We thought it would be even more fun to articulate the head of the popper with a Big Game Shank to get more movement out of the popper while throwing tons of water with the Double Barrel Popper Body.
The Articulated Double Barrel Popper can be sized up or sized down to chase everything from anfish to pike - and everything in between.

I don't use topwater lures or flies very often, but this fly looks like it will tear up smallmouth

Indeed. Keep it is the smaller sizes (medium or small head) and you should clean up
