This is exactly the type of tablet I'd like to get. A true media tablet with a great speakers for it's type. If I have to nitpick it's probably the size and weight but that's just the nature considering the type of device this is. I'd say when it comes for purely media consumption, this is a solid option.
If you want a mid budget tablet that is good for watching movies and for media consumption... This might be the best tablet you can get. It might be heavier and don't have long software support, but considering the price and it's targeted function, I think it's okay
Problem with Lenovo is lack of software updates. You need to place more emphasis on this in your long term reviews so that people are aware of long term support they will receive. It will also put more pressure on manufacturers to support their devices and prevent more e-waste. All reviewers should be doing more in this regard. Also please check if the usb-c can also do video out or in.
@@joelconolly5574 I did, software support is mentioned but what I am referring to is long term reviews. In other words, confirm Lenovo did actually support their devices as promised or if they address bugs in a timely manner.
There is a difference between No. of OS 'Upgrades' & No. of Years of Software &/or Security 'Updates' .. you are correct, this☝️has to be more in numbers either way for longevity of product use.
I have one and am very happy with it, especially the sound, it really does fill up a room. It's also plenty bright and it came with a power brick and cord, my honest condensed review🤓
I want this tablet but like everyone else is complaining about is the 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of Security updates is kinda a deal breaker...but i understand that this tablet is not a flagship tablet...it is marketed as a entertainment tablet.
Have you tried screen recording? After recording a full hour it stops and doesn’t want to begin recording soon after. Sometimes it makes me wait more than 5 minutes.
I haven't tried it but I noticed on many devices including Windows machines that it can stop recording on its own. I think it's because these video files are quite large and need to be processed in the background while you do something else. My guess is that it stops when it runs out of RAM and then it needs a while to process it. But it's just a guess.
Can you please state the model? You keep saying Lenovo Tab Plus, but they have sooooooo many tablets with plus models. Your Amazon link is an example of that. If someone was actually interested in which specific device your talking about, it would take them a lot of digging to find it
I wanted the OnePlus, but it didn't have sd card reader, this one is cheaper and better if you only want it for media entertainment , quick browsing, nothing extreme .
Does the tablet wobble when it is placed on a flat surface? I'm worried that the uneven back side will make the tablet difficult to use when placed flat on a table.
Just take the tablet down to your local Office Depot/Office Max/Staples and find one that fits. That's what I had to do. Got mine from Office Depot, it was the smallest one they had.
Imagine this being smart display capable (Nest Max alternative if you will) ... but that would require software support, so I guess that is the reason Lenovo did not go this way.
Speakers are really awesome but I won't buy it over Xiaomi Pad 6. Lenovo should have been given a brighter display & little bit more powerful processor
Please do review lenovo tablets after 6 months..they are the worst...software always buggy..most tablets get major issues within one year itself..if u ever buy lenovo don't ever update the software.
Even audio professionals struggle to record speaker comparisons. Then there's the question of what the frequency graph of whatever you played this video on is. So don't think you can form an opinion of how it sounds.

If it has one fault it is that it has no access to cellphone networks.
100% 😊❤

I bought a cheap Lenovo tablet a few years ago. I was surprised by the many software updates it got.

Oh boy, cant wait to open mine ! 😊❤
I have it. Best Android Tablet hands down! I wish Lenovo would also make a Windows tablet with the same features.
❤❤❤
That is awesome a tablet that focuses on high quality speakers. Perfect for listening to music and watching movies and UA-cam videos!!
❤❤❤
I have the 3rd version and live it! Looking into this since the old one is too slow for streams in the meantime.
Where can i buy ? the link you provided there is no Lenovo Tab Plus... by the way great video thanks

Impressive indeed...😊
Can you hide the small white circle (the the stylus shortcut icon) at the right side of the tablet?

On Lenovo website, the name is exactly that 'lenovo tab plus'.
@@jaydawg3031 Or more precisely : Lenovo tab plus 11.5
Can u use it as a second monitor without third party apps?
this. if this has alt-display out, it would be a huge hit.
I don't think so none of the other tablets with this processor have that ability. (I'm waiting on mine to arrive)

Doesn't it double up as a bluetooth speaker also? Nice preview. Thanks.

It looks like Yoga Tab version of P11 Gen 2, but it will never be available in US

Isn't the brightness a bit below par?
Is it better than xiomi pad6 ??
Minor difference still xiomi pad6 better than this ! If only multimedia entertainment purpose Lenovo better
The Xiaomi pad is way more powerful but this is a great choice if u want a bigger screen and speakers
Can i connect this tablet to a projector??

Major issues like what? And why shouldnt we update?
Maybe that's why companies offer fewer upgrades/updates to avoid more problems .. which is shirking their responsibility, in a manner of speaking.

Don't waste your money on these types of products, Lenovo doesn't update their devices, and that's important for security and new features.
4 years? How is that "not updating their products"?
After 4 years remove personal info and credit info. Use your phone for any purchases and carry on…
For 26W of power, the speakers are woeful. 2*2w speakers in my latitude 9330 are far better.
