Dogs and Swans and trains and you guys... perfect combo for a nice breakfast video! Cool show and awesome layouts, and some great visceral scenes around the location!
Thanks Anthony it's not far from where I grew up and I went to school just a 5 minute walk away. It was a fair bit quieter in the 80' All the best Rick
Great video, did i spot you buying again, I say Driver Pauline did very well with those large Yanky diesels , you sed ducklings, we was shouting goslings but you weren't listening. Loved that layout of Urmston what a lovely story, credit to them both. Anyway a very good watch again. All the best.
Hi Gary, yes I bought that 33. Goslings of course 😂😂 Those diesels are amazing models and the noise is unreal. It's always good to hear the back stories of the layouts. All the best Rick
Lancaster Canal Boat Hire, Best all round tutorial before setting off, Lots of extra goodies, All boat hire is expensive but we'll worth trying for a week, 4mph is fab plus the lanky as it's called is nearly forty miles NO locks! Plenty of nice pubs along the way❤ ps will you be at Bakewell next month?
Hi there wow that is great for the Blind :). And to start off with that big one running..... BUT O WOW LOL look who is running it :)!!! Nice Dog and here we go looking at some fine Trains :) outside nice!! Nice looking wagons and Locomotives too :). I sure do like all of the Layout's wow!!! Little track and train too time for the dog :)!!! Some of the Layouts are just perfect wow so nice and for the end of your video . This was just ducky ..LOL ... Ok I will go now ... Get it ducky lol..... Ok I am off!!!!
Great to see so many unfamiliar layouts again. The idea of buildings, cars etc. that where part of your life brought together in a fictional layout, love it. Another eye catcher to me was the last one, based in Scotland, not the era in particular, but the old whisky distillery in the back ground, a theme for a shelf layout that I'm working on at the moment. Plus the steam roller on the bridge, that's a nice homage to Fred Dibnah, when he went on tour with his steam roller, what a legend. It would be a really good idea, if you're looking for a theme for your layout, completely dedicated to Fred, he is a character that to me presents one of the best in the UK, and you could fill a complete layout that refers to him. Also a big thanks to all dogs, ducks and duckling's that featured in this nice documentary😜 Cheers, Danny
A fantastic charity ,it’s the one sense I would hate to loose ,to me people who loose their sight or who are born blind are brave for me I admit I’m nosy I need to see for myself and enjoy things ,I hope they raised loads All the best Mark 😊😊
The 00 layout with all the sound chipped locomotives looks like a typical heritage railway. Lovely to see that people model heritage railways as well as modern ones.
I’m a sucker for caravans but can never find the static ones to buy. Then they appear on a stall on your video! Great vid..I shall be off to they’re website 😁
Hi Rob, Kevin who owns North Western Models is a really nice guy and we did an interview all about NWM and how he got into railway modelling. The video will be out on Sunday. All the best Rick
Same weekend next year! May Bank Holiday weekend sat 3rd, sun 4th & mon 5th 2025, once again at the Saddleworth Museum & Art Gallery raising money for Guide Dogs.
If you want to know why they’re known as Gronks, pay a visit to the Epping Ongar Railway. They have three different Gronks, 2 are Class 03 and the third is a Class 08.
Hi Pete, Bobby is ok and is out and about again. We couldn't take him to the show as only assistance dogs are allowed in the museum. I will be having a go next time! Cheers Rick
Rick what would you say is a fair price to pay for a pendaleno / avanti thinking of getting .also in the news today i think it was a class 50 derailed down near me at swange gala in dorset .
I have no idea on the Pendaleno as I don't think I have ever looked at them to be honest. I'm sure someone on here can help. I will have a look at the news on the 50. Cheers Rick
What an amazing charity ❤
Looks like a great show and a nice trip on the narrow boat.
Cheers Deano

Thanks for the show. 15:20 what a nice layout with the 2 MPD. Sort of layout would almost fit into a garage or shed.
Very nice that one Kimball, so much going on in that small space. Cheers Rick
Great video guys

Indeed Oh Wow!! Some gorgeous layouts and an adorable dog!! For me to have an adorable dog, it would have to be a Shi-Tzu or Lasa-Apso.

Cracking layout isn't it, this was its first time being exhibited. Thanks for watching Rick

Great stuff from my nearest show. The traction engine and trailer on Edgworth must be a tribute to the great Fred Dibnah. :)
Certainly could be. 😀
I like that O scale layout.
Great isn't it Arthur, Thanks for watching Rick

Thanks for putting on a great show Andy and what a contrast to last year's weather!
@@wellchuffedrailways yes sunshine not snow.
Paulines using the best controller for Dcc, I can see her taking over the controller next time you have a running session!
Hi Christine, unfortunately our layout is not up to Pauline's lofty standards! All the best Rick
Well what can I say about upping standards Rick❤
I'd have bought that blue-livered Tornado. Looked superb.
3 Mainline wagons for £25: blimey!
It does look very nice in blue doesn't it!
@@wellchuffedrailways A2 Blue Peter has been turned out in that early BR Express Blue for her return to traffic.
Nice show. Are you visting the show at Crewe on the 23rd of June?
Hi, at the moment we have no plans to so it is unlikely we will. All the best Rick

Hello again guys, was Paula trying to replace Bobby? Harry
Haha watch out for Bobby in tonight's video at 19:30!
The cars on the model car transporters don’t HAVE to be plastic rubbish you know!! I put Oxford Diecast on mine!!
Yup that's what we would do!
Where is Gomez Addams
He couldn't make it.
What happened to the pigeon? It must have been poisoned in the park!! Pardon my Tom Lehrerism!!
