That's a major plus since we are not offering free changes & refunds anymore. Two bags & preferred seating is in there as well. Lastly, I can also confirm the very high PTS costs. It has been rising to say the least. Always EXPLORE your options before commiting to a price somewhere. Do your research before putting your foot down.

I'd say the uncertainty in border reopenings prices into that too. Typically I wouldn't expect those flights to be so high once frequencies increase a bit in the future.
Finally just got around to trying this out! I don't know how you figured this out, but hey, it's pretty awesome and the searches are then so personalized relative to aeroplan elite status etc. Cool!!

Make your viewer aware. Marriott will/can cancel your reservations without notification . I booked a Autograph hotel in Lisbon on March 2,2022 with points. . Between 3/2 - 6/20 . The hotel is no longer a Marriott property . My reservation was cancelled and Marriott said is not there problem nothing they can do. The new reservation now cost me from 237,000 pts to 606,000 pts. I have been a member for over 40 years. Titanium Elite member. Marriott is getting too big , has no control ..
Does anyone know if Aeroplan is also using dynamic pricing for advanced seat selection? My partner and I booked two identical tickets in the same class of service for an upcoming flight. My cost for advanced seat selection is almost double the other ticket. Air Canada referred us to Aeroplan. Aeroplan at first tried to investigate it as an error, but then refused to do anything and blamed it on dynamic pricing. Doesn't pass the smell test. I've had the worst experiences with Aeroplan since Air Canada bought it back and changed everything.

so I was looking at business one-way from Toronto to shanghai, saw the point was about 181k, so I transferred all my points (200k)from amex to aeroplan, 3 days later once the transfer is done, business fare was suddenly changed to 341k and I’m stuck now smfh

Agreed, 1-way flights toronto to haneda, seoul, shanghai are all 175k pt starting, even flights in jan/feb.

From what I've seen most cheap award flights with AC are for less than desirable planes. Even economy fares are very high on the 777 and Dreamliners.
That's different from what I've experienced - been able to book several 777s and 787s at the lower pricing level in business class, and even more by using eUps.
