  • RE-ENVISION FAMILY, hope you have been good.
In this hearty video I am in conversation with Adv Sinako Lindazwe about her mentorship programme - Sinako We Can. She lets us in and states that she started Sinako We Can in order to affirm others and also help them with putting in the work.
It does not end there, we also talk about pupillage and becoming an advocate in South Africa.
    To learning, unlearning and impact!

Admire young women for the bravery of pursuing your purpose. Did LLB when youtube was not popular nor did we have access. So the 90s and 2000s are very privileged to have access to such inciteful content. Good job ladies

I have watched her UA-cam channel, the "Sinako-We can". Its when she said in the last video that "These things are for the people". In a sense that all these opportunities are for the people but people they do not know them.

Alungile!!!!! So good. I love her. That's what her new platform "In my Lawful Experience" seeks to do, inform the people.

    May I please ask..
    1. Why can't a SC take pupils?
    2. When you are part of a group of advocates, does this mean they'll assist you with getting briefs?

I will have to ask Advocate Sinako to answer this.

this is my own opinion on this question...
but to answer you I'd say it's because Senior Counsel's are deemed to be dealing with the more complicated cases, which might be confusing to a pupil who just came out of Varsity...
So as a Pupil you expected to learn more on the basics of being an Advocate, yes you might be tasked to assist on a difficult mater by your mentor that we cannot run away from but the fact still remains that you need to learn the basics and then grow into the more difficult cases..
