This 'turning away' FROM Light was the very moment Adam ate of the Tree God warned him nót to eat ! The seed are in the men. When the seed of Adam got corrupted, all of mankind were spontaneous included in his seed. We all got alianated in our minds.. forgot the Rock we were hewn. Then Jesus was sent as the last Adam to undo all that went wrong in the first Adam. Rom 5:12-21 Grace vs the law.

I struggle with John. I much prefer the synoptic gospels.

Most of the gospels are still Old Test, as Jesus was born under the law. The New starts with Acts 2, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit. Trust you are born again.. John 3:1-3 🤔

Christ the Son and Word is obviously a part of everyone's lives where they know him or not...
The point is, and the good news of the gospel itself (which is Himself) is that we may now be relationally reconciled to Him - In Him - and through Him.
Regeneration and the transference from one Kingdom into another is not merely a matter of 'perceiving' what has already taken place for us personally... For we were really (individually) actually abiding in one kingdom, and then are actually transferred - at the point of conversion - into the other.
Yes Christ The Creator and Redeemer has already redeemed and recreated everyone... But this remains pure Potential until we receive Him. (if not, notice the danger of falling into the notion of self realisation / enlightenment similar to that of Advaitan and much New Age thought at this point)
"If anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ - he does not belong to Christ"
    - St Paul
"En Christos" or out of Christ is not a construct of the proud elitist mind of man, but a revelation from God about the nature of reality from His perspective.
Itching ears folks... Do not be deceived. Eastern and Oriental Orthodoxy, and, to some degree, Catholic and Protestant thought, already holds the balance and the beauty of all of this without having to resort to novel teaching or God having to be seen to sovereignly "determine" in a western Augustinian / Calvinistic or (ironically) Universalist sense.
Yes Lord, help me in my unbelief
Humility is the greatest thing... for the "us and them" mentality is often negative and destructive and fails to see the image of God in all. Truly all goodness, beauty, wisdom and light - wherever it is found - comes from Him Who "lightens every man coming into the world", but He is the fullfilment of all religion and pure philosophy and we need to be born again of His Spirit - without which / Whom we cannot "discern spiritual things". For the man without the Spirit of God does not understand the things that come from the Spirit of God.
Abiding in the finished work is not burdensome... It is true rest... but we must continue to choose life and light, for none are eternally "secure" until they are securely in eternity...
But His mercy undures forever !
    Xx

Christ alreády is inside all of us. Col 3:11 Efes 4:6. 1Cor 15:28 Col 1:26-27
Just as king David one day had an awareness of his kingship (2Sam 5:12), só we need to become aware of His indwelling presence inside of us! Jak 1:21
The well is inside of us, do not look outside. We were made óne in Himself at the cross. It's only the carnal mind that still pictures distance. John 17:22,23 + 14:20 IT IS FINISHED!

Thank you, but as a born again believer in Jesus Christ I very well know what rebirth means. Jesus addressed this in John 3:16,17 and the Holy spirit in Rom 2:29. Blessings!

This talk includes interpretations of the gospel that are at variance with the orthodox understanding of it. If you listen to it, be careful not to be misled.

At variance how exactly? This line of thought is built precisely on top of the teaching of the patristic fathers. What could be more "orthodox" than that?

When I first heard "The Gospel-without separation", it WAS a little scary for some reason. It took me a little while to discover it was scary to my religious-self. Jesus scares religion. He finally scared it right out of me. Jesus is IN me, and gracefully tolerated my religion for decades. Never condemning me for my silliness of holding to it rather than Him. If there was anything misleading me, it wasn't Jesus! Rather it was Darby&Scoffield&Augustine. I don't condemn them though. They were simply mislead too. Religion can do that.

In the physical world God broke a natural law. To do that he broke a Spiritual law. Guess what he showed me. God causes Adam to eat the fruit. And emptied himself out right there in the garden so Adam could die with his bride. And so God sent his Son into the world to die as Adam as like said was the Son of God as in the beginning was the logos. And the Word became flesh. Thats Paul’s fullness of the gospel. The accusation original sin. Man appointed by God accusing his own likeness and image his own flesh and blood.
    Moses accuses
    Jesus does not.
    So we have 2 Gods.
    Law that demands retribution.
And Christ’s who cancels the debt by fulfilling shedding his blood to appease the law. A graven image. Which is why when Moses saw the calf. The law produces accusation in his mind. He broke his engraved image before he could accuse. As the mediator. As Paul says.

      @eekay5710 2 роки тому

No, we definitely do not have '2 Gods' as you have it. Only one living God: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.. and mankind is included in the life of the Trinity, all because of Jesus. Always was..
