I have not. However if someone could get a big aggressive trout to grab one, it could very well be someone in Iceland with a big ol brown! lol

Kind of reminds me of this popper design called the femme fatale. It has a lip weed guard.

v nice fly. what wt. rod do you normally use ?

I made the fly to be fished with a 6wt. Anything from a 5wt and up will work though.
