Small note, when filming something with a device and talking from behind, especially phones, the audio mics are often set to try to cancel out the sound coming from behind and the voice will sound worse either thinner or electronically suppressed and mumbling. You can add an example of that by filming yourself and then whike filming turn it around and continue talking. The difference will be obvious and I think invaluable for people to understand that feature. And also it shows if it DOESN'T do that so allowing speaking from behind the device in sort of tour guide mode.
Hey, thank you, that is invaluable information and something that didn’t even cross my mind! Moving forward when it comes to reviewing the cameras I will definitely be implementing that into the review! Thanks again, much appreciated 👍
There's nothing wrong with 3.5mm jack. It was a dumb trend started by apple to remove it. You don't gain anything for. It being removed. You actually lose. The problem is that you're losing a port and they don't replace it with another type of port. I can't use my wired gaming earphones and charge at the same time. The 3.5mm jack also has other auxiliary purposes as well. It really has nothing to do with being out of date. That's just the gimmick they sell you on. @@jounikyy7715
Its true the max resolution is 2k. But when setting the video to 4k, one could zoom in and still see more details. There is just no benefit when zoomed out as 2k is the max res of course
LCD panels have a potential benefit for being eye-friendly in the case of extended usage in dim light conditions courtesy of the lack of PWM dimming found otherwise in OLED screens.
Couldn't agree more. I haven't been able to upgrade my Nokia 8.3 5g because all the new flagship phones have cheap OLED displays. If they can make $400 OLED TVs pwm free, they certainly can do the same for $1200 phones. I'm looking at you, Samsung 😑
I bought mine in a US bestbuy it came with a black power brick, cord and ejection key, it also looks brighter then your copy. Thnx for the details but you really glossed over the big sell point the Speakers, the sound is amazing and fills the room and pretty much makes up for any shortcomings it may have, I was never really a tablet fan till this Lenovo now I am spoiled by its sound, also works great with my DAW 😉
Nicely done on the review. You said this has the best speakers in this price range, I'm curious what other tablets outside of this price range have better speakers than this?
This has 8 speakers right and they are huge, dont they drain battery like crazy? How is the battery life while continuously watching movies nonstop for example. Please answer
HI great video. Something I did not really catch from the video export part, can it export 4k videos. I am considering the tablet for daily use and some light video editing with lightcut or Lumafusion to put on UA-cam or Instagram. Do you think the tablet could manage that?
Seems better than the a9+ that i was planning on getting for my daughter, would this be fine for roblox/minecraft and watching youtube? She doesnt play any "high end" games.
Great vid cheers. Im wondering how this compares in sound quality a d sound loudness to a mini Bluetooth speaker? (Something like the bose soundlink micro or jbl clip 4) ... Is it as good and as loud, if so i could get this to replace that and have less stuff to travel with. Plz tell me 😊
Does the tablet wobble when it is placed on a flat surface? I'm worried that the uneven back side will make the tablet difficult to use when placed flat on a table.
Hi, in the case of the Tab Plus, the raised housing for the speakers along the bottom prevents it from lying flat. You’ll need to use the kickstand, which can be rotated out to almost flat but not completely.

@@DigitalSamTV Yes indeed! It's very loud with adequate bass you won't need to add an extra speaker of any kind. The whole purpose of the Android tablet is to have an all in one multimediamedia system with big sound. That's why I purchased this myself. I have a 2TB micro sd card inside of mine loaded with TV shows, mp3s and movies. I brought this to my parent's house and prompted it on the counter with the built in kick stand. We were watching Sanford & Son. I had the volume near max and I had to turn it down quite a bit.
@jonathonearl482 Thanks I appreciate that reply, I'm not talking about adding an extra speaker to a tablet. I usually travel with a secondary laptop which has bad sound and then I use a small Bluetooth speaker with it which is amazing sound then. Does this tablet work as well as the small Bluetooth speaker or it's maybe 60% of that? That's my question. If it's as good like 80 or 90 or 100% as good, then I'll get rid of the speaker and use this tablet as the external speaker for my secondary laptop
@@jonathonearl482 hi there i appreciate the reply! i actually found it on show in a store yesterday and took my bose micro to compare. the sound is impressive from the lenovo tab plus - however. the bose micro speaker is much much louder, significantly. me and my friend think about 30 to 40 % louder from the bose pluse significantly more bass and sound quality. SO - im not sold as the tab plus being a replacment at all, but definaltely like it. for now will keep my old tablet and speaker to use for secondary laptop. its a shame the tab plus doesnt go just20% louder and better bass really. i did try a thrid party ssound boost app, which got the tab plus up but then u dop get a bit muddy and distorted. wheras the bose speaker or tribit speaker are both fine . cheers

Hi, I haven’t had a chance to test the Lenovo Tab Extreme so unable to say, but the speakers on the Tab Plus were definitely the best I’ve heard in that price range
@@typicaltechlad it's all cool. I just ordered mine from Lenovo here in Denmark with a cover, a keyboard and a pen. I already own a yoga tab 13 and the pen. Interesting (and I think important note) is that the pen system is the same as windows surface pro and is interchangeable. I use both a windows tablet and a Lenovo tablet at the same time on stage as a musician and the pen works on both. It's nice NOT having separate pens for each tablet. That's a bit of a nightmare when working quickly and grabbing the wrong one. But for normal people (muggles) that also means that you have more places to find a replacement if in a pinch. The eraser on the windows pen even works on the Lenovo. Slight problem is the actual contact point where you hit the glass is slightly off center using the windows pen on the Lenovo. I anticipate that the pen situation will be the same on this cheap tablet, too. Thanks for the review.

what is the name of the 2nd game you're reviewing grapics, 2nd game (1st person shooting game name)
That would be Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile (COD Warzone)
