Orla's reaction to seeing James is really heart warming, plus you can see how much they all care about each other.
Definitely, I always felt like James and Orla had a really special relationship. He was always the first to like support and protect her & despite her taking the piss with the others u can tell how highly she thought of him

I always love the concept of him hanging out with the girls and being the tag along to their adventures. He's the only straight man that truly understands the female emotion

As funny as the delivery was for some people, that was probably one of the best emotional lines in this show.
ORLA TOOK A _RUNNING JUMP_ AT JAMES! AND JAMES _CAUGHT HER!_ MY HEART I CANT!! HE EVEN HAD HIS ARMS OUT FOR HER!!! I DONT SHIP IT BUT THIS IS SUPER CUTE

I fell in love with this show. I even got my Hubbin watching this funny, amazing show. I do hope Erin And James get together. Everyone deserves happiness.

I’m just returning from a short break in Derry. When we walked past the guildhall and the walls behind I thought of this scene.
This is the area of my family came from 150 years ago. My family came over in black 47.
Me & my brother were thinking that James should've left and came back to derry after summer with full blown attitude & confidence, and start hanging out with lads, cz he's all cool now! (It would've been funny) But its fine that he decided to stay! 😍
tonight's the first time I have been watching this show's clips, but I think I like that idea.
Yeah, it definitely would've been worth seeing James going through as much mistreatment as he did if he had come out of it with some more backbone and confidence.

I can't get my head around this. When was it ever hinted before the Season 2 Finale that they loved him deep down?
I think they only realised how much he'd become a part of their lives when he said he was leaving for London. All the teenage mayhem they'd been through together. Plus, there is the fact that Erin secretly fancies him and Michelle really does want him for a cousin, even though her "tough girl" act won't let her show it.
It's a very sweet moment because he doesnt know where he exists, and the people who beat the piss out of him, love him the most. god bless.
