often times when i feel like i have a solid understanding of award travel, you upload a video that teaches me something brand new to me. this is one of them! thanks for the content 🙏
One time I found a business class US to Europe flight for 90k aeroplan point out of my home airport, but it included 3 stops for a total travel time of over 40 hrs, including 23 hr layover in Chicago. Every other business class flight I’ve found on Air Canada from my home airport is 110k or over. More cost effective for me to redeem my points for cash and book a better airline with cash.
We used this to book thru COPA airlines to return from Lima Peru with a 2 day stopover in Panama City. Then return to NYC. It was 55k AC per person in business
Thanks Max. We fly to Asia every year on AP award points in Biz. But want to stop over in Europe Planning to re watch your VDO to try to Get it. Usually we pay 87500 miles Booking 48-50;weeks out.
I live in Louisville Kentucky do i need to reposition my flight to a bigger airport like Chicago? To do a stopovers which my final destination is Philippines. Please let me know how. Thanks
Would you say Aeroplan points are the best airline points to have? Better than avios or lifemiles or ANA or other? And I’m sure I heard a sparkle in your voice when you mentioned night markets. Yum!
Hahaha yes Taipei night markets 🙌🏽 when we went last fall it was rainy so a lot of stalls were closed but still had fun! Aeroplan points are great because of their versatility and usability and earn-ability. I wouldn’t say they are the best points but they definitely are some of my favorite.
@@MaxMilesPoints do you have a video on the new Wells Fargo card, not sure if 60k is a good deal or wait? To me Aeroplan is expensive and points are hard to accumulate.
i followed your instruction for searching award space on united step by step (in the asiana video), but despite i selected "business" it would show me as all days in a month have availability (and all in the saver price) but when i click into the day its still economy only. so even though united displays a whole month, i still need to click day by day to look for business/first availability. does this happen to any one else?
Do you know how to redeem ANA tickets on Air Canada? I remember watching your video demonstrating how to redeem them before, but I can't seem to find ANA on Air Canada's website now.
Air canada has been occasionally blocking an Ana award space and Ana business class space has been very very sparse so not surprised you aren’t able to find any award space.
i got a targeted offer for 150k points on amex. I was going to hold off on cards cause i have 6/24 and i want to get back into the chase eco system for the business cards at some point. Should i take this offer or wait?
Would you ever consider doing a video on booking the best trip for what someone has in points? Like if I gave you all of my balances and told you kind of where we want to go and then you can make a video showing exactly how someone should book a 7-10 day vacation?
@MaxMilesPoints - to do this do you recommend having the points in aeroplan ready to go? I am hoping to book an award flight via aeroplan for singapore air bali to lax with stopover in singapore and am afraid they will go away quick. I figure i dont have time to wait on the phone for an agent. Appreciate your help

You’re welcome! Glad you like the content!
Agreed I’ve been following all your videos and this one has been super valuable thanks! 🙏
As a Canadian, I was really waiting for a video like this from you. Thank you so much, Max!
last year I did YVR-SYD-BKK. This year I booked Bali-SYD-ATL.
You do have the most helpful videos. Thank you.
Glad you like them! Thanks for watching!

Just booked the Singapore Airline from EWR to BKK with a stopover at Singapore for 87.5K plus 77 in their A350 ULR bulkhead seat😊😊😊
Thanks for this and you other videos -- very helpful and easy to understand.
Thanks so much. This helped me immensely. I knew about the stopover option but couldn't see how to actually book it. Thanks again!
You would still have to book the return flight home correct?

Great video my dude, sweet use of graphics too!
Thanks glad you liked it!
Thanks Max!
Thanks for the video, it would be amazing if you could do a live Q&A someday
Maybe one day! Thanks for the idea!
I think you would get a lot of traction with minimum time commitment by doing a Reddit Ask Me Anything session. Ask a Mod in the forum!

What about the dollar cost of booking business class flights with points?
Thanks for the tutorial. I'll look into it. But for some reason, i always seem to have shitty luck with Aeroplan when it comes to business class
Wait we can do Europe to Asia then finish in the US then?
Dude you never cease to amaze me! Keep them coming! It's funny you don't post as many videos, but the ones you do post.... quality over quantity!
I can never find any reward seats no matter how hard I try :(. Have you ever considered doing reward consulting booking on the side?
Hi Max! Could you please do the video using miles to any part of india from USA?
Do you get your check-in bag? During the days you do the stop over? Or the check in continue to the final destination?
Yup!

How do we find routes and how many miles total from one place to another?
you can use www.gcmap.com/ !

Is it difficult to find award flights? Any tips to find availability?
For flights look on seats.areo. It’s a great asset to have. It’s somewhat free but he did a video on it a while back.
United allows stopover in the same region with no additional points. Example, USA, South Africa - Keneya.
Yup the United excursionist perk , but it’s more restrictive and requires roundtrip booking. United tends to charge more in points vs Aeroplan

What will happen to checked bags?
Your bags go with you wherever you go. Pick it up at your stopover and then recheck it to your final destination
Over 2 business days now still waiting for Chase points transfer into my Aeroplan
This has happened to me before. They are holding up the transfer as a fraud check. Hopefully it clears soon
I'm sitting in ton of Amex points right now😂 I have no idea where to go haha so I'll experiment with this tips 😎
Must be nice 😊

I'd wait, the 150k offer comes and goes. If your goal is to get under 5/24 then I'd wait

Great video.
But 2 nights in London will cost you £600 :)

Life miles is still a bit cheaper compared to Aeroplan imo
😮
Are you OK? You seem a little depressed in this video...
