Excellent tutorials Ed ,, definitely going to purchase a Kaosspad v.soon, after seeing what it can do,, I see that you were using a phone to sample beats,, could you sample a beat,,say from UA-cam directly or do you need a certain program????🧐
HI Again my man ive just 1 problem when repeating your tutorial ....... .. i Cant seem to be able to have the 1st 3 pads playing at the same time after looping ie. useing the screen to seporate each pads volume ... it will only play one lane at a Time any suggestions
Hey Jaffa! I think I had to do an update on the KAOSS pad to get this function. Try looking on the Korg site for the download. Then plug the pad in via usb to run the firmware update 👍

Fun, I’m basically using it as an audio interface and processing audio from my DJ setup. I’m surprised at how good the audio quality is. I’m going to try and record with it, do you have any tips or suggestions regarding input, output scenarios. I have a zoom H1, not sure if that would be the appropriate direction to take.
Yeah if you're using a Zoom H1 as the recorder, then the simple signal chain would be DJ setup output -> KAOSS Pad input then KAOSS Pad Out to H1 Input. You'd need to make sure the switch on the back is set to 'Direct' so it includes the original dry signal.
