I watched it this week on the player, and yes indeed... absolutely immense. Don't know why I've slept on it so long. Reminded me of what Vonnegut gave to himself with his book Breakfast of Champions.
It almost felt like a parody of Dave's work with a rickety concept and deliberately skewed acting. The one great plus to C's movies is it lets Howard Shore do another one of the techofantasy scores which I love.

I actually really liked this movie. It wasnt perfect and I didnt love the Howard Shore score but it was really striking visually and conceptually.

@@britishfilminstitute I do hope. It would be a lot easier for many fans of Al Bowlly, to not have to travel the the BFI just to watch those movies.
