I walked into my bookstore last week and saw that they had a large stock of the limited editions and I thought, it's only two pounds extra, so I got it! I opened it in the bus station but I didn't look at the poster till I got home and I squealed so loud! Best purchase ever! Also, I love that the art comes in postcard form but I don't think anyone is actually going to use them as postcards, I'm currently looking for a frame for all of them to put them on my wall
I picked up my copy just yesterday (and the 4th book of Scum Villain.) I cannot wait to read it. Also, Lan Wangji was jealous of his own sword. 😅 MXTX did not have a peaceful day after writing that.
To me the Wangxian confession scene was the best written in a very emotional way. Especially with the scenes that lead up to that moment. Wangxian is just so deserving for their happy ending! And I'm glad they got it in the end!
Omg the art is so gorgeous! I can't wait to have them on my walls. I think it was time for them to have a cover that screamed +18 lol TGCF always gets the kiss on the cover yet they are the ones that aren't explicit 😂 not that i complain... But WangXian deserved those covers too
I enjoy the explicit scenes of mdzs but honestly I kinda like that tgcf didn't have them? The way love is portrayed in tgcf is just so damn romantic, pure and beautiful. There was so much yearning, selfless devotion and my god the sexual tension 😂. Yes mdzs had all the sexy smut but tgcf holds a special place in my heart for being the most romantically written. Plus we have implied scenes and fanart from official artists etc. Enough for our imagination to run wild on 😏

Vol 5 seems to be the miracle volume because amazon got it in the post on the day it is released and it's supposed to be in my hands within days. One of the few volumes where I haven't ended up on the phone with someone in the US who can't explain to me why they didn't ship my book when it was released and then have the nerve to tell me there is no stock while they're still selling it online. The relief and celebration when this volume arrives will be immense - the full collection, the extra goodies, and hopefully more of that unique Kictor style in sharing the contents. Now we just have to gird our loins and push on for the final volumes of TGCF. But I've learned that pre ordering is a nightmare and now my options are amazon or extra expensive copies from places in the UK or Canada. So please continue to share your joy for those of us who have found getting the MXTX books to be an exhausting and frustrating experience. I still have the metal door latch that amazon us sent me instead of one of my books. It's been a ride.

I have been trying to record myself to see my own reaction with opening the Amazon package but once again, my parents called me to try and order something in my Amazon and then I got into a stupid fight with my dad and then I accidentally deleted the video of me being excited with opening getting ready to open the package and then had to make a new one only to be called down for dinner and get ready for bed. Right now though it’s 5:40 and now I will go and get ready for a class at 9:00 and try to make the video during then. Wish me luck I just want to read my book man Edit: welp, finaly opened and finished making the videos. Now I just need to post about….. 12 videos
