Great video Steve 👌 and a great location too. I can't wait for the cooler weather to arrive here in Melbourne Australia.we have 37 degrees Celsius today which I think is close to 100 degrees Fahrenheit. I'm waiting to get a Tamiya Hot shot 2 (2024 ) not Blockhead version. See what happened there? Tamiya released the Blockhead version first and now whenever I make reference to the Hot Shot 2 I need to preface the comment. People wanted the original Hot shot 2 and when the Blockhead version was released, people weren't too enthusiastic. Now Tamiya did it right. I love the Grasshopper too. I've got 2 candy green Grasshoppers and a Hornet. Nice vid man👍👌
Great run, I’ve definitely ran a few of my rc’s at the local baseball field after some rain and it can be tough, uneven ground etc. looks like the grasshopper handled it well!

O man that's HOT!! Yeah I did not like that hotshot 2 blockhead version also. Grasshoppers are fun!! Thanks very much for watching.
Tires do good on the hopper nice rip
so much more grip!! Thanks
It looks great and drove well with those tires on there! Such a cool, classic buggy!
It really is! these buggies are simple but fun, the tires are a great hop up for all the hopping type chassis. Thanks
Awesome run Steve. I really like this idea👍
Thanks 👍 It works like a beauty!
Those tires sure seemed to work quite well! Nice rip Steve!👍😊
so much better a perfect match for all hopper chassis! Thanks HD!
Cheers mate, your Tamiya “promo” voice over always brings a smile to my face. 🙂
Glad you enjoyed it, have a full playlist now with all the tamiya guy videos in it!
Beauty for sure. Still fun all these years later
Yes yes YES!! Classic that never dies! Thanks
Love it! You should make many videos of Grasshopper. Fun to watch!
😁👍 bouncy beauty!
Great run Steve! Kyosho makes some great tires, their rubber compound is really good.
Yeah they worked awesome! Thanks
Yup.. Perfect tires for this bad boy. A lot tighter packed than I expected. Nice run out there brother
Yeah we got so much rain this month the ball field was soaked packed! Thanks for watching!
Looks like you had fun
Always with a grasshopper! Thanks for looking.
the paint Scheme makes me want some olberto's jerky😂 love it❤🎉
😁 He he he! Thanks for watching.
Spikes a good choice for grip 🙂 Nearly a killer stick, they can be a pain when they get jammed in somewhere. I do not miss long Aerials.
I got mine caught in a tree branch! The long antennas the good old days! The tires work awesome on these. Thanks
@@ShenRC A long aerials would be a pain for me out trailing.
My God , is there any better sound on earth than the gearbox on a hopper.
Its a big kids dog whistle.
🤣🤣👍👍 Yes it is!!! Thanks for watching!
Great video 😁 love the grasshopper 🦗👌
Thank you! Cheers!
Tamiya is Timeless and infinitely modifiable lol.
for sure! Thanks!
Nice run! does it still have the 380 motor?
Unfortunately no, I dropped in a silver can 540 beauty! 😁👍
🤙🏽 very cool I had a grasshopper a long time ago, and a hornet 🐝
Great 👍they are fun classic buggies!
Great run, I’ve definitely ran a few of my rc’s at the local baseball field after some rain and it can be tough, uneven ground etc. looks like the grasshopper handled it well!
for sure and it sticks like glue to your car too! the hoppers a beauty! Thanks
@@ShenRC very true, I think I still have some of stuck to my rc even though I’ve cleaned it more than once lol
Good run. That’s way too fast to be a 380, what motor are you running
Yep I put the silver can 540 stock motor in it. 😁👍
Do you still have number 12 an 6 of the super grips ? Thanks
Get me on Facebook 👍👍
There perfect the flame details 🔥 an letters came out super clean too🙏
Boom boom 🦂🦂💪💪😀😀👍👍
It's a beauty!
Will the Scorpion tires fit on the stock Hornet wheels or do I need wheels as well?
Hi somebody once told me you can fit them I am not sure you may have to use ca glue on them also?
