Only around 300 miles as havent been able to get out on it due weather and other commitments. but hopefully long ride next week along the canal near where I live. Great fun bikes though. Lucky enough to get it on the ride to work scheme so saving a bit on price.
300 miles is still good going! Have you noticed anything wearing out or going wrong yet? I didn’t realise you get get it on the cycle to work scheme. That’s good to know
I've been fascinated by these since I first saw a video of one - they look incredibly cool, and reminiscent of some 70's sports moped or the like. Could see myself getting around town on one and I won't lie... I would like one, but they're not exactly cheap, are they?!
Reminds me of the smaller pedalled mopeds of the late 70s (Puch?) - great idea but that low position did seem like it'd be hard on the knees. Not certain of your route if you took 20 miles (there and back?) but that Penzance to Zennor area is lumpy and a good test. Was curious but I may aim for something a bit more upright - very useful review. BTW there does seem to be a soft tail bike from Super73 (the RX)
I know what you mean. I had a Puch push bike up until recently funnily enough. Yes, there and back in a a sort of circular route. Ah yes, the RX looks like a lot of fun but still not massively practical. I’d say going with something more up right is a good idea 🙂 Thanks Paul!
I think it would get uncomfortable after a while because it's so soft. Crushes your junk. That's why road bike seats are hard. Like you say though, it's a knee killer with the riding position.
😆 yeah that's true, even my mountain bike has a pretty hard saddle. It was fine for the first few hours though. I think it would be good to bomb around town with. There's a full suspension version as well, which would be interesting to compare it with. It would be pretty cool to put some long cranks on it too
it's a breath of fresh air to have a different opinion about those bikes over UA-cam ... thanks for your video !
Thank you very much! I’m glad you enjoyed it 🙂
Loved the video! I live in PZ too, I’ve ordered the new super 73 ZX I can’t wait ❤️
Thanks mate! That’s awesome! When’s it arriving?
I own a S2 in London and i use it mainly for fun but also to commute to work which is 11 miles. Great fun bikes.
Ps great video
Wow, that quite a way. How many miles have you done on it now?
And thanks!
