Assassination Classroom is so good, one of the first anime that made me cry, Koro Sensei may look scary and bizarre, but he's incredibly nice and sympathetic
When my friends got me into anime I binged a lot of the highly ranked ones but I decided to watch some newer less known (at the time) anime. This was one of the first I tried on a whim and I was expecting it to be mediocre but it remains one of my alltime favorites.

No spoiler Summary:
The show is about a class of normal students. But one day the yellow thing becomes their teacher and, among all the usual subjects, teaches them how to be a good assassin with the end goal of the class being to kill the yellow guy before the end of the year.
The songs was actually sung by the cast. It never fails that the final opening gets over the sad message of that season even with people who have never seen or heard of the anime.
I always liked how the openings represent how the show gets more and more serious as it goes on. Also the OPs are all sung by the JP cast which I haven't seen done by any other show. It is 100% worth your time to watch this gem of a show.
One Piece did it once. The 5th anniversary version of the opening 1 (We Are) is sung by the 5 cast members who were in the straw hat crew at the time.

Also Asta's JP VA does an ending in Black Clover, same with Emilia's in Re: Zero for an ending. Nanbaka op as well was sung by the cast (just giving some other examples as people have done)

One of my personal favourite is KNB, they actually made entire CDs of the cast singing song, my favourites by one of the Opening called Zero sang by Kensho Ono (voice of Kuroko) and I love his duo with Tatsuhisa Suzuki (voice of Takao) called Bring It On Now
9:03 You are not alone. I still tear up when I watch opening 4. Nagisa looking back a second time but this time Koro-sensei is gone. It breaks my heart every time I see that part.

Bye Bye Yesterday never fails to make me tear up, I think the lyrics are really pretty and reflect the show perfectly. Assassination Classroom is one of those shows that seem to be for younger audience it has a weird premise and seem kinda out there but I can promise that even as an adult you can learn a lot from this show. It has a way of touching everyone: kids teens and adults alike, it teaches a lot of stuffs you wish you could have known when you were younger. I was already in my late teens when Assassination Classroom was airing so I didnt grow up with it quite like the younger people who watched it but another show that's older that has a similar way of teaching you life through a teacher/student relationship that really helped me as a kid feeling like education is worth it and taught me a bunch of life lessons and helped me be a better person was Great Teacher Onizuka (GTO for short). Though i have to put the disclaimer it is from the 90's media was completely different back then so theres some dodgy stuffs in it. The openings of GTO (and endings) are gold too. Definitely recommend AssClass (and GTO) to everyone it is worth the watch
Samee, i always feel sad and tear a bit when bye bye yesterday plays. Especially hit me because when i watched assasination classroom final season, im also in my 3rd year of highschool, the memories of both the anime and real life never fails to bring nostalgia 🥲
The teacher is the assassination target and he is teaching the kids meant to kill him, himself. That's the best non spoiler summary I can give xD

One of the only pieces of media period to bring me to tears. The character growth in this show is good, its hilarious, its heart wrenching, and its heart warming. Top tier anime all around in my humble opinon.

this anime is awesome, i had already watch it for 4 times and still wanna watch it again. it has a lot scenes make audiance happy, sad, and emotional. but still it is an enjoyable anime to see how the students growth in the school within the teacher.

Koro Sensei is the best teacher you could ask for, one of my favourites anime characters ever. And you're right about the last opening, that last shot is very emotional.
Assassination classroom is a must watch. It's my favorite show of all time.
I love this show. I'm a school teacher and all the themes about growing up and education really stick with me personally. It's such a unique premise and just a fun and heartfelt show.
I gotta say that Assassination Classroom is one of the best anime I've ever seen,it's so good and it's not that dark as it's name,literally make me cry in the end

Synopsis without spoilers: In an elitist and discriminatory school there is class 3-E, where students said to have "no future" are allocated. Until one fine night, the Moon explodes, losing 70% of its size. Then a creature arrives on Earth saying that in a year, he will destroy the planet too. The military forces prove incapable in the face of his power, and he makes a deal, that during that year, he will be a teacher of excluded class 3-E, and train them as assassins so that they are responsible for his death. The paradox of the anime is: HE IS A TRUE TEACHER, capable of loving and educating his students, making them want to grow and evolve. And it will be up to them to learn how to kill him and fight the mess of emotions that will be. ♥

A little Fun fact about this anime.(Ive watched i think over 100 anime in the last 10 years or so). To This day this is one of 2 Animes where the OP Is performed by the Cast of the show.(The only other i can think of is Akame ga Kill). The First OP of that is Performed by Sora Amamiya who also voices Akame.
This is one of first animes that taught me martial arts irl.
This series Made me cry at the end.

Koro sensei(the yellow octopus) is my one of the most favourite characters in ALL of anime not just in this anime. He is so fun and caring. This anime is a 10/10 must watch. It's funny and cool as well as deep and emotional mixed in the right amounts.
This anime is very straightforward "it is like ok here is the main story" but the most interesting part is the sub stories the why and the journey instead of just the main story.

Last opening hits different after finishing this series
The premise is that this is one of the best schools ever, and part of that is that the punishment for not being a top tier student is getting moved to class 3-E which is super underfunded and basically garneted to ruin your chances to succeed in life. There is this bizarre alien or mutant that blew a hole in the moon and promises to destroy the earth in 1 year. Before that happens though he wants to teach a bunch of students in a classroom. Oddly enough he is effectively the ultimate perfect teacher. The kids in the class have special weapons that, for the most part, and harmless to normal people but can and will kill this guy if they can manage to hit him. He can move at ludicus speeds though. Whosoever kills him will receive a huge monetary reward. And that's basically everything I can say without spoiling anything.
Strongly suggest this one, probably one of the first anime that I watched and I don't regret it, it's both fun and emotional. I have rewatched it a few times and it's definitely a classic imo.

You should definetely try to watch this magneficent show. It's fairly short and fantastic and then you can get answers to all of your questions.

It's hard to come to with a more bizarre yet amazing plot than Assassination Classroom. Super Octopus Man threatens to destroy Earth in about a year while insisting on teaching a middle school class and giving them life skills with the intention that they will become strong enough to kill him.
It's not often you can say that a guy capable and willing to destroy Earth is actually one of the kindest souls you'll ever have the pleasure of witnessing.

although this anime dosnt have the greatest badgets, or smartest plot i would warmly recommend you to watch the 2 seasons.
it have some great epic moments, emotional moments, alot of comedy, and very cool reviels.

If you ever do watch comedy anime such as this whether its in your own time or reacting to it, id personally recommend watching it in English because a lot of the comedy gets taken away from the show if you dont know the language, and in English you'll most likely be able to understand some jokes better, mainly through the tone of the characters voices since it can be different.

What the translations of the lyrics don't really do well with is that many of the lyrics are made up of honomyns that could either refer to normal things like studying or friendship or killing.
Give violet evergarden opening and endings a shot. Trust me, its filled with emotions . Your gonna love it.

Hey man, first of all, This anime also surprised me when I started it because it was genuinely fun and interesting. So if you want to react to something different, you should react to this anime.(Believe it or not, I prefer it in Dub).

It's no horrendous but it's not great either, it's sort of average but with a unique concept that puts it ahead of the pack.
