Why I Quit Amazon

- First Video! I wanted to give my experience working at Amazon, and the reasons why I decided to leave. My main reason were personal, but, there were a few things within the company, or at least at the fulfillment center that I worked at that played a part as well. I hope this helps anyone who is curious about working at a fulfillment center!

Me sitting here, on my lunch break at Amazon...working a 12 hour night shift lol.
Yeah the Amazon warehouses are a depressing environment. Most people cannot last more than a few months. Btw you have beautiful eyes. Very calming
I was a janitor for 12 years before I finally got my first non-cleaning job. It was Amazon. I was so relieved. I was very happy there. They told me I was not picking enough items per hour, and I wasn't getting back quickly enough to my forklift after my break, but then I figured things out, and everything was okay. I was there for six months. I got fired for falling asleep on the forklift and hitting a column. It happened twice. Now I'm back to being a janitor.
The good about Amazon is, if you get fired or you just quit, they WILL hire you again. Unless‼️🚨 you did something horrible or break the law. You can transfer to another FC after 30 days, ask to be cross-trained for another department etc etc. NEVER EVER be afraid of getting fired, life goes on, sometimes it can lead you to better things, give you a new look into your life/situation.
Worst place I ever worked. Now I'm making more money and it's way less stress.
You actually said what I would have said. Have 2 little kids and working nights till early morning. Quitting after 4 days. Praying for another opportunity for me. Bless you momma! You awesome!
I literally started Thursday and quit Sunday. I was given the position of order picker and I looked up so many UA-cam videos before starting to see what my job would entail, and I saw only videos of people picking the pods that the robots would bring to them. Then when I started my first day, and they put me on that forklift machine, I said HELL NO. I’m terrified of heights and that machine gave me so much anxiety. I had to get out of there. I couldn’t do it.
I love how so many ex/employees are blasting Amazon on UA-cam. Boycott Amazon!
Amazon is a huge company that makes a lot of money why not pay better and don’t treat employee like a crap I worked for amazon and today is my last day and I am so happy I am leaving the company that doesn’t care about their employee
I tell everyone don't work at amazon. They are brutal and they don't care. 15 dollars and hour for the amount of work they expect from you is redicoulous. Your better off working at Wal-Mart at least you have energy at end of you shift
I was only going to work at Amazon for a bit, until I found something else. But 14 months later I’m still there!
I worked at Amazon for 3 days and I quit my shift was 1:20am to 11:50am four days a week I couldn’t handle it. Stowing all night was horrible!!
I’m using Amazon to invest in my businesses. I don’t wanna be there long but I’m gonna stay until my businesses are 100% up and running. I’m single with no kids so I got all the time in the world. I just really got sick and tired of this 9-5 lifestyle
I tried Amazon, and I was fired over a scrape on the van! It was my first day. I threw away the uniform out of anger and sent the manager a horrible email of him, explaining how he was a terrible manager. Their companies expect you 2 deliver 100-300 packages in 1 day!
The job itself is not hard, but the people in charge make it hard. They decide how fast you have to work, they decide how to work, and the pay still doesn't cover enough to pay for a decent apartment.
Just quit yesterday I didn’t even make it to 2 weeks. It’s not for me turns out I do like talking to people
Lol I can relate to your story. when I quit Amazon, I feel released.💀it’s not like it’s a bad job or anything. but 10 hours shift is challenging. especially when you get the boxes. scanning each of them 5 second isn’t. and sometime they May have a heavy stuff in it. it’s just frustrating. it wasn’t for me i’m not that fast + I lost my sleep

I worked there in peak season 21’. I made $16k for 3 months but nearly lost my feet. I still have so much pain in my feet till this day! I’m affected by it almost everyday. While that money was nice and I’ll be honest you’ll make good money working there. But just know Amazon warehouse conditions WILL take a toll on your mental and physical health without a doubt.
