No words Daniel. And the snare? C'mon. Christopher Bear suprasses himself. This day was going really bad until I heard this song. That's the power you have. Please keep sharing it with us
Shadow in the Frame already blew me away but this is something else. I ADORED the demo of this song back in the Vote Ready fundraiser and I was so eager to hear the studio version. The mixing and production on this one is so beautiful. The added percussion and instrumentations add such a richness to the way this song feels, it's gorgeous. It just swallows me up. Can't wait to buy this album when it comes out. Probably the most excited I've been about a project in years.
Man beautiful, this experience is like listening for the first time Gabor Szabo Galateas Guitar or La leyenda del tiempo of Camaron de la Isla, instant magic!
10 listens in so far and its just as incredible and breathtaking. One of the greatest songs I've ever heard and I'm not the least bit surprised because it was written by the dude that just continues to nail it song after song; he always delivers an emotional rollercoaster. We're very lucky to have his music
Stellar track! I already liked the acoustic but this is something else! Amazing arrangements, it's so well crafted especially the drums part, can't wait for the full album to drop and the live show ofc :D
Thank you so much Daniel for making such a great album. So inspiring and poetic. I'm speechless. Pure beauty. Yesterday I've started to learn to play this song on guitar! Thank you again for such a great and hard work done. All best.
Fabulous work! Your melodic ideas, arrangement, choice of instruments and more, are so unique and compelling. Even hear a bit of Philip Glass in your work. Great stuff!
Yes! A gem to be savored over and over. The dynamics and soundstage are amazing on a good sound system. Beautiful harmonies and as always, the guitar and drums are so intricately played. Support the artists, go to their shows, buy their merch!
Amazing. The acoustic solo demo of this song already contained all parts!! Crazy that he played all lines with one guitar. I like both version very much. As is said before.. I would love to hear a Daniel Rossen solo guitar/voc album (with all the unreleased songs he did not yet release also)
Daniel, your music is heartbreakingly beautiful and so greatly composed. The guitar work is awe-inspiring and I sincerely want to have your full-length album soon. Sending you lots of Love and Respect from Seoul.
Love the song but I think that this studio version is oversaturated with too many sounds that just cover the true beauty of it up. The core of it... that complex guitar part and Daniel's vocals should stand out more in the mix. Also too heavy reverb on the vocals. Id rather hear it in more intimate, early Elliott Smith execution thats why I can't wait for the tour. Still a superb piece.

Completely agree; this song makes me feel as if I’ve been snatched up and wrung by the elements.
are u a mixing and production expert?
@@iansmith8263 doesn't take an expert to tell the production is sublime, you know, people have ears.
CHRISSS BEARRRR

3:48 in case anyone needs to repeat that flash of steel guitar like I did. One of the most astounding musical moments I’ve heard in some time

It's very good. Has a fantastic subtlety and restlessness. Makes you want to keep relistening to try to pin it down.
