The fact so many people didn't pick up on the fact the Stormruler 2 is important is baffling to me, since it has a unique collection animation and everything!
Also the fact it is called the "*Serpent*-Hunter Spear" and you get it in the same room as a big snake boss called the "God-Devouring *Serpent*". Vinny said in Part 1 he never played the Dark Souls games, don't know if he ever played Demon's Souls, so I can't fault him for not know of the Stormruler from them, but the other things I don't get lol
your average player is not that smart, imagine if it was like in the storm king fight from demon's souls where the special sword you need is in the opposite side of the arena

AND beating first phase Rykard without thinking to use the Serpent-Hunter?
Yeah I wanted to include that but it didn't fit together with the rest of the highlights, and had to be cut together in an odd way because of how he did the summon. Unfortunately left on the cutting room floor

Actually falling over laughing. My cat thought I was dying I'm pretty sure, and I can't blame her.
You want a brain dead way to kill malenia here's what you do. Get the great star and bloodflame blade and prelates charge. Buff the weapon the press L2. Congratulations you won the fight. This isn't a joke, this actually works.
Doesn't she have a special move to back out of stunlock? I tried using shield crash and she would do a spinning dance halfway through my attack to get away. Waterfowl could probably get you killed quickly if you're in the middle of charging her too.

vinny has played so many hideo kojima games that unless he doesnt have the lore, mechanics and secret tricks explained to him in a 20 minute length exposition he will just look straight at the Rykard Fight Grace and the Rykard Fight Weapon and decide they're just decorations. Like in the Movies!
oof yeah the Sellen end of quest is pretty awful but ig its technically a "good ending". She doesn't die and actually she does complete her research, its just that her research was fusing glintstone mages together using magic and their undead bodies into graven masses. And she does exactly that....with her own artificial body and academy students. Or....this is a theory a lot of people have, she gets rennala to change her to have "ultimate magic power" or something which results in the graven mass body. Similar to how there are a few monsters turned noble humans using the larval tears. Which if true means she could be changed back by breaking the "larval tear body" because the changed form has to die to break it. Sellen could be totally fine if it was possible but sadly she's stuck in a no combat zone as a floating rock head forever.
