2Ha isn't a easy history to read, it's true. But, is one of the best novels i've ever read. The development of they relationship over the 3 books, the little changes of Mo ran in his point of view about Chu WanNing, the discoveries we makes about the history, everything is increrable. For me 2HA is more than a love history, is a journey about forgiveness, about facing your worst side, about life's difficulties, and the search for happiness, and that's why it's worth it. Spoilers: According to him whatever he gets(affection or physical intimacy, he was very much active in physical intimacy in brothel and after coming to his sect with both men and women) he doesn't care whatever or whoever gives him love or intimacy because people like him can't afford to choose...so he doesn't understand love. You will know this when you will get to know his character throughout the storyline
@@hyunjintwice6394 it's not qui t e a love triangle, I wouldn't necessarily call it something central or major, Meatbun herself says in the authors notes of the first few chapters not to be mistaken because she hates love triangles hJASHDAS it's kind of hard to explain, in the beginning it is said that Mo Ran does have a crush on Shi Mei in his first lifetime, and then Shi Mei dies in a fight which results in Mo Ran aggressively accusing Chu Wanning for his death. As the synopsis says, when Mo Ran comes back to life in his younger body, he gets a second chance at life, and he is almost immediately starting to reevaluate everything he knew in his first life. Mo Ran does still have lots of dumb dog moments tho

I won’t explain too much on this cause I don’t want to enter spoiler territory, but there is an explanation to Mo Ran’s infatuation to Shi Mei. If you don’t like weird love triangle, it may be a bit hard in the beginning (was for me, but the story was so good I kept going), but like the comment above say, it’s not the core of the story and Mo Ran does take a step back and use his husky brain to reevaluate in his second life. So yea, do read 2Ha, it’ll warm and break your heart in so many ways, 11/10
The fact while I was reading 2ha I spoiled myself so much that I knew who the villain was their motto and their reasons and also about side characters. I thought what can this novel still provide me but continued reading it and believe me no matter how much you are spoiled continue reading it because the story has so much to offer. Till the end, I was surprised by the plot and things that were revealed. If you think you already know everything because of a few spoilers then you are wrong. This book just blew my mind and took me a few months to come out of it.

SPO*LERS Mo Ran consumed a flower of everlasting hatred which removed all his positive memories and feelings and left only negative ones. Whoever consumes it falls in love or thinks they are in love with the owner of the flower. As Shi Mei was the owner of the flower Mo Ran thoughts he is in love with Shi Mei. Mo Ran forgot all his beautiful memories and feelings for Chu Wanning. You will love the reason why he consumes that flower ( related to Chu Wanning). Even though I gave you this info there are still amazing plots and reasons. Both Chu Wanning and Mo Ran sacrifice a lot for each other even their own life. You must read this masterpiece and don't mind those weird spoilers because when you read this novel everything will make sense and you will love it.

All of their interactions gave me all the feels. It made me internally squeal, but also gave me so much sadness and longing. What makes me so sad is how ChuWanning sees himself: as someone not worthy of love and friendships. Made me cry at 3m when i finished. Had to stay in bed the rest of day, I was not emotionally okay 🥺🥺

I read 2Ha online awhile ago. Translation was crude, annoying and confusing. This newly released book is INCREDIBLY good. Altho I was originally drawn in by the story, the latest translation does amazing justice to the author, and itself is a great literary achievement. I confess. I’m a writer, and a picky one who doesn’t like romance. But I was, to use a clumsy cliché, “blown away” by this English version. For anyone into danmei, adventure or clever cheeky writing, you will NOT be disappointed. I immediately ordered the next books in the series, which hopefully will be translated by this first book’s same crew. Kictor! Good job reading. My only hope is that the 8 times “IMMORTALITY” failed the Chinese censors haven’t given the final PASS to a completely different story. Also hope the director keeps the cut footage to fix it later. This was my first danmei. Just before the pandemic hit, I was on Pinterest storyboarding my novel, like you do, when a number of lovely images kept coming through my feed and catching my eye every time, and I had to investigate. They turned out to be fan arts of 2ha. When I found a description of the novel, my interest was soundly piqued. A rabbit-hole of links led me to a translation just as the first lockdown started, and I had nothing but time to read this long-ass web novel. I binged it over several days and when I got to the end... you know how some books can leave you sort of shell-shocked and wondering what the hell just happened to you? Paradigm shift. Nothing would ever be the same. (Of course, I needed more, and the next thing that looked interesting was MDZS, which sounded suspiciously like a show I had queued in Netflix because it looked interesting but hadn't watched yet. That was indeed The Untamed. I ultimately got much more invested in MDZS, but without 2ha, I might not have found it. I'd probably have watched The Untamed, but not known what it really was.) Sorry this got long-winded. I love your channel and I wish you luck on your 2ha journey. This book deals with some hefty themes. I read it as an examination of some of the toxic attitudes that can develop in a prudishly repressive society (which is most if not all of them, unfortunately.) Since you're not new to the genre, it might not give you quite the existential crisis it gave me... but brace yourself anyway.

For the ones that read the whole book it was hard because some chapters, so much angst and hard stuff. I'm a fast reader and I dropped about 3 times until decide to finished and you understand everything. Why Moran was an a**** , all the sacrifice, the misunderstanding. I don't know how Meat wrote this book because it's huge!! Just be mentally prepared but overall it's an amazing book.

Oh man I so love this book XD I remember getting halfway through it before the translation stopped, but I enjoyed it a lot. What Mo Ran did in his past life was so cruel, and my fav moment is when the he realizes what a shitty person he had been and starts to treasure this wonderful man Chu Wanning. Mannnn I can't wait for all the volumes to come out. Just 2 right? Hopefully the second will be out by late spring at the latest :3 Edit: I think I just found out it's actually 4, volumes and the 4th won't come out until August 2023. A little sad but I've waited longer for a book before

Ahh I just finished 2ha book 1 and I'm soo excited to read the next part in January!! That's so true about the POV switches, they really make such a difference! TGCF is the only other danmei novel I've read all the way through and I love how both 2ha and tgcf play with timelines and when they reveal/don't reveal the details of said timelines - makes it very ~mysterious~
I'm happy that you enjoy 2ha and you're out of the judgement of people who say that the book is "toxic" and "sad". The book isn't romance based but it has beautifully moments which are unforgettable.
The last part you read in the book made me rethink matters in the real world. I gotta say. The author is so talented in making something casual into something so romantically sweet.
Honestly this whole story was stunning. It was so well written and I got so emotionally invested, so much happens and it’s a real mind bender at time ❤

That's very interesting. The only thing I know about this novel from fan reaction is that it's torture and many other things that I probably can't mention here. And that torture is the big ticket item for the author, the more suffering and betrayal the better. I find it hard to imagine romantic, loving and beautiful as a description when I've only ever seen it described as constant revenge. I guess there is more to the book but I've never seen any fan commentary that isn't about the really dark stuff, so I also found it hard to imagine what would be left to make into a drama.
The book is very very long and yes, some of the tragic scenes stick out more in the memory than others, which I think it why people focus on those, but the book is an epic and features adventure, romance, comedy, and yes, horror and tragedy. The main theme of the book is about overcoming false narratives and learning to do good and be a good person, even when it's the hardest thing possible. And the main romance is very angsty, but it's also very sweet and slow burn and has a fulfilling happy ending. I also just love how much the story goes into the side characters as well and their relationships with the main characters. Basically, there's a lot to this novel and it's very much worth a read. It will make you laugh and cry and yell and love the characters.
This book has fucked me up so bad. It's been 5 months and I still can't stop thinking about CW and MR. This is probably my favourite danmei of all time and it will take *a lot* for another one to usurp the space it occupies in my head.

Some time ago I started reading 2ha online but stopped it because of the very bad translation. Now I have the book and enjoy it very much. There are so many different feelings simultaneously within Mo Ran, he wants Chu Wanning to die terribly but at the same time he cares for him. And Chu Wanning? I have to find out because I'm only at chapter 31. Seven Seas announced last week that Meatbun's two other novels will be released next year. - Another topic: on Nov 7 the first volume of the GDF manhua has been released in Germany containing a beautiful bookmark of Lan Zhan. Now the German publisher announced that the book was completely sold out only after one week and has to be reprinted next year.

As for 2Ha all I can say is that when I read it a year ago or something it became my favourite novel because 2ha reading experience is completely different from those mxtx or other authors novels even though mxtx author is also my favourite but man 2Ha hits you so deep in your heart you can't help but love it, its totally different rollar coaster of feelings and emotions.
Reading Erha is the best worst mistake one could ever make.

I read 2Ha online awhile ago. Translation was crude, annoying and confusing. This newly released book is INCREDIBLY good. Altho I was originally drawn in by the story, the latest translation does amazing justice to the author, and itself is a great literary achievement. I confess. I’m a writer, and a picky one who doesn’t like romance. But I was, to use a clumsy cliché, “blown away” by this English version. For anyone into danmei, adventure or clever cheeky writing, you will NOT be disappointed. I immediately ordered the next books in the series, which hopefully will be translated by this first book’s same crew. Kictor! Good job reading. My only hope is that the 8 times “IMMORTALITY” failed the Chinese censors haven’t given the final PASS to a completely different story. Also hope the director keeps the cut footage to fix it later. honestly, the book 1 is my favourite, I read this novel for the second time and I cant hold my tears, when I already know all the story it hits harder
It's these scenes that help you through all the pain of angsty events and frustration from all the misunderstandings
Having both of their POVs is a blessing, I love them so much and I don't even finish reading the novel

This was my first danmei. Just before the pandemic hit, I was on Pinterest storyboarding my novel, like you do, when a number of lovely images kept coming through my feed and catching my eye every time, and I had to investigate. They turned out to be fan arts of 2ha. When I found a description of the novel, my interest was soundly piqued. A rabbit-hole of links led me to a translation just as the first lockdown started, and I had nothing but time to read this long-ass web novel. I binged it over several days and when I got to the end... you know how some books can leave you sort of shell-shocked and wondering what the hell just happened to you? Paradigm shift. Nothing would ever be the same.
(Of course, I needed more, and the next thing that looked interesting was MDZS, which sounded suspiciously like a show I had queued in Netflix because it looked interesting but hadn't watched yet. That was indeed The Untamed. I ultimately got much more invested in MDZS, but without 2ha, I might not have found it. I'd probably have watched The Untamed, but not known what it really was.)
Sorry this got long-winded. I love your channel and I wish you luck on your 2ha journey. This book deals with some hefty themes. I read it as an examination of some of the toxic attitudes that can develop in a prudishly repressive society (which is most if not all of them, unfortunately.) Since you're not new to the genre, it might not give you quite the existential crisis it gave me... but brace yourself anyway.

For the ones that read the whole book it was hard because some chapters, so much angst and hard stuff. I'm a fast reader and I dropped about 3 times until decide to finished and you understand everything. Why Moran was an a**** , all the sacrifice, the misunderstanding. I don't know how Meat wrote this book because it's huge!! Just be mentally prepared but overall it's an amazing book.

I read it like years ago , English translation was barely there but a fellow fan send me a personalized translation to me on doc. Format, which iam very grateful. Finished it within a week. It was huge emotional rollercoaster! 🤧🤌. But it was worth it .
I suggest you guys read the other novels like Guardian, mo dao zu shi , heaven's official blessings and svsss. Sooooooo good . Ending is 100000 % worth it !!!

Although for 2ha, I've already heard that there's trigger warning before reading it, I thought it wouldn't be that bad but, I guess I underestimated the trigger. That's why I stopped reading it for awhile until I can calm myself down after the emotional trigger. But I definitely would want to finish it someday

I finished reading TGCF (my first Danmei novel) and I still don't process the fact that it ended. Oh man I so love this book XD I remember getting halfway through it before the translation stopped, but I enjoyed it a lot. What Mo Ran did in his past life was so cruel, and my fav moment is when the he realizes what a shitty person he had been and starts to treasure this wonderful man Chu Wanning. Mannnn I can't wait for all the volumes to come out. Just 2 right? Hopefully the second will be out by late spring at the latest :3
Edit: I think I just found out it's actually 4, volumes and the 4th won't come out until August 2023. A little sad but I've waited longer for a book before

Ahh I just finished 2ha book 1 and I'm soo excited to read the next part in January!! That's so true about the POV switches, they really make such a difference! TGCF is the only other danmei novel I've read all the way through and I love how both 2ha and tgcf play with timelines and when they reveal/don't reveal the details of said timelines - makes it very ~mysterious~
I'm happy that you enjoy 2ha and you're out of the judgement of people who say that the book is "toxic" and "sad". The book isn't romance based but it has beautifully moments which are unforgettable.
The last part you read in the book made me rethink matters in the real world. I gotta say. The author is so talented in making something casual into something so romantically sweet.

Oh, i remember those scenes...These angsty but loving moments are genuinely one of its strong points. Although not one of my favourite damneis (oh the ending...), it still amazes me how well-done scenes like these are written, also the characterization is very on point. That's very interesting. The only thing I know about this novel from fan reaction is that it's torture and many other things that I probably can't mention here. And that torture is the big ticket item for the author, the more suffering and betrayal the better. I find it hard to imagine romantic, loving and beautiful as a description when I've only ever seen it described as constant revenge. I guess there is more to the book but I've never seen any fan commentary that isn't about the really dark stuff, so I also found it hard to imagine what would be left to make into a drama.
The book is very very long and yes, some of the tragic scenes stick out more in the memory than others, which I think it why people focus on those, but the book is an epic and features adventure, romance, comedy, and yes, horror and tragedy. The main theme of the book is about overcoming false narratives and learning to do good and be a good person, even when it's the hardest thing possible. And the main romance is very angsty, but it's also very sweet and slow burn and has a fulfilling happy ending. I also just love how much the story goes into the side characters as well and their relationships with the main characters. Basically, there's a lot to this novel and it's very much worth a read. It will make you laugh and cry and yell and love the characters.

Some time ago I started reading 2ha online but stopped it because of the very bad translation. Now I have the book and enjoy it very much. There are so many different feelings simultaneously within Mo Ran, he wants Chu Wanning to die terribly but at the same time he cares for him. And Chu Wanning? I have to find out because I'm only at chapter 31. Seven Seas announced last week that Meatbun's two other novels will be released next year. - Another topic: on Nov 7 the first volume of the GDF manhua has been released in Germany containing a beautiful bookmark of Lan Zhan. Now the German publisher announced that the book was completely sold out only after one week and has to be reprinted next year.
2ha is the best bl novel! You can read and reread it (5 time so far for me) and still be totally captivated! Taxian Jun ❤❤❤
