Singer With The Biggest Vocal Range EVER

- Today I watch and react to Dimash Kudaibergen who might just be the singer with the biggest vocal range EVER. Going from F2 to the incredibly high note D8 his amazing voice spans over 5 octaves. Technically there's no denying he has incredible talent. But does it sounds good?

Realized in hindsight that the clip when Simon Cowell and the judges looked bored is most likely not a real clip from a talent show, but a fan made edit. I don't think Dimash was ever on that show lmaoo

Nah, no beer. It's more like, "hold my dombra." 😂

It's supposed to spell as Dimash...

Dimash really smacks into your face "you're untalented" to everyone watching

@@rayad4746 i think the person who uploaded that video just edited it to make it look like dimash went on got talent but he didn't it was some kind of concert for dimash.
BUT I SANG GOOD OLD JOHNNY B. GOODE!
This is not a healthy way to think about it. 'Talent' is subjective, some of it is genetic, some of it is based on hard work using time that not everybody else has. Instead of thinking of yourself as untalented for not having skills that someone else does, concentrate on just being happy with your own skill and your own pace of improvement. :)

@@marvinfocus4006 yeah nice try, you probably mean c7
The most interesting part about this guy is
I don't think he even cares about his range
Rather he is sooo much interested in feeling every song he sings
In fact that's what he cares more about 😊❤️ he said in a interview that range is not so important, he said his objective with his music he wants to take us out of our daily routine and makes us travel to a dream world. And that's something he already achieved ❤️
Exactly I see it dude.
Dimash said in an Interview, that it's his mission or dream, to bring the people in a fantasyworld. So they can forget all the trouble in this world. In private, he is never arrogant. the nicest person ever! Because of that, he is loved more
@@angieand89 .
He definitely seems very interested in showing his range. You dont sustain C6s, D6s and Eb6s in one song and then do 6th octave head voice in every performance if that isn't at least part of what you want to show. He made the musically insensitive choice of sustaining a D8 just because he can..
Roomie faking the fact that he’s bored for the entire video and then losing it with astonishment and excitement when Dimash sings, only to try really really hard to look bored again afterwards made me laugh so hard! 😂
Yeah, Roomie is cute in this video with the pretend bored face and the real excited expression! 🤣
Dimash isn't trying to sound like a woman, he sounds like a guy who can sing extremely high.

The thing about dimash is he never wanted to “prove” himself to anyone else, he never wanted to show that he is better than anyone or if he can sing like a female even if he can.
He does whatever he likes to with his voice, he sings whichever technique, in whatever range, and however way he wants, be it rock/ opera/ pop.
He doesnt care about title, money or fame. He quit the World’s Best show when he was so close to winning One Million dollar, just because the business show isnt in parallel with the virtues he uphold.
He is one in a billion, a league on his own. His only rival is himself, he gets better and better by surpassing his own limit, every single time.
Yeeeeeessss. And he is humble, he doesn' t feel like a star and he doesn' t like people saying he is the BEST. He adores his fans, who he refers to as DEARS.
He already has dear's clubs all around the world and we love him!
Not even IF he can......even WHEN he can.
Fatin couldn’t have said it better myself. And if he isn’t your cup of tea then you never have to listen to him again. That’s the Beauty.
he walk out on World's best because he had to faced kids.. right???
Aoifee Schiffer absolutely. In His culture they do not compete with children. They do everything they can to lift them up. It was honorable what he did for them in giving up the chance to win $1 million. I can guarantee you he wasn’t scared.
At the end of the song, Dimash says "xie xie". That is Mandarin for "thank you". I just find it so cute that Joel also said it without knowing what it meant, but it still fit the context :3
same that was rly sweet
He looks Asian because Kazakhstan is in Central Asia, although it was formerly a part of the Soviet Empire. It takes a lot of influence from both cultures.
It was also part of the Russian empire. Kazhakstan, was a territory formed by the Soviets, which was home to Kyrgyz people and Cossacks, but many Cossacks died during the revolts against the new regime. I know this is irrelevant, but I just felt like sharing.

Actually he was criticized for high pitch voice and his peers made fun of him. It was his teachers to keep singing in his high pitch through puberty. So he was able to retain it
Andy R well look at him now they can’t laugh at him anymore
That's literally how it was according to his voice teacher. His voice lowered with puberty, but he never lost his high range lol But to be fair, he always had a big range. His voice further lowered, but he has always had a big lower extension too. I've listened to a lot of his old stuff. In a song of his later teenage years he aready hit an E2. He hit A2s in his early teenage years. And he hit a C3 in a video of him as a freaking kid. So his range has always been big.

@@bishalmagar9521 the show must go on probably?
@@reonexyray6347 sry not impressed 😊
@@reonexyray6347 I won't call his live version of "Show must go on" a rock song
I'd argue with that rock part as well. I just don't think Dimash has the rock vibe and by his arragements I can tell he rather fully shines in slower, more operatic and wide in range songs. Freddie could sing rock and opera, he had both agressive, soft and full voice. I get it that he didn't hit D8 or anything, he had 'just' 4 octaves but we all are more and less suited for certain generes. Not that I don't appreciate Dimash but I prefer listening to deep, crispy and low voices and I don't particualrly like when someone is so obviously throwing me high notes in the face like saying 'look how high I can go'. For me it's all about how everything about the song blends together.
"It doesn't inspire me" Seems Roomie is jelaous.
To be fair he sings a lot of boring stuff that doesn't showcase him as it should.
I agree he is so not inspireing... he is awesome and perfection, beyond reality, but I don't feel it a bit. I would rather hear averege singer who hits the emotion, than D8 with zero emotion for me...
Not at all, he expresses my feelings on Dimash perfectly. Like, I can hear him hit high notes, and there is no denying he has an incredible range and talent, but I just don't feel it, and I can't really share in the hype that surrounds him. He is not a singer I would listen to on my own, because how high the person can go isn't the most important thing, it's about whether or not they are able to make me feel what they are singing. So while those I listen to might not get quite so high I still prefer their singing to Dimash.
I think dimash was only depend on his high notes, the reason why he never be that popular, i think bcoz his song is boring, idk just my opinion

_cram Her use of the article “The” is perfect here since there will ever only be one Dimash and he is “THE” Dimash, without a doubt. One and only. He doesn’t have a title right now like “The Father of Rock”, “The King of Pop” etc but he has the article “The” for sure.
What I think is while the other dude tried to sound like a woman, this dude doesn’t sound like that to me. He sounds like a man with that high voice, not like a separate woman and man. The high notes still sound masculine.
You're right. 😊 He's not trying to imitate a female sound.
One of the differences between Marcelito and him: no range switches (he usually pretty much stays in the tenor range) but tonal switches (between "male" and "female")
Dimash: no tonal switches but range switches (he can go more tha half an octave lower than the lowest notes of the bass range and more thab 2 octaves higher than the highest notes of the soprano range)
Actually Dimash has a lot of different tone switches as well, just not as drastic as Marcelito. He often sounds like a different person from phrase phrase himself
Dimash can probably try to sound like two different people if he wanted, but he kept it at default to say that “ Hi I am a guy and I can hit these notes”
That's what roomie said....
Theres a difference between a high voice and a female voice you uncultured swine

Okay, first, let me say this: SOS d'un terrien en detresse is SUCH A HARD SONG! I've never seen anyone do the original justice, up until now... That was INCREDIBLE! And look at his precious pretty face.. This boy has it all!
His pronunciation was not very on point, as a french speaking lady, I couldn't understand much of the words, but damn, those skills!!! At some point, I totally forgot the song was supposed to be in french, and it was like I was listening to a song in a foreign language!
Little tip for our friends who want to learn french: we usually don't pronounce "s" at the end of words, so vis, ris, would be pronounced "vee" and "ree" :) Hope somebody finds it interesting ;^^
thanks for your comment. Dimash - Vocal King
His interpretation is amazing, however his pronunciation is horrible. French is my main language and I couldn't make most of the words. It would be amazing if he continued to work with a teacher to better his pronunciation.
@@Nyraksi - he sings in 9 languages. Does he need to work with 9 teachers?
YES
@@71Stasia Maybe, but finding 1 teacher that speaks 9 languages would be ideal! Optimal even. Being as awesome as he is though, he doesn't have to but I think it would be a nice finishing touch. Learning languages is hard and takes a lot of time but it's worth the investment for the audience.
His voice is beyond 🌎
True
Dimash hears opera#2 by Vitas.
Dimash: Hold my beer....
When Dimash hit all those high notes, I think Joel’s soul was about to fly to heaven 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Its not live, its all playback. So i wouldnt call that hitting high notes
Kin Tama thank you :D
@@kintama9045 do you have any proof?
Accuracy: 100%
American Singers defeated: 100%
Auto-tune: Out of business
Technique wise there are american singers better than him ie lea michele, barbara streisand, Patti Lupone
no
This for sure used some autotune tho
U forgot Mariah dude.
He can sing higher than Mariah and sustain it, with vibrato.
i feel like every time roomie brings up his sexuality he says im so straight it makes me think not but if riahnna is involved whooo "BeAuTiFuL, aMaZinG"
Joel: “Bruh!😮”
**shakes head**
😐
That was cute ngl
09:55 Dimash doesn‘t need autotune, he IS autotune 🤭
He's right u know 😆☝
Autotune needs him))
Listen to Faouzia’s voice...
Of course yes...🤩😍
This is not even 1%autotune go listen to postmalone do same stuff and ywnmelly thier voice is god gifted autotune
You should also watch his "Unforgettable Day Gakku" performance where he actually goes as high as the D8
Otniel Vasilca Possibly his best performance and range
D wha-
wait the D note on the 8th Octave!?
@arvin Brian yes, D note on the 8th octave, and the recent one he did on an F# 6 on the Chinese New Year festival it was fantastic, he is wonderful
I read it as unforgettable gay dakku
You probably know by now that that second video is a "remade" one. He didn't perform in front of those judges. (The piano player wrote the song and that's his famous band, A-Studio. He invited Dimash to sing this song that was made popular by their friend who died.) Dimash has other songs you'd probably enjoy just listening to rather than reacting to online. Thank you for your reaction.
What amazes me even more than his registry is the control he has over his voice
99% of the comments: *omg that guy is so good*
1% of the comments: *why was roomie's voice depressing for the most part of the video*
He was trying to copy davie504
Right? Every comment is just praising this guy and I'm just sitting there confused.
0.0000001 precent (aka my comment): "meh"
@@nsishere4751 no need 2b confused. Just check out Tara Simon reactions to Dimash on YT. Tara Simon is a US vocal coach to celebrities. After that continue on vocal coaches reactions to Dimash on YT.
That was what I was thinking!
December 10th 2019, first solo concert in USA, sold out Barclays Center, people from 68 countries attended Dimash concert, ask them how was it.
Ok so for a non-French person, it wasn’t that bad honestly! Like yes some words were weird but French is hard so it’s okay
Some of the words were weird?! He literally didn’t sing full verses of the song lmao. As a native French speaker, yes it’s hard, but if you can’t pronounce it maybe another song would have been better?
I agree I am not French but like I studied really hard for that 7 and 8 im proud ahhhh oui
Wow, you're really not like most French people I've met previously. You're too nice
@@dancingrick1014 And you're exactly like the French people I've met before.
@@Miksu__ oh thanks! Maybe because I’m a Canadian it’s in our genes😂😂
I feel like he deserves the title of the worlds best singer

When your vocal range is so good that you don't need the microphone
Those high notes he hits are so hard to do, opening your chest to get that ring is exceptionally difficult and takes a ton of breath. His control is beautiful.
Wow, Dimash is amazing, and I was not bored at all watching Roomie react.
It's kinda cool because he is singing songs that you would not typically hear in talent shows.
He never was in talent show. The video is fake and created from other video
This is a French song that is actually really well-known in France and that a lot of people perform in France in talent show. By the way he is really a good singer but it bothers me a little that he is not singing the good lyrics... As if it was not important ...
@@amandeunnie2253 So its originally a french song but he sang a russian version? Am i right?
@Ringwraith 100 Yeah i was just going to say that we are talking about different songs cause theres no way it would be other than russian its so obvious
His cute little hand movements are rather similar to Roomie's singing expressions It only works when he does it. 😂
I love this guys voice though, I could watch him perform.
Haha that’s fair
@@RoomieOfficial u and the guy are both cute, not gonna lie 😚. No homo though.
@@RoomieOfficial Dimash came to America to participate at The World's Best. You should react to it.
@@marisanssummer8882 no. Nothing from that competition. Let's forget it ever exists.
