Trust me, when you racing, you won't notice any graphic difference from both games. The most different thing from them is the physics, the feels when you braking and accelerating. I played both, and GP20 is harder, a lot of stoppies and slides
Oh, my Valentino Rossi the game still has some problems, the acceleration is too slow and braking too strong, sometime make me slower than someone, i don't know why
I have both, 19 is a bit harder because it’s easier to crash going into a corner where bikes will slide in much more in 20. As an ex racer 19 is more realistic. The ai is also more realistic in 19, it has its moments but in 20 it will often initiate banzai moves and take you out. You can see other riders suffer tyre wear etc in both games. I like the power maps and fuel aspect in 20 and team management. These are the 2 best moto gp games so far. I have all of them from 13 to 22. Some are saying 23 isn’t that great.

I'm playing 13, VRTG and 19. 13 feels good so far (with some mods applied to make the gamepad actually usable), VRTG is better with content, but the responsiveness for the gamepad (and lack of deadzone modification) is notable and very twitchy. 19 Is awesome (despite not having the managerial career that 17 DID have), but I just can't brake correctly, especially at the last straight in sepang. I'd love to learn how to do a good setup but I'm clueless. I also played 20 but I couldn't stand the stoppies, I'm just not good for sims. Any suggestions?
@@elcobra98 Some things are a bit harder in 19 like riding the Moto 2's (I have to use a manual box) and some things are probably harder in 20. I love both games to be honest but overall 19 is the most realistic, not least because the AI doesn't just ram into you all the time doing moves it has no chance of pulling off. As a base setup I run the geometry settings at minimum with max rebound damping, about half compression. Minimum preload on the front, max rear, half spring hardness front and max rear. In the wet I use stock steering geometry. Depending on the track you will have to tweak settings, getting each gear bang on makes a big difference especially with an auto box. The Ducati is the hardest bike to ride, the Aprillia the slowest on 20 even though the AI adjusts according to which bike you choose. The hotlap times don't lie though if you want to know how good you really are. If you want to be good you have to just keep putting laps in. You can follow ghost in hotlap mode to show the way.
The sound from 19 much much better and more realistic. The graphic too More realistic on the 19 to be honest but it's just the 20 got things smoother and better lighting.
I’ve played moto gp 07, 18, 19, 20, 21 and I’d say 21 looks the best but 19 is my favorite. Pretty good for people just starting. If you start with 21 your gonna not want to play anymore it’s hard to get used to
Well I think riders would have different opinions too. Also if they never played a game before they wouldn't be able to judge the pad feeling, the force feedback (vibration) etc. I think we should stick to the game that gives us the best feeling of fun without caring about realism too much. For me it's ride 3, for some gp19 (that I hate), for some gp20, for some gp bikes, for some gp500 etc
I play GP19 & GP20 with keyboard and for me, GP20 have a better feeling than GP19. It feels like ur riding the bike bcause it feel like touching with the tarmac, not feel like floating
I dont know but i think im still stick with GP19. GP20 seems like not finish yet as a game, a lot of bike models are outdated and what annoy me the most is the sound of KTM, they didn't update that since 2018
I would say that MotoGP 20 is a much better and more realistic game than 19 and all the riding styles look really good i think that 20 is a must buy for MotoGP fans especially if your on PC where you can get it for £20

Plus they will add moto 3 models and the moto-E category in a future update two weeks from now... i think. I need to check the dates on the oficial page of milestone. But what i mean, the game it will be complete with the new season bikes of the current championship in less than a month. Anyways it´s a great game, maybe the best from Milestone to this date. If you liked the MotoGP19 im pretty sure this one will not dissapoint you. PD: i cant wait to see something more of RIDE 4.
You guy's complaining about unfinished do realize they did all this during a quarantine, that's why they haven't updated a lot of things like the riders pictures for instance. All I play is Moto GP games and I spent many hours on 19 and Moto GP 20 is hands down a better game.
At first I thought Gp20 was a bit exaggerated with the bike physics and all but after spending more time on it, I've gotta say that the game has grown on me. Not the biggest of improvements from gp19 but it certainly didn't get worse. I wish they'd rework the rider animations such as the foot positions during max lean and proper upshift/downshift animations but this is just me nitpicking. GP 15 had better rider animations I think.
I think 19 looks better... I only buy an updated version every few seasons rather than every season. All I want now is a handlebar controller that I can tilt!

Example, someone said the sliding needs to be this, they did that in the next instalment and the said person like it and love the game. I know a lot of you ride bikes, but unless any of you have ride an actual GP bike, no, not an equivalent of it, an actual GP bike, you can't say you know how the bike actually behave. And the stoppie when braking hard unrealistic? Gets me the most. People don’t even remember Pirro’s big crash when his brake power was too hard and the rear lifted him off. The gameplay complaints really just come from newbies who have no skill in throttle controlling. Nothing else. It's simple. Stupid simple. The REAL FOOTAGE shows that they start opening the throttle, quite generously too, as soon as the hit the APEX. We see in on telemetry. The rear doesn't go anywere. The rear starts losing grip when the engine starts "peaking" and the transition is very very smooth. That's the main characteristic of the V4 engines. That's why they're all using it. Especially 2stroke bikes in MotoGP20 are absolutelly SHIT. 2 stroke engines make NO POWER at low/mid RPM. It's just a fact. In MotoGP20 they start sliding all over the place as soon as you touch the throttle. Let's just accept that MotoGP20 crap. And if not completely crap, jsut way worse than 19. End of fuckin story.
Every MotoGP game is hated. Almost everyone sticks with 17 but 17 is not that good. I personally love every MotoGP game because it gives me the chance to kinda experience what it's like to be in MotoGP because I will never be a part of the grid. Be grateful for the games they make because they are making them for us
For me, i think MotoGP20 is a step up just a little bit, coz yknow they change the riding styles you can see the difference. Graphics are somewhere a bit neck to neck. My major issues on this 20 game is that rear wheel taking off is a tiny bit exaggerated compared in real life they might wanna bring it a little bit down and avoiding you to do some stoppies, sliding is a tiny bit unrealistic its slides like it does wanna make you crash. Well ive seen how riders in MotoGp slide, it slides like its controllable. Overall MotoGP20 is just good not perfect but i can live with it. Hopefully they’ll bring back how MotoGp17 physics and overall game is sooo close into real life all they can do is just slap all the best graphics they can update the bikes liveries and winglets, new tracks new riders.

If you grab full brake pressure all the way you will do stoppie, just like miguel oliveira on his motogp debut. As sylvain guintoli said, u have to release brake pressure in order to let the rear wheel down, watch his channel. As for sliding, even on my z900, while almost full lean if u give it more than half throttle u will slide. Cant imagine how motogp will slide with that full power. If u dont want to slide, pick the bike up by reducing the lean angle, then gradually increase the throttle. 10 percent of throttle already plenty for first throttle opening. They make it more forgiving because in real life u will highside.
textures are better in 20, bikes sounds are better in 19 (20 sounds looks far), graphics are better in 20, but 19 is not bad at all. Physics are better in 20 i think.

Looking back I can see the year 2017 has better game control physics then the 2018, 2019 and up. But for the dirt versions of this game at year MXGP 2019 and back are way better when it comes to controls but not for graphics but I prefer the game controls over graphics.
This is a great video and will watch more title reviews from you...I have been back & forth between Moto GP 19 / 20 and the more I critique them there is definitely a strong winner - will keep my Moto GP 19 and return my 20 version for some credit...20 does have couple improvements that I can appreciate, but 19 is total package with graphics, sound and handling...just do not like some of the glitches that 20 has - even after many laps & multiple setups, just do not enjoy playing the 20 version when comparing to 19 - even some of the views of the bikes on 19 look better when cornering - I can see more definition around the wheel / brake / chain area - on 20, the view on these areas are dark / shadowed and just don't show the definition like 19. Also do not like how over-exaggerated the bike kicks out coming out of the corners in 20. Maybe in couple years I may replace my 19 version, but for now version 19 is king.
Never played a moto gp game, always assumed they were not very good based on comments on them but when I recently saw moto gp 20 on sale on ps store, I decided to pick it up and I think the games great, I love having the front and rear breaks and having to use them gentle to prevent ripping the bike and to keep control, they've gained a new fan of the series!, it's also peaked my interest in watching the proper moto gp on TV too!
Brakes are very inconsistent. Brake deep into one corner 100% no crash Then randomly lose the front on another. There should be some sort of vibration feedback for a player to feel the edge limit. Simple fix. SBK10 done it and it still is to rhis day a better game. Also the stoppies. Seriously how many do u see in an actual motogp bike do into a corner.....lol. comical the amount in this game. For me the inconsistent grips and brakes make it not fun. I used to be in top 10 world times consistently in previous games btw so I'm not as if I'm not used to buke games. Also I race for real as well.....so i know what I'm looking for. Wish i could lend the developers a hand tbh.
20 will be my 1st MotoGP game, i've heard it was a big improvement from 19 but this comparison really doesn't show a big improvement. Lighting is better on 20 Physics look a bit better on 20 Bike models look better on 19 Graphics look better on 19 Sounds better on 19 Also, the price on 20 is super high.
I've played every Moto GP since 7 and 20 is my favorite one, 19 is great but I love 20. The only thing 19 has that I wish 20 had is the ability to look up your riders career stats at any time and the sticker creater has the share ability in 19 which they stopped in 20 because too many people were making dumbass stickers like pornhub lol.

The Aprilia in the 20 Version doesnt look like the real bike at all. It looks exactly like the 19 version just other winglets. A shame as the real 2020 Aprilia has a really new and unique design
MotoGP20 in this video is "day 1 released" version, Milestone has made several update since then for example liveries, bike models, rider suits and helmets

I think the sliding is the only one problem here for 20 in real life the bike would be slide if its have enough power and in low gear condition but not always happen often
IOM TT Ride on the Edge 2 is infinity better. A greater sense of speed and danger. This is too sanitized. No thrills at all. Give the title to BigBen/KT Racing to see a massive improvement !
Man it's just a different game you can't compare. In IOM you have narrow roads, trees and houses everywhere, obviously there's more sense of speed and danger than riding on enormous tracks with nothing around

2019 is too saturated colours and bright contrast lightning. 2020 looks more natural and real. Details are also better quality.

@@xXturbo86Xx shut up lol that's not what he means, I have played every Moto GP game and 20 is by far the best. 19 is way too easy to just go full throttle while turning, try that on 20 lmao. The physics of 20 are so much better and the AI is way better.

Looking back I can see the year 2017 has better game control physics then the 2018, 2019 and up. But for the dirt versions of this game at year MXGP 2019 and back are way better when it comes to controls but not for graphics but I prefer the game controls over graphics.
This is a great video and will watch more title reviews from you...I have been back & forth between Moto GP 19 / 20 and the more I critique them there is definitely a strong winner - will keep my Moto GP 19 and return my 20 version for some credit...20 does have couple improvements that I can appreciate, but 19 is total package with graphics, sound and handling...just do not like some of the glitches that 20 has - even after many laps & multiple setups, just do not enjoy playing the 20 version when comparing to 19 - even some of the views of the bikes on 19 look better when cornering - I can see more definition around the wheel / brake / chain area - on 20, the view on these areas are dark / shadowed and just don't show the definition like 19. Also do not like how over-exaggerated the bike kicks out coming out of the corners in 20. Maybe in couple years I may replace my 19 version, but for now version 19 is king.

Never played a moto gp game, always assumed they were not very good based on comments on them but when I recently saw moto gp 20 on sale on ps store, I decided to pick it up and I think the games great, I love having the front and rear breaks and having to use them gentle to prevent ripping the bike and to keep control, they've gained a new fan of the series!, it's also peaked my interest in watching the proper moto gp on TV too!

Brakes are very inconsistent. Brake deep into one corner 100% no crash
Then randomly lose the front on another.
There should be some sort of vibration feedback for a player to feel the edge limit. Simple fix. SBK10 done it and it still is to rhis day a better game.
Also the stoppies. Seriously how many do u see in an actual motogp bike do into a corner.....lol. comical the amount in this game.
For me the inconsistent grips and brakes make it not fun. I used to be in top 10 world times consistently in previous games btw so I'm not as if I'm not used to buke games. Also I race for real as well.....so i know what I'm looking for.
Wish i could lend the developers a hand tbh.
20 will be my 1st MotoGP game, i've heard it was a big improvement from 19 but this comparison really doesn't show a big improvement.

Bike models look better on 19

Also, the price on 20 is super high.
I've played every Moto GP since 7 and 20 is my favorite one, 19 is great but I love 20. The only thing 19 has that I wish 20 had is the ability to look up your riders career stats at any time and the sticker creater has the share ability in 19 which they stopped in 20 because too many people were making dumbass stickers like pornhub lol.
Still looks the same, motogp 20 lighting and environment is just a bit better, but overall still the same

The Aprilia in the 20 Version doesnt look like the real bike at all. It looks exactly like the 19 version just other winglets. A shame as the real 2020 Aprilia has a really new and unique design
MotoGP20 in this video is "day 1 released" version, Milestone has made several update since then for example liveries, bike models, rider suits and helmets

I think the sliding is the only one problem here for 20 in real life the bike would be slide if its have enough power and in low gear condition but not always happen often
If you have a top end graphics enhanced tv you can make motogp19 look like 20 and 20 look like 19.

IOM TT Ride on the Edge 2 is infinity better. A greater sense of speed and danger. This is too sanitized. No thrills at all. Give the title to BigBen/KT Racing to see a massive improvement !
Man it's just a different game you can't compare. In IOM you have narrow roads, trees and houses everywhere, obviously there's more sense of speed and danger than riding on enormous tracks with nothing around
19 is better but the Carrier Mode from 20 is 1000000 times better than 19

developpers should really stop messig with shifting, i mean why engine revs when u dont shift up, irl it keeps going up until u shift up, same for GT, if u r at 2nd and dont shift up the speed blocks at certain speed that's bs im always mad at this, plz comment if u share my same view

The movement of the rider, is still a little stiff and robotic, And using the right stick to move the rider in different place around the bike
should be in there, by now, the graphics have not moved that much! from 19 to 20, even GTA was doing the clothing moving

20 is a big downgrade if you ask me. There's not a single thing that i like about it. The team management feature isn't very good either, it was better in MotoGP17. You could actually BUY your motorcycles....
