It has been before. Back when anthrax, yellow fever, scarlet fever, small pox and typhoid ran rampant through the world and particularly through small western towns and settlements back in the 1800's and before back when even one person getting just one of those disaeases could and often did wipe out an entire town. Gives a bit of a different meaning to ghost town. Let us also not forget the black death which dropped the world's population from around 475 million down to as low as 275 million. It did so in just 8 years. It wasn't even known how the disease was spread. It took over 500 years later to learn how it was spread. A little late for those 10s to 100s of millions of people. By comparison, the tsunami in 2004 killed around 250 thousand people. That is why I have a hard time hearing people call this bullshit a pandemic. Losing almost half the world's population in just 8 years, that is a pandemic. The first cure wasn't even discovered until 1947 I believe. Those wild west towns back in the 1800's had no cure for any of those diseases that wiped out entire towns. All they could do was wait. This has been the world's theme on several occasions in the past.
@@erictalkington5674 I think you're confusing a the terms catastrophy and pandemic quite a bit here. Just because we can now combat diseases instead of just enduring people dying left, right and center, when an infectious biological agents traverses the entire globe and infects most to all places in the worlds - than we have a pandemic. Regardless of the amount of people dying from it. You might find that this is not a world ending catastrophy, but still a pandemic. That is the definition of the word.
This is strangely peaceful to me. Calming yet interesting sounds. They lull me to my grave with the sweetest sounds of death that they propose to my hearing canals. Well done.
38:00 sounds a lot like the intro to Alien Girl; a DnB classic by Ed Rush, Optical and Fierce. In addition to that, Ed Rush is one of the co-founders of the DnB label *Virus* Recordings!
Abandoned Base. It brings me way back. Like Batman TTG back. It's the grinding industrial sound of an old crime scene, a devious scene of enemy activity, or just a sinister revelation.
We got wiped out before that by our own nukes. This supervirus was so agile it killed off 97% of the remaining surviving mammal species on the planet in under one year.
@@TheBobVova it's strange how it stopped on 82k cases, despite Wuhan having 11 million people. There might be hundreds of thousands of cases, just like in the US.
How the fu** did I miss you there, precious? I can imagine the T or G virus invading the body, killing and resurrecting cells and turning the person into zombie and mutating while its white blood cells are fighting a losing battle until nothing but a hideous mutant mass remains of what used to be a human being... :|
This music is contagious...
ope, also relevant months later
This is about to be the world's theme song.

Coronavirus: *It’s free real estate*

Totaly love it, no sound (jump scares)

It took me a moment to realize that this mix is for actual contagion, and not the Resident Evil games.
Even better. >:D

The theme of family gatherings
Heh, now you can't

Brought to you by the Umbrella Corporation, "Our Buisness is life itself"
Since they can't spell, I don't think we have anything to worry about, do we?
About time... listening while in quarantine.

superb! once again Dronny enrichs Cryo! bigUP+
why does this sound like the sounds you'd hear at the bottom of an Oceanic Planet?
because it's so empty and brutal I think, not an environnent to deal with as complex lifeforms
