Thank you so much for this video, it really cleared up so many questions I had. With regards to the academic writing, would it be an issue if the piece was more jurisprudential in nature as opposed to 'legal'?

Although it is important to write on a topic you’re passionate about and comfortable with, it is important that you address a topic that would portray your understanding of the law and the Constitution and it’s application if you’ll be choosing a statute to critically analyze.

For example in the dissertation I spoke about in the video I touched on specific provisions in the Constitution that the Act is ‘based on’ that I felt they weren’t given their full context. Such as, freedom of autonomy, privacy and touching at a point on the right to life.
The Constitutional Court’s jurisdiction over the years has been extended and the Court has been hearing more than Constitutional law based cases, remember that also and be creative and concise in your writing, at the end of the day they want to see how you think , analyze and would apply the law.
