The feeling I get from the six themes: Patience: Timid, basic, unimposing, being essentially just the regular baseline of Flowey's Theme with a drumbeat. Bravery: Mysterious, spooky, almost like Gaster's theme. Integrity: Demented, dark, evil, feels "wrong" somehow, with very distorted notes. Perseverance: Imposing, mighty, "holier than thou" in a sense. Kindness: Uplifting, positive, but also apprehensive, scared. Justice: Prestigious, regal, but also desperate and stressed. Somehow, the feeling that the themes of each of these souls convey do not really match their interpretation, especially Bravery and Integrity.
It feels almost like the opposite. . . patience theme feels jumpy, the notes don't linger at all and they're kinda sharp bravery has a scared feeling to it, mysterious and unknown integrity has a lot of chaos and division, the pitch of each notes have a lot of other notes in between perseverance almost feels like it's stuck, unresolved, in work but getting there, and everytime the next quarter starts it falls back down to the lowest note kindness feels very scolding and stressful with each switch between the higher octave and lower octave justice is the hardest but the beginning falls to lower notes each time, almost as if it's losing hope or being combated by something and losing

Bravery sounds too mysteriously in a reference of you embrace yourself on something you didn't know how will it impacts you. Integrity feels cold as in a way sometimes the truth is much colder than it should have been.
The Integrity theme sounding evil is actually quite fitting, since it’s implied that the blue SOUL human was keen on killing monsters (Their items are described as “dusty”)

I like patiences and justices themes. Justice just has a good bop to it and patience just has that feeling. I feel like there could be a music theory to all the souls, just im not sure what it is.

Integrity sounds scary, almost, probably because integrity is supposed to help you push through hard times like fear. Perseverance sounds hopeful because y'know… Kindness sounds calm, if anything. Maybe it's just me, but kindness, bravery and maybe integrity sound like "female" themes. Especially kindness. But yeah, kind girl who loves to cook is quite easy to imagine.
Bravery is the only soul color that we don't use in undertale, even patience, we don't use it in fight, but there's a puzzle that can be solved by waiting (the instructions of the puzzle calls this "patience" so I think it counts.)

Patience - cheery, innocent. (not very different from the original) Bravery - intimidating, ready to fight, but not malicious? Like a boss fight, but for a character you can recruit. (also sounds kinna space-y! :]) edit: heard people describe it as mysterious, which def checks out regarding that intimidating-but-also-not vibe! Integrity - It's either creepy, apathetic, or mopey and awkward. Depending on how you choose to interpret the missed notes. Perseverance - hopeful, but focused and solemn -- befitting of its name! Perhaps one could even call it.. DETERMINED..? This one _also_ makes me feel like I'm in space :) Kindness - level-headed, focused. Maybe a little sad? Gives me the same feelings "Heartache" does. Justice - bright, hopeful, sounds like it's encouraging its comerades on to fight at the last moment.
The cyan soul represents patience. Patience's items are found in the Ruins. It could be assumed they stayed with Toriel as opposed to leaving. The orange soul represents bravery. Bravery's items are found in Snowdin. Since Snowdin is the point where blue attacks are introduced, it could be assumed that as orange attacks require movement to avoid, Bravery couldn't avoid getting hit by the blue attacks. The blue soul represents integrity. Integrity's items are noted to be dusty and make you feel dangerous. It's likely Integrity attacked monsters and was killed by the Royal Guard. The purple soul represents perseverance. Perseverance's items are most effective when taking damage. It's likely this backfired. The green soul represents kindness. Kindness' items revolve around healing. It's possible they relied on this such that they didn't last long when their healing was outpaced. The yellow soul represents justice. Justice's items are said to have been found in the dump in Waterfall when you ask Catty and Bratty. Surely they just died early and their inventory just floated down to the dump, right?
The yellow soul’s items (at least in Undertale Yellow) end up in the Waterfall Dump after a funeral held for him by the monsters you befriend in True Pacifist. The soul himself makes it to New Home and gives himself up willingly as justice for the monsters trapped underground.
I like how in all the soul themes, at first it plays its own kind of song and then it plays some version of floweys them but the original theme still plays in the background.
The fact that ALL of the themes shown above is in a song called "your best nightmare". A song that starts for the entirety of the flowey's bossfight (except the end of course).
What i think the story for each soul would be... cyan soul (flowey ruling the surface world) Orange soul (an alternate dimension) Blue soul (alien theme) Megenta soul (energetic overflow) green soul (duel) Yellow soul (Starlo's Wild east duel) or clovers theme
Idea: each souls theme represents how they felt about flowey before they died. I know that i'm 2 years late, but i agree. dark blue's theme just stands out to me, with it being eerie and distorted. it just sticks out compared to the rest.

Patience - cheery, innocent. (not very different from the original)
Bravery - intimidating, ready to fight, but not malicious? Like a boss fight, but for a character you can recruit. (also sounds kinna space-y! :]) edit: heard people describe it as mysterious, which def checks out regarding that intimidating-but-also-not vibe!
Integrity - It's either creepy, apathetic, or mopey and awkward. Depending on how you choose to interpret the missed notes.
Perseverance - hopeful, but focused and solemn -- befitting of its name! Perhaps one could even call it.. DETERMINED..? This one _also_ makes me feel like I'm in space :)
Kindness - level-headed, focused. Maybe a little sad? Gives me the same feelings "Heartache" does.
Justice - bright, hopeful, sounds like it's encouraging its comerades on to fight at the last moment.

Green and magenta are my favorites.
The cyan soul represents patience. Patience's items are found in the Ruins. It could be assumed they stayed with Toriel as opposed to leaving.
The orange soul represents bravery. Bravery's items are found in Snowdin. Since Snowdin is the point where blue attacks are introduced, it could be assumed that as orange attacks require movement to avoid, Bravery couldn't avoid getting hit by the blue attacks.
The blue soul represents integrity. Integrity's items are noted to be dusty and make you feel dangerous. It's likely Integrity attacked monsters and was killed by the Royal Guard.
The purple soul represents perseverance. Perseverance's items are most effective when taking damage. It's likely this backfired.
The green soul represents kindness. Kindness' items revolve around healing. It's possible they relied on this such that they didn't last long when their healing was outpaced.
The yellow soul represents justice. Justice's items are said to have been found in the dump in Waterfall when you ask Catty and Bratty. Surely they just died early and their inventory just floated down to the dump, right?
The yellow soul’s items (at least in Undertale Yellow) end up in the Waterfall Dump after a funeral held for him by the monsters you befriend in True Pacifist.
The soul himself makes it to New Home and gives himself up willingly as justice for the monsters trapped underground.
