(Nearly) Complete apartment HAUL! Furniture, Decor and More!

Have you ever wondered how much fun it would be if you could move into a new place and start fresh, decorate with reckless abandon and find your true style? Well that is exactly what we did! I had fun picking out things I have dreamed of buying for a long time like my favorite bed, or a chest of drawers from Hobby Lobby. The downfall? A lot of the furniture we got had to be assembled, it was all way more pricey than I imagined for how it is made (I'm used to antiques that have stayed the test of time) and making the actual decision to do such large orders made my head spin. Art supplies I can buy all day long, but furniture...well, that's a whole other art.. it's the art of shopping. I don't do it well. 🤷‍♀️. Like cooking, my husband is the shopper in the family when it comes to home stuff. I managed to pick out the sofa, coffee table, pantry and bed ... the rest of the place he came home with stuff. Load after load, the never ending boxes. We never want to put another piece of furniture together again... it tests the bounds of matrimony! LOL!!
Style is something we thought we might change up. Did we? Nope. It seems we are farmhouse country at heart. And it is a great thing that Hubs and I have nearly the same taste, a few things I "ughed" about and he held me back on filling our home with frilly fairies and flowers. I got the " You do realize a man lives here?" question. So I got free reign on our bedroom and my office...FLOWERS AND FAIRIES HERE WE GO!!! All the good juju to inspire my art and sweet dreams!
We are massively blessed we have each other, have the same tastes and are capable of truly mixing in our apposing ideas of decor.
