Breaking Bad follows protagonist Walter White (Bryan Cranston), a chemistry teacher who lives in New Mexico with his wife (Anna Gunn) and teenage son (RJ Mitte) who has cerebral palsy. White is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given a prognosis of two years left to live. With a new sense of fearlessness based on his medical prognosis, and a desire to secure his family's financial security, White chooses to enter a dangerous world of drugs and crime and ascends to power in the world. The series explores how a fatal diagnosis such as White's releases a typical man from the daily concerns and constraints of normal society and follows his transformation from mild family man to a kingpin of the drug trade.

Jane is worse at least Jesse had bad parents that wrote him off as a failure before disowning him and kicked him out of his aunts house (that she left for him) so it’s somewhat understandable why he turned to drugs Jane is just a manipulative entitled brat that never grew up past being a stupid teenager despite being a grown woman

Outcome: both tactics failed miserably.

Everyone always seems to leave Jane off the most hated characters list in this show. She was at the top of my list. Worse than Skylar and Marie.
Hell no. Jane was likeable and sympathetic at least, Skyler was insufferable. Jane didn't even do anything wrong when compared with her.

She knew he was very likely into drugs and felt comfortable with him, because he was sensitive and told her about his strained relationship with his parents. But she never really disliked using, so she didn't stay away from him in the first place. It all turned out very immature.
