We got SO MANY questions in the last 24 hours I think we'll never run out of material. :-DDDDDD
The only thing that's hard is not being able to help each person individually - so some of this info may work for you, some may not and we're aware of that.
We are NOT voice teachers, so we hope our language and demonstrations make sense!!! LOL!
We actually created a small technique series last season, so I'll link ALL the videos here for you!

I always look for the big breath in, when I watch the professionals…now I understand why I don’t see it from the good ones! Thank you for such a thorough explanation of everything!
YOUR FUNNY, BEAUTIFUL, AND NICE DESCRIPTION OF HOW COMPLICATED THE BREATHING SYSTEM IS, AND HOW TO OVERCOME IT.
Just discovered your videos and I am now a big fan. Love you two. Great teaching and humor too 😊. Thank you!
Best video about breathing for singers.
Hi Soula, thank you! wonderful video! Can you please make another one more specific about ONSET and PLACEMENT (how and where to find the proper resonance). Thank you very much! :)
Thanks so much, glad you enjoyed it! 😀 Definitely! Part of what do is “hear” and visualize the note before I sing. I’ll explain 😝
Boop - boop!! :D Thans a lot for that!! Lol I enjoy every video you both make here and on instagram!!
How did I miss this sweet comment!! BOOP BOOP indeed!!!! LOL! Thank you for all your support!!!🙌🏻🙌🏻
You look really kind
I like and learn of your masterclass .
Very helpful. Thanks. Muhammad from Iran.
Great vid as always. I love these because it is like back in college when I would claw into my teachers brains for more info and details. LOVE it. Two points: on pull in push out... is there a weight difference? IE if someone is a larger person I wonder if it is easier for them to connect by pushing out... and thinner people pull in in order to make that contact? I am thin too and It is always a question... one teacher I had said for me to stop thinking about it and let it happen... but then her voice was naturally HUGE. Second point on breath: One of my teachers would really push the idea of practicing the 3rd breath. He wanted to make sure we did not focus really well on breath one.... and the rest just falls apart. So, we would do an exercise 3 times so that I had to "take that breath between" and make sure the second and third breath were still correct. LOVE watching you all work!
Thank you a lot from Russia! like your videos so much! Can you help me and a lot of another vocal students and make a video about appogio and how it should work in a correct way?
It was 17 seconds lol Also I love this channel
Thank youuuuuuuu!!!!!! :-DDD
Are you engaging the pelvic floor muscles during the inhalation and holding through the musical phrase? Thank you!
Really interesting and useful tips! I am pretty curious about the crescendo/diminuendo as that seems like it's obtained by changing the pressure of the air, basically by adjusting how much we hold back the air with our support muscles, is that right?
Like, on a stable note a quieter sound going into a louder sound would be obtained by using little air at the beginning (with substantial resistance on the diaphragm), gradually realising more air (with less resistance on the diaphragm), and then for a diminuendo gradually realising less air again? or the opposite?
This sounds intuitive and logically makes sense, but in that case a louder sound would be more stressful and heavier on the vocal folds, as there'd be more air going through them. I guess my question is generally what makes in a healthy way a sound louder or quieter?
I love you! 💗
Hi Soula you are great and also funny
I really liked that part at 6:00 :D
No picture on your video 😅
Can u pls explain in terms of inhale n exhale...when u r doing zzzzz, it's difficult to understand, whether it's inhale or exhale...
After 6 minutes...the steady airflow exercise that u showed was inhale or exhale..
Hi can you make diaphagmatic breathing deep breathing and abdominal breathing?
Definitely! Breathing is so important! Are you having a particular issue? We try to create the material based on what people are dealing with 😊
@@LivingOpera and release diaphragmatic exercises tratament
Sabrina Luna okay!! We’ll put it on the list of topics!!😘
Why the annoying background beat music during your instructions?
How should a man support his breath?
Il problema non è inspirare, ma come espirare soprattutto nel forte per non spingere ..quello è un vero problema per tutti
The soundtracks are so irritating. I really can't watch anymore, it's on all of them.
