Een fraaie Opel Manta die ik zag tijdens het uitlaten van mijn hond. Een vriend van mij is een ware Manta liefhebber dus ik moest hier even een video van maken.
Ongelofelijk, zo zie ik mijn oude manta via UA-cam weer terug 😀 Ik heb deze vanaf 1985 tot 1998 in mijn bezit gehad, de originele kenteken platen heb ik ook nog. Hij is origineel zilver van kleur en door mij toentertijd geheel gerestaureerd, maar inmiddels in een iets donkere kleur overgespoten. De dubbele achterlichten van 4 x dezelfde ( niet origineel) en de spiegels van een chevrolette zitten er ook weer op. Ik dacht echt dat hij definitief weg zou zijn, maar zo zie je maar, hij is er nog. Als de eigenaar contact wil opnemen kan dat, zet maar ff een post via deze, altijd leuk. Groetjes Alex Martens.
Always loved the look of the Manta A. This one is just the way an Manta A should look Classic but tuned with taste. Great job. A tried to keep the same trend with my Kadett C :)
Absolutely beautiful! Very tastefully done 👍 My dad had a ‘74 A berlinetta in silver, by the mid eighties it was totally falling apart with rust. It very sadly went to the scrap yard. It’s very nice to see that some have survived & looking this good too!
When I turned 16 in 1980 my mom gave me her '74 Manta A. Actually, in the USA it's a Buick Opel Manta. Great little car, but it vapor locked when it was really hot outside. An electric fuel pump fixed that problem. I installed a Weber carb, upgraded ignition and KYB shocks and it was a pretty fun car to drive. They styling is rather timeless. It would look a lot better if it sat an inch lower with a wider wheel tire combo.
That is a friggin' nice car. I love the Opel Manta. I would like to buy one but they are rare here in the states. I lived in Germany for 5 years and I saw plenty of Opels and the Manta is the one I really liked. The closest thing to the look here is a Comet. I would like to own one of these someday.
I know I'm biased because my first car was a '75 Manta, but damn, that's STILL one pretty design, even after all these years. The Capri? Outdated. Celica? Even more so. The Manta could be revived with minor updates and it would sell like hotcakes.

No idea, looks like some 90s vintage aftermarket. There are a few frames where you can clearly make out the logo, but can't decypher what letters they are.

Dad had one in the 90s. Steering was heavy as hell, but what a sweet ride.
