The progesterone from pregnancy does change some women's voice. It's like how testosterone changes the teenage boy's voice. It happened to Celine Dion. I feel her voice range lowered after each of her 2 pregnancies.

This is great but a friendly reminder that you should not attempt to reach the notes that she is doing here if you haven't done so before. She is clearly modifying warm ups CONSTANTLY to not over do it and hurt her voice and body and is repeating and descending to relax her larynx and tune notes. Remember that appropriate practice makes progress and that she has been doing this for YEARS.

Your warm ups are really helping me increase awareness of support, placement, breathing so I can sound better and get the wobble out of my voice, which is a habit and lack of breath control. i am getting stronger. thank you so much Freya

    Hello one question.
Well, let me explain first ...
A few months ago I took opera singing classes, but because of what is happening now I stopped going
I want to resume my practice and that is why I came here, I liked the exercises too much
I wanted to know if they taught me the technique, which is to lower the larynx and raise the palate
Do you lower the larynx and raise the palate?
And also on the diaphragm, not putting pressure on the diaphragm, just letting the air out?

Do you have any tips/ video of yours that could help me in strengthening my head voice? If I sing a Bb4 it sounds more high-pitched than "normal", while everything above C5 is weak and creaky
Although I can't be sure about my voice type (don't know how to find my passaggio), I suspect I'm a mezzo

    • @dianeshepherdlyricsoprano1394

Listen to what she says at the end @ 19:40. So essentially we are talking about scales, arpeggios, octaves, fifths, fast, slow, staccato, legato, different vowels and consonants, and sing mezzo forte for the most part. Experiment and monitor your sound and technique etc. But I do think her first few exercises can generally apply.
