Very odd 'review'. No one has ever compared the rides between the LX and an LC. 😀 A body on frame floaty boat vs. a GT car...you're going to get a different experience. The level of NVH into the car is quite possibly the 2018's suspension, including the type of tires fitted on the car. If you're looking for a smoother experience, then I recommend test driving the 2020+ models.
Well as someone who currently daily’s an LX570 and is looking to get into an LC500 at some point, it’s extremely relevant to me. I’ll stand by that it’s insane that a bona fide GT car has more road noise than a literal body on frame truck with all terrains. Road noise really contributes to fatigue on long trips, and it’s giving me a second thoughts about getting one.
I have an 18 and here are some pros and cons over my ownership: pros: - engine/exhaust note - 10 speed is incredible when in power, super engaging and responsive - styling is very unique and interesting imo - fuel economy (for a v8) cons: - interior styling is sweet, but some materials feel cheaper than initially expected/carryover parts (turn signal stock, buttons around track pad, door sills, seat leather) - infotainment is terrible, truly awful. the track pad is a piece of garbage (carplay does make it a bit better) - 10 speed is a little rough at lower throttle, tends to buck occasionally - firm suspension imo - no trunk pass-thru - 2018 brake pad noise/brake dust cons with mine: - loud popping noise coming from the rear when body is under stress, which after taking it to the dealer for investigation it might be a welding issue within the car, not something i was expecting from a 100k msrp vehicle. might be 2018 specific - dcm module failure - can't remote start car or use lexus enform app due to faulty hardware/software, dealer wants a good chunk of money to fix (only to pay a monthly subscription after lol) - REALLY loud wind noise at speed, kind of like a whistling noise. seems to be a window/door gasket issue as the rubber ages, louder when its colder The car is great, I look for an excuse to drive it just about every day, but there have been a number of disappoints along the way too. They seem to be mainly be 2018 specific. 2019+ ones seem to be better; the 10 speed supposedly has better programming, softer ride, 24+ have a worse looking but MUCH better infotainment system, and they are using different brake pads after a lot of people complained about the noise and dust. I plan on selling this one and buying a newer one which should address a lot of the issues.

what a scenery! it suits the car and your drive pretty well!
This car is perfect.
If there’s a better all around street car, I’m trying to find it…
I have one in infrared with the performance package. I've owned a lot of cars, and this is is one of my favorites! Great video.
I’m so close to making a very questionable financial decision
Great video, love the lc

I know they updated the suspension, I talked about it twice in the video, you don’t have to keep telling me here.
I have an LX570 and LS500 and I’m thinking of getting an LC in the future but I would have never thought about comparing the ride between the two.

Great car 👍
It’s surprisingly good
Do you live in Vegas? I saw one with this wrap around here. It was also a Turo rental.

Why are you letting it bounce off the limiter? Rookie at best.
guy has been driving professionally for 6 decades
Then you would think he’d know better with so much experience. DA
As someone with ears I wanted to experience how crazy the limiter sounds in this car. And I did. And it was glorious.
@@williambiel Sounds just like a 40k Mustang. DA

Is this the one on turo?
It is. Would recommend, great host.
@williambiel fantastic, I rented one in LA a bit ago. Amazing experience! If I'm out that way I would love to drive another one
