The Scorpion is one of my fave all-time buggies, handles nicely and sounds SO good! Hi Steve, great video dude. The Kyosho was flying over that terrain! I have the same motor as you in mine, it's a good match! That rock though! 😲😬👍

Shame the sand was soggy, it would have looked good there. But the flattened out spot seemed good.
Yep soggy sand is not good! It was fun and I also have some other cool footage of this one doing the unthinkable! 😮

Whats that APC monument for ?
Yes this one has the stock compound front tires they are hard plastic like so they slide and you don't turn. I think it's dedicated to somebody. Thanks for looking.

That torque-tuned Tamiya motor gets it moving a lot better than I would have guessed. And watching the suspension on this one really shows the difference between Kyosho and Tamiya from that era. The Tamiya cars almost always had way too stiff springs and sit with the suspension fully extended all the time - no droop possible - and you can't fix it without spending $$$.
