He might not be displaying the manual dexterity to say, play guitar or piano, but he is showing he has great musical creativity - something not all 'traditional' possess.

@almostjalun That's entirely up to your mixer. If your mixer has send and return, then hook both those up to the KP3 and pipe signal from your CDJ through it. I just got a KP3 and setup was super simple. Hope this helps.
@BreakTheWallsMusic YES, just connect the stereo line out jacks to an amp or mixer. it uses rca cables just like your dvd player etc (except the yellow video jack). so if your mixer doesnt have stereo inputs you can get cables that convert rca to 2 - 1/4"s or whatever you need. and you can sample audio in the same way, which has been sweet for me to sample from old video games and movies

Though the part after he loses the duck ("I don't need a duck, to be hiphop!" world class :)) is really groovy... You gotta love this guy )
Dope shit! I've had the KP3 for 2 years now and I never knew you can effect an existing loop and record it again. Also never knew you can record a synth sound and loop it. Man Korg really needs to step up their product demos. Thanks man!
@Cloud00209 no because the kaoss pad 3 is an effect processer/ sampler. that means u put noise through it and u can loop distort and pritty much play with the noise..so beatboxers loop beatboxing with effects on top..which sounds class the kaossilator pro has internal instriments.so the toch screen on the kaossilator pro is ure noise....the kaoss pad touch screen effects the noise u have inputed in to it......so no you cant......i hope this helped
not only controlling the sample banks in the kaoss pad but he can make them work together by turning them on and off, and recording new samples each time... it requiresa lot of time playing with that thing

I bought my KAOSS PAD today and after 6 hours I am already producing perfect lines to mix up in the computer - very nice tool! it almost is an instrument... the kaoss pad 3 is the best choice of all kinds of KAOSS PADS there are it is an instrument, a sampler-looper there are just a few good things I miss: PITCH control SWITCH, at least 16 or 32 slice parts (it has only got 8) and at least 4x4 sample-pads; a larger screen and a PC - LIVE - SOFTWARE- TOOL XD please make one onpen source !!
hope this helps the kaoss pad 3 has a red and white in and out put...the same as most game consols e.g play station ,x box ,wii..thoose kind of things..so you can plug it in to tv's sterios or you can use decks sinths or P.A's...you can not use it through a compuer even though it comes with computer software..thats only for ltering effects and samples on sd cards...hope this helped..
It is probably hooked to a soundcard, which then is hooked to a computer running some kind of DAW. That's what I'd use anyway. Another possibility is that he runs it through a mixer and then straight into the camera so he doesn't have to deal with added reverb and noise from a most likely inferior camera mic. But if you mainly want to record the sound, it'd be wise to invest in an external sound card and getting some kind of DAW.
i am pretty sure that the kp3 automatically syncopates everything and therefore it is impossible to play off beat or out of beat when looping and sampling with this thing
