I mean working at Amazon might sucks but being broke with bills do is WAY worse. Either work at amazon or lose my house and car. Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
If you depend on Amazon to pay your car and home and don’t have passive income you already took the L

@@georgediaz4589 well i work 3 days a week and am off for 4 days a week. I also own a brand new house. Am i really losing without passive income? I am extremely happy in life as well. Life isn’t all about money!
Brainwashed I'd rather not work at amazon hell.
@@pinkdoll7256 brainwashed how? We all have to work for a living right? I enjoy my job and can pay my bills easily while only working 12 days a month. Sorry for being happy about my situation
aht don’t knock it until you try it i work for Amazon and have no regrets and quitting is not even on my mind
Working at a warehouse for Amazon is horrible. I got hired last year but quit after just one day, I stowed packages the job was annoying and physically draining. Since then I avoid ordering stuff on Amazon bc I know what the warehouse employees go through.
Yea I’m thinking the same thing. Unfortunately most people that have issues with amazon culture continue on with their prime membership.
I'm w/you. I work at a Delivery station and I don't order from Amazon anymore. I don't want to put another employee through what we go through each day all to receive a dang can opener the next day.
Thanks for sharing all this info! Appreciate you taking the time to explain it clearly. I hope people realize how 1-2 day shipping affects the people behind the scenes.
For the pre hire appointment I know we have to bring two forms of identification but do they accept birth certificates or only ID’s?
I've been at an FC for 4 years. It's warehouse work. It's fast paced and it can be taxing on your body depending on what position you have. You get decent pay, benefits on day 1, you get paid time and unpaid time and start earning vacation day 1. You also get tuition assistance after a year and classes available if you're considering moving up
What positions have you been working.
There’s not enough time off tho…
@@bigbananas13 yeah the pto is a joke but I guess it's good for the us lol
I have never had any problems with my health from working with Amazon I absolutely love my job..
Do you work at the fullfillment center, sortation center or delivery center ?? What’s better ? I’m trying to figure out which one I should work at
Brainwashed.
@@tovah8841 don't work there run!
Great video! I was always curious about that
Is the delivery station position hard? What happens if the package or item is bigger than you? Do you have someone to help you move the big items/boxes?
I work at a Delivery station...it all depends who is around you. During picking the answer is No to your question. Once again it all depends who is around you, but for the most part you will have to lift your own packages.
I work at a sortation center, not warehouse at Amazon so theres only 4 hour shifts unless you pick another shift up thats available.
Nice that sounds like something I’d prefer
@@Gignation yea look into one nearby every month or so in mine i can put in a shift choice option on the A to Z and try and get that morning schedule i want and do some gig nation gigs.
Do they give u a training period to get the hang of things? Do they expect u to be to par coming out the gate?
You have a week of training. Essentially you are working during that time but while shadowing someone that has been there for a while.
@@Gignation thanks
So, you can choose which position you want a Amazon? I was told you have to take what they give you.
Well that’s kind of true. But the type of role will depend on which facility you are at so if you place yourself right you are more likely to be sorting small packages as opposed to moving large ones like I do.
When you apply online there are different schedules and positions you choose from.
@@dodgeballface3663 thnks
Do you have to go through a metal detector or get searched while working at Amazon ?
At the main facility they had one but not at the warehouse that I worked at.
Amazon is way better than Walmart I’m sure!!! My start date is July 11 with Amazon it’s not my career so I’m good!!! U have to consider a lot with working anywhere!! It’s a step just before my goals of becoming an entrepreneur thanks tho!!!
Absolutely! I haven’t worked at Walmart just throwing it out there.. There are definitely good roles at Amazon, personally I enjoy keeping busy there!
Get better options than either Amazon or Walmart.
Are you by chance starting at DEN4? I start July 11 as well
It’s really not 😂🤣 say that again in peak season
Lol... I worked 68 hours a week at a rubber factory.... Amazon is cake.
i had a six pack shreded muscle lean working there.
Yea it’s great exercise
Think long and hard 🤣 ayooooooo pauseeee jajajaja . 4:45 good content my guy . Your earn my sub and like . Mr long and hard 🤣🤣
To each his own
If this job were under a different company name, just a regular warehouse job at a shipping company, it wouldn’t get half the number of applicants
And the turnover wouldn’t be nearly as high because people would be more familiar with what they’re getting into
The only benefit I see here is that you get your foot in the door and two you get to do shifts when delivery gig services are over for the night. Doing 12-16 hours a week is not going to kill you and might be a nice change of pace. I can't see anyone trying to do 40+ hours a week surviving at all. LOL!
Yup exactly its decent part time and there are opportunities
I will be driving 41 miles one way which equates to 1 hour each way.
Same and with a truck haha
You're right in what you say about Amazon in regards to "Turnover rates", people are constantly leaving and almost every job board they're there.
Just recently I was told that now the full time workers are now doing 11hrs
Its just crazy
soo everytime i apply to the amazon delivery station near me . it takes me to another town. like what the hell. misleading as fuck. why do they keep doing this
Get your cdl
You need to glue yourself to the road outside amazon warehouse aswell
I was deactivated because a 3rd customer reported there groceries not delivered!! Even with evidence IC support didn’t accept my appeal and I had to pay #larktech
I quit Amazon warehouse job on my first day not even entering Amazon building 😂🤣😂
Some people just know lol
I should’ve now I’m fucked w 40 hours a week
Do they require the vaccine to new employees ?
No,they are covid friendly, sweet n sour sniffles for ALL!!!!!FREEDUMB!! SMH

I signed up for Amazon Flex a year ago and still haven’t heard back.
Yea they’ll do that, took me 6 months in Seattle
Most of the amazon flex job are going to Amazon DSP (delivery service provider) because they couldn't meet the 2019-2020 demands with just flex drivers with regular cars.
Didn't think you were going to last long at Amazon.
Actually kinda enjoy it other than working at night
You just didn't strike me as someone that was going like the structure since you're used to doing your own gigs. You defiantly don't get to call your own shots in job like Amazon. Maybe it's the structure you needed.
Sounds like your looking for a secretary job..Although,that could be hard in your body...
Lol I think I’ll keep my CEO job
The pay seems terrible for your area.. specially with Seattle traffic🤮.
Moved out of Seattle so that explains part of it, would like be a few bucks per hour better there
@@Gignation Well that kind of makes sense. Is this in Tacoma?
No I’m in Jacksonville, FL for a year
I need your help
How can I help?
@@Gignation Thank you for replying!
So whenever i try to uploaded my driver’s license photo they just don’t approve it it’s not even expired or broken from anywhere . Whenever i click photo of my driver’s license it comes out clear and focused but when i click upload it gets blurry so what do i do i have i phone 11 pro max. I want to do job in Amazon Flex. I’m talking about that. Just letting you know🙂. Please help me.
It’s been a while since I’ve done flex. Their pre hire support is terrible… honestly not sure how to help you there
@@Gignation No problem. Thank You!
I have been hired and all these reviews make me want to decline the job offer. 😞
Wimp!
It’s worth trying
try it first. Give it 30 days and then if you don't like the job resign on the A to Z app. Everyone's experience is different
Amazon seems like a dream job at first but trying new positions within the company isn't based on hard work or senority. Hard workers don't last long while slow workers get easier task and therefore last longer.
I never understood how sorry workers make it at warehouse jobs. It's ass-backwards.
you are so correct. I see slow showers all the time and get the easy jobs , but people who stow fast are always sent to clear other lanes and then some.
Does amazon still conduct pre employment drug test for weed.
Yea I was tested
Not in Washington state they treat it the same as alcohol....they will test you for pot if your a driver or operate a fork truck or something like that
Thanks you just saved me from applying to Amazon. Dosent sound worth it 👌
I would just consider all of your options first, it makes sense with the right role for some people.
I work at a sortation center at Amazon so theres only 4 hour shifts unless you pick another shift up thats available. Maybe that's more your ally
@@AnonymousGuy-ij3xi how is the sortation center ??? Hard ???
@@tovah8841It's a complicated question because managers at the Sortation Center I was seem to change others job titles at to much. And do lazy employees work for them. At the fulfillment center, I'm at now, there's full time, part time is way better and more busy managers and employees.
@@AnonymousGuy-ij3xi what about delivery station?? You know any info about that??
took the $19 12 hour 3 day a week shift. I am picking so............sorry i guess?
How are you liking it so far? I just started and I’m so-so about it. Grueling job but not the worst thing ever. Really not a fan of the 2:30-1:00 shift
So how is working at amazon 12 hours a day working out for you ?
Still like it ?
OMG! Get a better job. I dunno if I would have lasted a day. LOL
He is only working 4 hour shifts LOL. I wouldn't take that job. Especially 20 miles away.
Amazon ,Lacey, Wa. DO NOT WORK THERE . Tasha makes workers hate their jobs, she breaks every rule, she says.soecially the 6 foot rule...i quit because of it....let patrick the engineer know know, he will look into it
Lazy people hate working at Amazon.
Yea I’d prefer to work in machine learning and write programs to work for me. But if you want a workout and low pay amazon is cool.
I was deactivated because a 3rd customer reported there groceries not delivered!! Even with evidence IC support didn’t accept my appeal and I had to pay #larktech
