts make when you set them down is so satisfying. When you said "because I didn't finish" I thought you were about to put it in a forever box to be forgotten to myth before the chaos of the universe caused to you happen across it down the line and start again 😅 The finished model reminds me so much of back in the day of 3rd party counts-as models. Like back during 5th when GW would put stuff in the codex that wouldnt have a model for years. Before you started gluing it together, it looked like it was perfect broken up for making molds. Not sure if that was intentional or youve just gotten to that point of habit.
“My second favorite hobby is to irresponsibly start projects that I don’t have the time nor the means to finish” I felt that deep in my core. 😅 Am I the only one who enjoyed Alien resurrection. I know it’s bad but that’s kinda of why I like it.
As far as the Alien films go, I feel like Alien is the best one but Alien: Resurrection is on of my favorites to watch, it's so dumb. Also, I finally fixed my printer after two partially failed attempts at printing Bloodgut Knuckledragger so with luck once I get more filament that'll work out. In the meantime I've been doing Turnip28 kitbashes
Probably "grandmother to suck eggs" but. The Issue with the scanner maybe: 1. the surface finish of the part. Try Spray ur parts with a matt/ more matt paint. 2. Could also be the ambient light in the room, try to keep to a minimum. Also thanks for the videos, enjoy ur work.
Knead-it fucking rules, who needs a plausible work-window when you've got something that sets rock hard and can be worked like discount stone afterwards?
Okay so, I never really commented your videos because I thought I had nothing extraordinary to share. Except now. You just gave me a lot of motivation to pursue my Tyranid army which is... Alien Themed : full black with variations on the chitin to give it a bit of presence, silver claws, saliva dripping Alien Tyranids. So thank you, I see I'm not the only one with this sort of lubbies. I hope I can share with you the pictures of my finished army or even its progress if you're interested!
Dude, that's incredible!! Geneuinely one fo your best builds; I hope you scanned or moulded this beautiful beast before becoming the centre piece of a gigantic hive! At least the prop department smashed it on the Alien franchise like the clone experiments!), shame about the srcript writing 😂

The xenomorph costume in the first Alien film has an actual human skull in the mask. Like, not even a replica one, so your choice is pretty spot on!
I FORGOT ABOUT THIS. I heard it on a podcast once. Man. I wish I remembered.
hey that costume looks great wer did you get the fake skull from
dont worry about it by the way when would you like your shovel back
That’s the Geigeriest thing I’ve ever heard

Love that triumphant surge of music when the cleaning begins, always an astonishing victory cleaning a workspace
Incredible work, man. That big bastard is going to make some Tyranid player somewhere _very_ happy.
I am a tyranid fan. And I am _very_ happy

Oh man, viv is such a dude! I remember visiting viv and his bro at knights of dice and buying laser cut mdf kits. Such a nice guy!
Love it!
Thankyou!

Yessss, Trent! You are a master of starting new projects and bringing them to their absolute apex! Bloody hell, brother. You have got a gift, indeed.
Thankyou!!
I’m soooo obsessed with those legs. It looks great

Wow that look awesome I really love the first 2 alien films. This tyranid just ad both of my favourite type aliens creatures.

Nothing like procrasticleaning to start a power session haha
hahahah you know me to well
woah that came out looking sick dude!
Thank you!
I laughed too hard at ‘Brain Juice’. 😂. Looks awesome Trent, great work!
Crazy! The black resin is an amazingly idea, it looks sick. How did you end up attaching the legs?
permanently with resin hah :(
Haha that works too I guess! 😂@@Miscast
that looks sick, my friend
I'd love that "miniature" but my cats would destroy it. They have eaten my zombie dragon... 4 times I think.
Not going to build a Alien themed Tyranid army you say? hmm I'm not sure if I believe that
No, nope, nope no, maybe, no.
As far as the Alien films go, I feel like Alien is the best one but Alien: Resurrection is on of my favorites to watch, it's so dumb. Good luck! Printers suck sometimes. Awesome to hear about Turnip!
So I think I'm about to start crafting a bit more chaotically soon. Need to learn to sculpt my first minis XD
I have a box of 'getting my life together' as well. I've named her Pandora.
You can use an eraser tip and carve it to shape for use as a sculpting tool
I'll try this!

Trenaaaaa AND Alien? This is a good day (Also you need lil oven mitts, friend).
im always going to read the title as "I made a bloody big Tyranid".
Wow, this looks so awesome
Thankyou!!
Amazing build. Someone's probably already asked but what is your favourite movie?
*It's XENOvember!*
I'm getting lucky with these months

Well, that is pretty neat!!!
I have a spare pasta roller if you wanna pick it up
Thanks Bill, always there when I need ya
The hive mind really has spoilt us today
One of your best models damn
Thankyou!
Maybe trying finding a stand mixer pasta attachment if you can't a pasta roller by itself?
interesting idea!
I wonder how the joints will hold up * fingers crossed *
