I don’t know why people give OMS shit. These videos are good.
My concern would be the wild changes in audio quality, incorrect word choice / writing needs another drafting. They've done a lot that is good, but there are also obvious avenues of improvement available.

Im constantly searching for a Warhammer show that never suits on GW, complains about gameplay or setting, anything. These guys are always informative and it's obvious that they're die hard fans, much like myself.

When flying directly through the immaterium clearly isn't needed for FTL, I'm amazed the Imperium doesn't just do a bit of R & D and come up with a 'safe' drive for non-urgent use... doesn't do a bit of R & D.... R&D... forget I said anything.

Question, Do the Nekrons use the warp? I assume you need a soul to do that. It's a small but niggling thing I dont know. Gratz on first 🫡

I don't think a machine can sense the warp like a navigator but humans were traveling the warp before navigators existed so it's not essential.
@@Erebusdidnothingwrongish Oh no, I don't believe Necrons use the warp at all. They're almost the antithesis of everything chaos stands for. They are one of the few entities, along with tyranids and orks that chaos has difficulty influencing. I'm no expert in 40k, but I think the inertialess drives are a uniquely necron device.

I missed it. How does a tyranid ship generate speed? I'm not even talking about ftl.
Why doesn't an imperial cruiser easily evade a biological the same say ocean vessels sail rings around whales and out persist dolphins?

Tyrinids have a ship that messes with gravity to slide quickly through space.
But they have to slow down before reaching the target so they don't create a gravity well and get torn apart, I think that's why they slow down 10 it not hundreds of years before reaching the target.
I don't think it's specifically covered. For long distances they "burn" biomass to propel themselves in a, mostly, straight line until they reach a desired speed. For short "knife-fight" propulsion, I'm not sure.
