- The smooth and chewy taro mochi (mochi, glutinous rice cake, daifuku) is actually very simple to make with a pan.
Quickly make a few, it is a beautiful afternoon tea snack.
Ingredients: (12 pieces)
20g unsalted butter
150g Glutinous rice flour
25g Corn starch
25g Caster sugar
200g Milk
1tbsp Purple sweet potato powder
240g taro paste

Can we keep this overnight? And also would it be ok if i keep in the freezer and thaw outside before we eat?
You could keep it in the fridge overnight. Leave it at room temperature for a few minutes before eating, otherwise it could be hard.
