Reading without pressure will leave much needed room for your 'connection and reaction' to the writing and story, wonderful self care and we will also benefit! Thanks for this video, I loved it.

It’s good that you’re trying to take care of your bedtime routines. As an insomniac, I know how lack of sleep can adversely affect your daily life. (Says the woman who was reading a book on a SCREEN at 2:30 this morning.)

I’m not being very successful yet, but I’m trying! Insomnia has been a lifelong habit for me.

oh no hearing that no book or "nothing has been thrown across the floor" after just having watched the entire Pulitzer/ Night Watch video made me first chuckle and then wince in sympathy

In the middle of Greta and Valdin. I do wonder if I would pick up on the humor better if I was listening instead of reading. I am enjoying it though. As I prepare for my retirement this summer after 30 years of service at VA this quote from the book hit. "We should go for coffee sometime is definitely code for when you want to end a conversation with someone and never see them again. People at my work say it all the time." Just a little line in the book that touched a nerve and something we all have either said or experienced. Sleep is so important and I am glad you are working on it. It has become my number one self care priority!

I feel like one of your goals last year was to slow down on your reading. Good to see you getting to it this year. I need to count how many cinnamon bun books I’ve read this year.

I just finished Mrs Quinn’s a few days ago and loved it. I also kept thinking that it had a Slumdog feel to it.

Thank you Greg for introducing me to Zorrie... it's a great book... I just finished it today 😊...
Have you heard of Indiana Indiana by the same author? It follows the life of Noah Summers, I think 🤔

I’d heard that he had other books that connect to Zorrie but did not know about that one. Thanks!
