I like the natural color of TT1, which is close to the real world, and the screen color of TT2 is too blue.The engine sound is very good in both.
So they put a blue filter over the first game. 🤔
They were already thinking ahead

In the second game they ruined the colour pallete and the physics with extreme pendulum effect but improved the braking mechanics and rider animations . Unfortunately first game felt better with bike having more inertia and feel more in contact with the ground
That windscreen told me to be happy with the first version.. besides, I give the nod to RIDE series anyways and RIDE 4 is coming.. I will save my money.

@@Shelboooooo more assortment of bikes and tracks.. riding styles etc.. it has the Ulster GP so that's like a short Isle of man.. I do have the first TT Isle of Man I got during a 70% off sale.... , just don't see the need for part 2...maybe when it is 70% off as well..
The original TT feels much better as far as physics/handling imo. TT2's cornering feels too weightless and unrealistic

In TT the view pivots from the point where the wheel makes road contact.
In TT2 it pivots from the helmet.
Even in 3rd person that just looks so wrong as the bikes moves left and right from center view.

I was screaming about this over on the steam forums, nobody seems to get it, the bike and rider swing like a pendulum from the helmet in external and from the centre of the screen onboard, it's terrible

THAT video is really clear as to the sort of movement that is seen from one's eyes when RIDING.
First time I raced, I remember thinking.. "My view looks like those videos I used to watch"!
It is so different to when you are just riding on roads.. there is a flow of bike/body/head...

Llevo mas de 30 años andando en moto y tambien he tocado los circuitos y una vida dedicada a los videojuegos, tengo que decir que mucho más realista el uno que el dos en la visión dentro de la moto, desde fuera es que no contenplo a ninguno. La forma de moverse la moto en el dos es muy rápida y su sensación de balanceo junto con una cúpula que no te deja ver me parece una cagada!!!!, me gusta bastante más el uno, el dos me parece un arcade. Solo el sonido y el nivel de detalle es mejor en el dos. Iba comprar el dos pero creo que compraré el uno.
Tengo los dos y el primero es mejor en todo, hasta en los graficos. Representa las sensaciones del Manx TT mucho mejor, las camaras son mejores, las motos son muy diferentes entre ellas, en el dos son todas la misma mierda
Isle of Man 2's color was probably "them" trying to match the impression of the riders helmet visor tint....
The first game is way better in everything, better graphics and more natural, different behavior between the bikes and between supersport and superbikes, in the second all the bikes is the same shit. In the second game doesnt matter what you do, never fall down or slide, the traction control deactivate or full is also the same while in the first game is quite different, the cameras are shit and the outside camera are too far and the bikes so small, like a toys. The second game is an arcade, unrealistic and lack of feeling
you need to play both to feel the real difference.
idc about graphics , but TT1 is much better in steering , TT2 feels weird when leaning right-left , in TT1 camera much more steady ( you'll crash less hehe).
The second part looks more realistic, but the thing with steering.. Like sliding instandly into your leaning angle looks like gta 5. That's awful.
So basically, A blue tone color filter and more maps for 30e ?

I think the one who made the second part was depressed at that point and would not have told the development team and kept it a secret between him and himself, which affected the game.
Still don't feuding get it 1st person on the bike is still crap and now in 2 it looks even worse cheers you have saved me £50

At least 2 is playable first one I could only play the 600cc superbike was uncontrollable plus I could never unlock new bikes, in 2 you can just keep doing career 'easy' races for money and parts, the stupid pendulum with real wheel sticking out every turn is goofy asf though. Pity, these 2 games could be gold and sell well over 2 million copies with a more arcade setup like MotoGp19 or Ride 3, that's sorta the sweet spot

But i have some doubt on this game that have no physic models. It just trace the track.
On that evidence, you can't see your tire losing grip at playing(without corseout situation).
You can niether feel oversteer nor understeer nor highside and so...it is not bike game at all.
How do you think?

The Side by side shows that the Controls look a HECK OF a LOT SMOOTHER on the oriiginal.
You appear to be tense and Tappy and sketchy on the new one..
What controls were you using and is there a big change on the new game??
Graphically? new one is a BIT nice but the camera angles are more intrusive... the KERB is clearer on no.2 which means you won't DIE.
Sound Wise, the Revving on the Start line seemed nicer and more real on the original ....
in game, didn't make much difference.

I played the first and thought that the physics were awful. The second looks the same. Real shame really. The graphics look great.
the coloring of the tt2 is kind of off putting.. i cant understand why would they make it so blue of what ever.. looks just dull and soulless

Hmm. Biggest difference I see is how the graphics on the first had that kinda saturated warmth effect. I loved it, the second one seems to have a really cold gloomy effect to it, but also has more shadowing and such too it
I bought the second part today because I was such a fan of the first. In retrospect, however, I am very disappointed with the new part. The performance has deteriorated significantly. In addition, I found the driving feel better the first time. With the new part I just don't feel like I did with the first part.
I have the 1st and bought the 2nd. Not worth £50 the graphics are worse and how small the bikes are in the near view camera view☹️

TT2 is pure unadulterated shit. TT1 is natural all the way around. Natural look, natural feel.
If you have the first, you don't need to bother with the second!!

That's what i am thinking, not listening to fanboys. It seems more forgiving, but that's not what i want, i just don't want to randomly fall flat on my ass for no good reason.
TT2 is nearly perfect only thing is missing is a 'highside pjysic' where rear tyre tend to slide while acceleration
@@erwiin9725 Highside is rear tyre breaking traction then suddenly gripping again while leant over, resulting in the bike sitting up violently mid turn then this huge momentum flips the bike over on it's opposite side flinging the rider up out of the seat, hence the name. You are describing 'backing into a turn' Backing in would be cool to see.

Why do they spend time developing the graphics only to stick a big dirty blurry screen right in the place you are trying to concentrate....unbelievable!
The only down grade here I see is the graphics, everything else seems to be an improvement. The riding physics are so much better, in the first game I would low side over anything.

The color, lighting dynamics, sound, riding style, cameras and career mode are better, but the scenery looks worse, the fear factor has gone, the bikes have no weight and so you cant feel the tarmac. Still better than the first but really, really lacks IMMERSION! It's fixable.
Everyone who screams camera is too wobbly or bike isn't touching the road never ride a bike... Are you a riders? do you have any sport bike? do you ride on normal roads? don't think so... everyone watching video on YT with camera stabilization thinks that irl bike is glued to the road xD what a nonsens... i'm a rider i've got Honda CBR1100xx Blackbird and Aprilia RS125

hi, its not easy to find this information so ill have to ask you. when i play ride on the edge 1 i always play tankview where the view moves with the bike. newer games make the head still and make the tank move around it and i dont like riding that way. Does ride on the edge 2 have the view that makes the head move same as the tank does? thanks alot!
did you know you can go into OPTIONS -> CAMERA -> and turn on DYNAMIC cam. on TT2...so it can be like the first game.☘
Everyone’s complaining about how dark 2 is but it makes it more realistic and less cartoonish in my opinion I like it a lot ✊🏽

You lost me at the Physics because you weren't capable of showing off the real physics of the bikes by getting them to the edge of adhesion. Filter: Don't Recommend Channel :(

I will Wait Until this Bike/Car Simulator has MATURED as I think they have a lot to Learn for EXAMPLE when a Bike accelerates out of a corner the Front feels A lot lighter and TENDS to DRIFT.
This game is VERY CLOSE but STILL FEELS LIKE A CAGER/CAR, Colin McRae

I was really hoping for more riders... I counted alot that were missing, the eletric zero class, light weights, super stock, nw200, southern 100, ulster GP, armory, im sure side cars will come later, Michael Dunlop on his current gray MD Honda cbr600rr and 2019 gray MD BMW s1000rr or Tyco. I'm not pro but I hold my own on ride, motoGP and isle of man and I am riding out of my skin in the game and with no rewinds now that the bikes are faster is tough plus them punishing you for restarting is really messed up. Besides all of that it's better than the first one and it gives me something to play now that I have to cancel my isle of man tt 2020 trip lol. Still havent canceled my rooms and flight because its gonna sting 🤣😂🏍🇮🇲🤘

@@whatthevic they will add side cars and bring in acouple my riders like they did last game but I bet that's as far as it goes. They brought in Xavier Denis late and side cars for the first one. They will add like Guy Martin and side cars and that's it I bet
I don't think they can do any of the Northern Ireland tracks. NW200, Ulster GP anything like that.. because I heard the ones who make the Ride series on PS4 (can't remember their name) hold the rights to all those races. Obviously you can race them on Ride 3. That's why they make those kinda "inspired by" circuits in Ride on the Edge. "Antrim Track" (Dundrod/Ulster GP) "Triangle Raceway" (NW200), Tyrone track (Not sure if this is supposed to be Armoy or maybe the Cookstown 100). Anyways, as the other developers own the rights to most of the NI road races I'm not holding my breath for those. Which is kinda sad.. as Ride on the Edge is the only true road racing game.. and yes, while the TT is the biggest and best road race, many would say NI is the the true home of Road Racing and the Ulster GP and NW200 are just as loved to some true road racing fans. It's all personal opinion, some of the NI tracks are the favourite races of many of the top racers. Some would place them even above the TT.
@@LordBoleskine yea I noticed the triangle track in isle of man tt and I was thinking what the heck the triangle is the northwest 200. It would be nice to have a real road racing game. I had my trip all paid for the 2020 isle of man and now I have to get my refund for my hotel and plane ticket. Makes sense as to why they didnt put it in the game now.

In my opinion is the first TT Isle of man a lot better. I played them both and the control of the bikes is more realistic as in the TT Isle of man 2. The back of the motorcycle brakes out in every corner and react nervous in the second part. Only the graphics are more sharp in TT Isle of man 2!!

They have destroyed the physics in this game, they certainly haven't made it better. I had high hopes for this TT2 but my gosh what have they done, graphics-wise brilliant spot on but on the outside view when on this or any other planet has a motorbike pivot on the riders head you can see it clearly on the side by side outside view at 6:20 I don't think the developers have ever ridden a pushbike never mind a Superbike, then there are the simple things that everyone who buys a bike game wants, you can't wheelie or do a stoppie a burnout nothing the weight of the bikes are way to light it will flip you off the back of it going over a crack on the road and even when it does flip-up it's too quick to get off the throttle or grab the rear brake. If these guys had ever ridden a motorbike they would know that when you open the throttle coming out a corner the bike could do a number of things lift up straight and you have to fight to get it down to steer or the front end will come up and you use weight to control the direction or the rear starts to spin and you use throttle position and the power to control the direction you want to go What does TT2 have ??? Zero Zip Bupkiss. This game isn't a simulation it's just pretty pictures going by quickly. To the developers go buy a motorbike or play the 20-year-old game Superbike 2000 from AE Sports, Now that is great Physics, So come on TT2 Guys Sort this mess out Give us the game we all want or at least let us Wheelie.

Ride 3 is by far the best motorcycle game ever made, only thing its missing is the TT circuit.

The left hander between Ballagarey and Crosby should be taken flat out even on a superbike. Some of the best riders even do it in real life which is just bloody crazy!
Yes David jefferys was killed around that corner 2003 I belive... And the jump after the Crosby pub always stay to the right
It's a lot easier to take flat out in TT2. In TT1 I'd always back off a smidge before tipping in just so I could actually accelerate through the corner for better stability. Must take some big attributes to be able to do THAT corner, at those speeds, in real life.. R.I.P. David Jefferies

The 2nd is much better with more tracks and bikes. Physics are much better too. Wheely-ing through Lezayre like in real life is a thrill.

It's a shame it should be the best bike game out there it's the tt for god sake it's rubbish doesn't even handle like a real bike replays are good tho. I would be happy with the original tt game early 2000s just give me today's graphics that game you could really ride the bikes

is it just me or does the new game look like it has worse graphics? textures and lighting look so much better in the original. especially when you were doing the first comparison. the glint off the tail piece and the textures on the one piece leathers look so much nicer compared to the newer game.........
