Awesome video!! Love the mods that you have added! Your Super 73 is rad!! Cool new stickers too! Thanks again! Stay safe and peace out!✌️ Love your videos!
Really helpful info, it’s good to see the S2 is still in great shape. My S2 (EU version) arrived a few weeks ago and it’s interesting to hear how the differences impact ride experience. Btw where did you buy your custom battery stickers, can you share a link? Everywhere i look requires bulk purchases.
Hey! Thank you so much for watching and for your support! You dig the battery stickers? They are not really meant to be Super73 decals but I like these because it’s one of my favorite animations. I’ll put the link to the website here: mischiefmakers.us/
I’m at 2500 miles now on my 2017 S1. Love these bikes. My biggest problem so far was having to Weld it to repair the Crank Cylinder(ended up making a video of the repair.) Keep an eye at those welds. Is that the Juiced Alarm/Horn?
Hey Brandon! Thank you so much for checkout the video! I use the bike for commuting and for small errands too. I like to take it to places like the beach or the paved hills of Hollywood. I don’t really like taking it off roading. That’s definitely for the RX. I use it almost every day but mostly take it out on the weekends. I’ll make a video about it soon. 🤟
I have heard that it performs well in the rain. I haven’t actually ridden it under the rain (because it never rains here) but Matt from Paris has Ridden it under rain several times. Not sure how it does in snow. I have seen a fellow from NYC ride it in a snow storm and it didn’t damage anything (although he did have to wash the bike right after).
I have a V3 motor. Upgraded from V1 to V3 when my motor gave out and it was covered by the warranty. All S73 bikes now come with the V3 motors. And I haven’t heard of anyone having problems with the V3.
Pretty great. Not the softest but definitely sturdy enough to sit all the way back and not fall off your bike. Although there are some softer out there.
Hey Peter! Its @super73boston here. About that tail light, is it still on when you turn on the Kanebilt light and gets brighter when you press the brake? Like same as the stock one
Hey! The rear light works exactly like the stock one. Press the brakes, it gets bright. Turn on lights on the diamond display, stays on. Hit the brakes while it’s on, it gets brighter. Turn off the bike, it turns off too.
How much you weight? I’m a big guy at 223lbs. Is the power enough to go on trails, and streets? I don’t want it to struggle. I see lots of people saying Super73 needs more power.
I'm not sure your grip on whats normal is correct. your breaks should not warp, the breaks are underpowered and you can fix it. telling people they should warp and that its normal is just wrong.
One of the CLEANEST bikes I’ve ever seen, I want to model mine after yours once I get it. Only thing is if you don’t mind, where did you get the evangalion stickers?
You should not have to replace rotors 3 times in 2k miles. Typically, on any bike with disc brakes, if your brakes are squealing it is contaminated pads. Clean rotors and clean pads and lightly sand pads. If contamination is bad enough then replace. If wearing out pads that fast on rear only then u need to use front brakes more. Like in a car, front brakes should do 90% of braking. Hope this helps.
Exactly. But unfortunately due to the weight of this bike and the cheap stock rotors it come with they start to warp over 2k miles. Specially if the rider is over 200lb like me. Great comment, spot on taking care of brakes and rotors.
have you tried having two ppl on the bike? How did it work ? I'm thinking of riding it with my gf but worried about the weight or the seat not being enough for two ppl. I'm 6 foot and she's about 5'2
Hey I'm just about to reach a 1000 miles on my S2 , and all of a sudden my thumb throttle won't let me accelerate normally or past 13 or 14 miles an hour but the pedal assist on level 4 will still go full speed , any ideas of what might be going on ? 🤔
Have you tried going to the app, goin to “vehicle” and sliding the bar all the way to level 4? Sometimes that happened to me in the past and it was just a glitch of the software.
@@thepeterparkershowink yeah I haven't tried that yet but it seems like the bike on even level two should go 20 miles an hour with decent acceleration...
@@thepeterparkershow I think I'll try it every set all the settings and do a software update and see if that fixes it... But thanks for looking out 😜🥀👌 we're getting brushed by a hurricane down in Sarasota right now...
My motor totally stopped working after I got a flat. After I fixed the flat the motor still doesn't work, and I am really concerned. I took the bike at a shop, and they said that there was no problem with the battery and all the cables are not cut. There is no info on what happened to my motor online and super73 didn't responded. I hope someone can give me some info on what to do. BTW I pushed the bike home for around 2 miles with help from the throttle going 3 mph. My dad is suggesting that I fried the motor by forcing it to push out power while I was walking it home. They shop opened the battery and saw that the fuse is working and the peddle assist is not.
@@tobyjamesmusic Sure, you are going to need a female and male cable of these: amzn.to/3ybQheK The light: amzn.to/3y9mfZp and these to connect them together: amzn.to/2WhrpnR and some zip-ties: amzn.to/2WjSpmG hope that helps!
Surely not? Unless it's a bad motor or you fry it, Hub motors in general are super reliable and will keep on and on for 1000s of miles! They may eventually get to a point of needing a service through wearing of gears (for the geared type), But no servicing is ever needed otherwise for as long as it stays alive.
Safety is important, but your obsession with it is very apparent throughout your videos. Have you been in a serious incident in the past? Or someone close to you?

Yes it is, but I found the same horn but better and a little bit cheaper. Link in the description if you want to get one.
@@thepeterparkershow sweet thanks! I’ll take a look. How sensitive is it?
VERY SENSITIVE haha. A little bit too much maybe.
Nice bro, just broke 1200 on my bike and I’m loving it. Just put first new brake pads 👍
Love the in depth reviews!! Can you do a video or say how often you use the super73 and what you use it for? Like for commuting or just small errands?

Sorry to hear that! it will be available soon if not now!
Wth , i didnt expect that close plan on his face with this massive mustache and blond platinium hair 😂
How's it in the rain or snow? Do you have any road spray from the tires in the rain, and will it work fine in the rain
I have heard that it performs well in the rain. I haven’t actually ridden it under the rain (because it never rains here) but Matt from Paris has Ridden it under rain several times. Unless I missed it, can you talk a little about the performance? Is it still the same as new? 28mph top speed? 60 miles range or 70? Thx
Top speed is still 30-33mph. And range is still 32miles with 1 battery (65 miles with 2 batteries)
Love Your Mod !! But The Only Thing I Don't Like Super 73 Is it Need To Be Faster Like Onyx Or The Sur Ron ..
Because Super73s are meant to be legal and not require registration like those bikes do. 😂
Interesting how eu has the gear kit, included!
Will my local Specialized shop be able to install gear ⚙ kit for me?
Definitely possible. Especially if they are familiar with the SUPER73’s!
2K nice Peter 👍 I need to get that same horn + alarm for my super73 RX, thank you for sharing 👊😉⚡🤙
Thanks for the support, dude!
MR Parker. What model is your motor ? Is it v2 or v3 I hear v2s got problems. Not sure what problems tho.
I have a V3 motor. Upgraded from V1 to V3 when my motor gave out and it was covered by the warranty. All S73 bikes now come with the V3 motors. And I haven’t heard of anyone having problems with the V3.
Do you service the bike yourself? Concerned that there are no service centers nearby in California.
Depending in what it is. But for things where i need Bike tools I usually take it to the bike shop
Have been contemplating getting this seat? How comfy is it after having it for a while?
Pretty great. Not the softest but definitely sturdy enough to sit all the way back and not fall off your bike. Although there are some softer out there.

Quick question what happens if u have overpass the Miles’s will it still work while ur still riding the s2
If you go over the top speed you mean? It will just ride until it goes down again to your top speed.
what wire/cord did you use to connect your headlights with the external batteries?
It was a hand made DIY that Kanebilt made specifically for the headlight
Solid build!
