Love this. My sister clerked at the Con Court in 2020. Interviewed by DCJ but ended up working for Justice Jafta and she had an amazing experience. Also, she studied at Unisa and got accepted at the CC with just an LLB, having only applied once (this is to encourage Unisa students who may be doubtful about applying).

The applications for the Court are made available on the Court's website here www.concourt.org.za/index.php/law-researchers/about-law-clerks. The applications usually close on 31 March each year and the relevant email address to send your application is applications@concourt.org.za. However, applications aren't open the whole year, they usually open around December / Jan of each year.

Hi Gomo. No, you need a LLB to apply at the Court. Vacancies can be found on the Office of the Chief Justice website. Hope this helps
Hi, if I may ask, do you have to be an admitted Attorney in order to clerk at the Con Court? If not, if you want to be an Attorney after having clerked there, do you still have to go through articles of clerkship with a Law firm?

No you do not have to be admitted to clerk at the Constitutional Court, you just need to have an LLB. That means you can clerk at the Court straight after your final year.
If you want to be an Admitted Attorney, you have to either do 1 year of articles (if you do full time Practical Legal Training) or two years of articles (if you do part-time Practical Legal Training).

Yes babe. But I think all public service employment salaries are publicly available

Hi Naledi. You get paid babe. Depends on the law firm how much you get paid ❤️
Okay so I am finishing my bcom soon after that I want to Study LLB. Is there some job I can get whilst studying LLB something to be busy with to be able to pay for my LLB fees and get a job with my bcom law degree where can I apply with my bcom law degree
