Ever since you mentioned not squeezing the bar before jerk, I've started noticing how relaxed great lifters' hands seem to be in the front rack and jerk. This series is killer content. Love it.
Lovely stuff as always. I'm currently making great progress with leg and back strength along with technical nuances in the olympic lifts. Looking forward to implement some of the ideas in this video once I start to focus more on upper body.
I love static holds. Whether it's bench or front squats, my reps go so much more smoothly after doing them. Your body basically calibrates itself to handle this really heavy weight and as a result it's much smoother when loaded with a lighter weight.
Chinese lifters doing split jerks is cursed. I don't want to watch this. What's next? Tian Tao split Jerk? Lasha Front Squatting? Morris drop the Vodoo?
he is one of those lifters who has great technique in everything, snatch, clean and jerk. Even on his "weakest" lift, which is the clean, his technique is near textbook with a couple of small changes, very talented lifter. Yuri next!
Yes, Yuri! Don't know how he managed to pull 210 with that technique. Very narrow grip for a 110 lifter, hips very high, feet very wide at the start and he barely moved his feet, basically no feet/jump snatch.
You just have to drop, the bar will bounce up like a ball, the timing will then depend on the bar and how it reacts to the weight on it. Cheap bars are very stiff and will give no feedback or spring. Light weight will have less advantage to whip the bar.
I like to see him go against Karlos Nasar so bad. Maybe with the new weight classes. Because Liu Huanhua doesn't like to be 102 and Karlos is to tall for 89.
"Doing a little Nino" Ahaha, laughed out loud.

Your pronunciation is of Liu Huanhua is much better than before!
I would love to see you guys review Lesman Paredes’s snatch.
His lockout is the best I've ever seen. Super powerful
Him, li fabin, and botev have the three best lockouts of all time
8:42 Gurph we've seen him jerk over 230 twice in comp 😂
I was editing and thinking wtf am i talking about
I meant 230s.

You can't go wrong with those two areas 😀
48 seconds ago? Damn. Last time I was this early was my wedding night.
😀😀😀
Nice information bro, stay blessed always 💪
Thanks for watching!

currently my favorite technician
I would love to see a video on varazdat lalayan's snatch. I have always found his technique to be very crisp.

I bet Tian Tao has a lovely split jerk
@@sikastrengthayo
@@sikastrength the most cursed lift I've seen is Hampton Morris sumo deadlifts for one of those Rogue challenges.
@@sikastrength he probably does or can considering how snappy he can move his leg in the power jerk

What benefits (if any) are there in doing Jerk Recovery
You claim to have been thinking about him all week, but do we ever really stop thinking about him?
Do you guy’s recommend training the jerk for someone just lifting recreationally but wanting to be strong and powerful?
